I find it hard to believe all the 5 star reviews about this company. Do they pay people to write them?
The work carried out in our bathroom was shoddy at best. In the end we sent them away with remedial work needed that we carried out ourselves.
Electrical fittings were left dangerous. Panels were left scratched, the new shower tray damaged. The wall cabinet too low. Other items in the house were damaged by their inconsiderate movements.

The work to completely revamp my bathroom into a shower room took two and a half days. Tom and Shane worked hard and were clean and tidy and polite to deal with. Many thanks.

A wonderful local company, Ability Bathe! Appt was made for designing my new shower room in a house I'm having renovated. Jay came round at short notice to design everything from bath out, shower installed, wall panels, insulated flooring, hinged panel on fixed shower screen, new loo, new vanity basin, wall panels etc. Everything designed to be disability friendly for me which is wonderful. The whole team from start to finish were wonderful, friendly and helpful. I was recommended them by a friend and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Price was good, work is incredible, so impressed with everything they've done. All installed over a couple of days.
To find a team that understands disability needs is such a great relief. Thank you so much. I will definitely recommend Ability Bathe to anyone.

Personally I would never recommend this company and if you entrust them with your elderly relatives homes make sure you get a reputable plumber / surveyor out to post inspect the works.

This firm ‘fitted’ (I use the term loosely) a shower suite to my parents bathroom. Initially they didn’t connect the shower drain properly so this caused a leak then 3 months after fitting my mother kept smelling an atrocious smell in the shower cubicle.
Owing to poor workmanship, these complete cowboys had not properly sealed the pvc panel to the wall allowing water to ingress behind the panel and eat into the stramit board wall (construction type) this soaked the wall and meant the shower was unusable.
We had a couple of visits from Andrew Ward, the charming sales man who had come to their house initially, but when challenged because his team have caused borderline structural issues to a property he becomes abrasive, aggressive and abrupt towards customers.
We ended up having to put this through as an insurance claim owing to Mr Wards refusal to deal with the damage he caused and this meant my parents had 3 months of no shower facilities, having to wash in the kitchen sink.

If you highlight a problem expect him to delay proceedings, refuse to deal with works, we ended up having to notify trading standards and citizens advice and serve him letters to both his home and work address before he would respond to his equally slippery insurance broker (who deserves his own review)

I cannot or will not ever forgive him for the stress he put upon my parents and for the ‘service’ he provided.

Amazing company completely focused on customer care and satisfaction. I had a walk in shower installed in half a day. From start to finish my experience with this company was completely stress free and communication was exceptional. A family run business led by Andrew whose philosophy is that the client is happy. I now have the most beautiful shower that exceeded my expectations. Very little disruption during installation and the bathroom was left spotlessly clean. I cannot recommend Ability bathe highly enough and I will certainly be using them again. Thank you Andrew and team for the most beautiful bathroom and workmanship

From the initial telephone conversation with Andrew in the office, followed by amazingly professional, patient and helpful advice from Jay the Sales And Marketing Director to the superb, top quality workmanship, courtesy and friendliness from Aidan, Aaron and Charlie - the "fitters", the hard workers who were so diligent in everything they did, everything was top notch. I am a pain in the neck, fussy, fretful pensioner who thinks that if anything can go wrong it will (but it did not!). Over the last 10 years I have had about 3 other companies bother to turn up and quote on what I wanted doing. They all said it could not be done, would not work and wanted to charge up to 3 times what I paid Ability Bathe. I was convinced that all home improvement companies were cowboy outfits and gave up! I eventually contacted Andrew and his company replaced the bathtub with a fantastic quality walk in shower (I weigh 21stone and like room to move safely in a shower), a tremendous Mira Thermostaic shower unit and terrific wall covering. They proved that quality British workmen still exist. Thank you all, I'll shut up now before I get cut off!!

Would highly recommend Abilitybathe who fitted a beautiful walk in shower, sink and toilet for my elderly brother. A lovely experience from start to finish quick and efficient staff would definitely use them again.

Very helpful marketing gentleman, listened to my wishes, gave excellent advice and quoted within a couple of days. The work took one day as promised (other firms suggested a week). The fitters were helpful and profession, clean and careful. Did a great job for us at a reasonable price. Even sourced and came back to fit an extra matching flip down hand rail I needed, when the job was complete, at a competitive price. Can’t thank them enough.

We received a all round excellent service, initial meeting was good, we were happy with advise given and all explanations. Workmen were polite, tidy and friendly. The room was left clean after they left each day. Small problem which was sorted right away. We would definitely recommend Ability bathe to friends and we have. Thank you for excellent service.

Arrived at agreed time and carried out the work cleanly and efficiently. Couldn’t fault them and the transition from bath to shower looks great.

Abilitybathe provided an excellent service from initial consultation right through to final completion. They turned up at the agreed time, were smart and professional at all times. The estimate was much lower than we expected, and all work carried out to an excellent standard. The actual work was completed in one day and house left clean and tidy.

We have a small, oddly shaped bathroom. We had contacted a number of companies before but none of them were able to give us a quote. We saw an advertisement for Ability Bathe and decided to give them a call. I gave them a call and spoke to Jay who said he could come the next day to take a look.
The next day Jay turned up as promised with a range of sample materils. He measured up and said he could not see any problem with what we wanted and made some suggestions for things that would make our lives easier. We chose our suite, flooring and wall coverings from his sample and Jay left saying he would be in touch in a couple of days. He was as good as his word and came back with a detailed plan and a quote . We accepted this and arranged a fitting date for the three day installation.
Installation day arrived and Andrew (Jays father in law and company boss) arrived. The team were very courteous, conscientious and hard working and cleared up completely at the end of each working day. We were kept informed as to when they would be turning the water off and they kept that to a minimum. At the end of three days we were left with a fabulous new bathroom. After a few days of use we discovered that the mirror cabinet was too low for comfortable use. I called Ability and they were here the next day to rectify the problem. All in all, a very compent, efficient and friendly company who we can highly and unreservedly recommend.

Fast fitting and clean, well mannered fitters problem with shower but replaced in good time great service

This company is absolutely amazing! They work hard and get the job done and nothing is too much trouble. Super polite and finished to s high standard! I can’t recommend them enough!
