I am so thankful I contacted Acorn. I have been in a quandary for some years about being able to access my basement garage. Jaclyn was polite, friendly and helpful and kept me up to date. Brett has a very friendly manner and arrived on time both times he came to my home. I have quite a narrow and step stairwell so I was very concerned he wouldn't be able to install the stairlift but Brett worked his magic, so now it's in and a game changer for how I can now use my home. Thanks Acorn so very much.

The men that were installing the chairlift were brilliant, They were pleasant and very informative. As to the chairlift ltself, it has changed my life for the better. To be able to know that their stairs were no longer a problem was a great feeling. The results of having it installed in a two storey house has made both levels
available at all times. It has proved to be a huge success.

I rang about a loose cable under the main rail the chair lift runs on. It was agreed that the next time a service person came to Wellington they would come around and fix the issue. We are still waiting to be contacted.

Your installer Was top of the line couldent be more helpfull

Makes all the difference going up and down the stair, has also helped a couple of visitors as well. Well worth it

Other than a few days' delay when the installer was taken out of action, we had no hassles with the whole transaction. The replacement installer (Manuel?) was quick, polite, tidy and and completed the install in a timely manner. Hence the 5 stars!

Really great because they really listened to my comments and fixed my problem. I now have a stairlift that works great and looks good.

Paul arrived an hour early.{a phone call ?] He reassured me that everything could be achieved easily and set up the payment method expected.The installer did a very competent installation and explained the use of the chair. Thank you.

Very efficient. They explained it after taking about 3 hours to install it. It works perfectly. this review is very difficult. It doesn't accept my date. Why does it say Trust Pilot when it is Acorn stair lifts

The sales rep who visited the house was very obliging.
I would like to have know that there was a higher seat model. The one installed is 450mm which is too low for a tall person. I spoke to the rep at P. Nth accessibility show and he suggested it could be replaced.
The rail could have extended further on to the top landing making it safer to get on the seat. It would be very easy to fall down the stairs at it is.
The stairlift has I consider a design fault in that the footrest does not swing around in line with the seat and is a long way back for someone with long thighs.
One of the remotes has never worked from day one.

Did everything they said they would. Good communication keeping in touch at all times. Friendly well mannered representatives, honest and taking time to explain anything we did not understand. Could not wish for a better service.

The communication was excellent. There was a prompt response when we rang about the electrician. Both the designer and installer gave us clear instructions. And also Clear time frames!

Great service from all; especially from Jocelyn and Greg King. Jocelyn went out of the way to help as we needed to change the date a few times. Greg had a few challenges with the installation and he patiently got them sorted.

I am so disappointed with this company. My husband passed away 12 months after purchasing our stairlift. I was told that there would be an option for the company to buy it back. After ringing customer service I was told that there was no option and that in fact I would have to pay to have it taken out. The service staff were not helpful at all when I need support. My family are very unhappy that I was offered this option in the first place. We would have looked at other companies that offer this service
