My husband and I are enjoying the stairlift chair. He has Parkinson’s and I have arthritis. No complaints at all l. I even referred someone to you. Thank you.

The sales rep, Brian Raffetto was very professional and explained everything in great detail. We intended to purchase in about a month, but we did not buy at that time because of one individual named Sam who would not stop calling us. We repeatedly told him we would not be in a position to buy for about 4 - 6 weeks and to stop calling us. However, he continued calling until I had all phone numbers from Acorn blocked. Now, a year and a half later, my wife's Parkinson's has progressed to the point that we needed the stairlift. I was told that Sam was no longer there and we placed the order. The installer, Kent, was also very professional and knowledgeable; he worked fast and left the area spotless. We are very pleased with the stairlift.

Acorn provided what every service company must:

-- 100% return on my investment.

My husband was unexpectedly released from the hospital under hospice care. I called Acorn and Roger Tedd came gave me an estimate which I approved. He then set about making sure it got installed the next day as my husband was stuck upstairs. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful surveyor.

Prompt response, efficient installation, & great product.

After a few days of use our only complaint is that the trip up and down is slow. However, maybe at 79 years I should be happy with a slower pace.

I guess another complaint was the availability of the install crew. After three canceled appointment for installation, Keith was sent and he impressed us all with his tidy and organized professional manner. He was luxurious with his time, patience, and detailed explanations. A most capable chap!

The machinery itself is of high quality in appearance. Safety measures are well conceived and executed. I would suggest a step by step explanation for prolonged shutdown. Our stairlift is installed at a family condo which is occupied for 2 weeks 3-4 times annually.
Another suggestion is a Sunbrella or other material cover for the aluminum rails. Our device will be exposed for weeks between uses.

A really gentle man name Ian installed my Acorn Stairlift, quick frankly even though I had given the go ahead to install I was a little apprehensive. I felt that this was a sign that I was getting old and no longer being active. I was having hip replacement surgery, and I live alone in a 2-story house. Ian explained that I should look at my stairlift as a "tool" to help me get around like I use a lawnmower to mow my lawn. That made me feel better. And, I can honestly say installing the stairlift was a good decision. I do walk and exercise my hip, but I get tired and the stairlift helps me out...it is my tool! Thanks Ian and the salesperson who sold me this wonderful product,

I had an Acorn stairlift, then I fell and fractured my pelvis.Because of this your stairlift that comes all the way down to the floor was ordered. I think that the price I paid for the second one plus the price I paid for the first one that was returned was excessive and I would appreciate a refund.

Beeping annoying when start. Had a "6" error when going up the stairs and kept beeping and thought it would never stop. Disappointed does not have an alarm when seatbelt not fastened. Moves consistently but would not call it "glides". Foot rest does not swivel with the seat so not safe when getting off chair. But gets me up the stairs.

From the salesman to the installer, it was very professional. A job well done.

installation was quick and neat. product is as advertised, a little slow and not quite as intuitive as one would hope for a product designed for handicapped person.

From the first call to the home visit, then install, we had nothing but confidence that we choose the right company!
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful in understanding what my aunt needed. From the time we made the call to installation was just one week. Everyone we contacted seemed to care for my aunts safety as much as I do. We are 100% satisfied!

The complete experience was exactly as I had expected. Installation was quick, operation was simple, and everything works as advertised. The hardest part so far is learning not to leave things on the stairs to carry upstairs later.

When the installor left we found that the track is not even while we were using the chair. the chair rocks sometimes and stops because hanging up on the uneven track,

My 2014 chairlift one was dying the other died. I had to purchase 2 new carriages. I had chairs and rails so just carriages. From the very first call I made to the last. Customer service was 5 star.The telephone service was perfect, understood my issue and directed me to proper person/dept. The technician Jacob, and Daniel were awesome. The heard my issues dealt with them, cleaned up after themselves, I can't say enough how grateful I am to have used ACORN again. Staff is wonderful. I am happy with my two new carriages. Thank you , a happy customer

The tech that installed the stairlift (we think his name is Cameron Watts) was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable, task oriented and explained to us how to use it and had me take a test drive. There aren't enough words to express how much we appreciated him and his customer service.

My experience with Acorn has been the single most frustrating, disappointing, outrageous experience I have had with any service company. They will not come and service our broken stair lift. They have given us the runaround, repeatedly asking for measurements and photos, and then telling us they cannot find them, open them, or just don’t know what we’re talking about. They finally sent a serviceman out after I complained all of her social media, and he had the wrong account, was prepared to service another kind of stair lift, and the main office said we had to start a new account because they can’t find our photos, again. Clearly, they are looking to sell stair lifts, but do not care what happens to them afterwards they will not service their product.
