At first I thought it was TOO basic, but I soon realized that it was being done in steps and now I see the genius in it. I'm on week 10 now and the Songs have gotten more challenging but also more rewarding. It requires a good bit of practice, but that should be expected when learning to play a musical instrument.

Andrew paces the lessons just right. I tried learning by book, by net programs-they didn’t work and left me feeling like I couldn’t learn. That I wouldn’t play for anyone. But after this course I feel good, I can learn (already played for others). The ability to watch Andrew play, and having him talk through the lessons made a big difference. I highly recommend Acoustia.

I like the slow approach, as Andrew uses in the excellent Silent Night video that I am working through now. My effort is in getting my right hand fingers to act independently. I hope others are reading this, as I am saying, don’t give up. Keep practicing, every day, and do not get discouraged. Another guitar teacher I have had also made the point that: look, this isn’t easy at first, but you have to keep at it, and presently you’ll get it without even thinking about it. Never give up, and you will succeed.

This course is very well thought out. It stresses an incremental approach which I found lacking in other guitar sites. When I follow Andrews instructions, I feel the improvement. Perfect course for learning to put chord progressions together and making them sound right.

This program is just what I needed.

have been concentrating on "Silent Night" with the aim of getting my ten fingers to work in harmony.
It's difficult to get the right hand to sequentially pick, and I am getting rid of the bad habit of having one finger play strings repeatedly--it's hard, but I'm working on it!!

I have a really nice guitar, Takamine F-390MS. I've had it for years, and, when my experienced friends play it, it sounds very nice. Now I'm getting to make it sound nice. Sincerely, Phil

I ordered this course and have never received it. Hard to give a rating of any kind if you have not received the materials to use to do the course.

I like the method, but this will be WAY more than 20 days. I expect this would go faster if you were young, like teens or 20’s, but it will be weeks or months to get the chord transitions down to where they are clean and I don’t have to look at my hands. However, I do like the approach and I believe it will work over time.

The program is well organized and easy to follow

This is a great course and I can learn at my own pace. I was in a bit of a rutt and this course helped get me out of it. I just wish the full Mastery course wasnt so pricey.

Andrew, as is usual for so so many people, life gets in the way of our plans. I have been busy with many projects and am not as far into the course as I should be. However, having said that I have really enjoyed the parts that I have covered and I really can see the potential and am very excited in continuing. So far, great course.

Having expressed some confusion regarding what the course I purchased contained I rated my experience only a 3 star. However, receiving a prompt response and explanation I have revised my rating based upon my progress and enjoyment to 5 stars.

The programs available from Acoustia Guitar are amazing. If you are a seasoned player or a beginner there’s a great selection of programs and support available to fit all levels. Andrew and his team are there to help you succeed no matter what your personal goals are.

I'm confused. Is the 112 page e-book the only thing I received for the $239 I paid. And what is the Masters Course? I have enjoyed my experience so far and am following it very slowly. I am 75 years old and continue to work full time, so practice times are a bit constrained. My ultimate goal is to play classical, have played sporadically for years and do read music.

I am finding the content of the course excellent WHEN I can get to it. Sometimes the website logs me out, other times like tonight, the video simply won’t load. I am using chrome on my iPad.

I like the way the course is broken down. It helps me focus on specific things and not get ahead of myself.

I have not gone through the whole course yet but one thing that does seem absent is specific advice or exercises on chord changes...more on the 'how'.

But overall I like the course very much.

Because of a hand injury I had to stop playing guitar, but I should be able to start strumming course soon.

I have played classical before but have not for a very long time. I have been just cording for a few years and fingerpicking. Good information for beginners and to refresh coming back. I am amazed at how much I had forgotten and how much my finger had forgotten. The information is very useful.

This program is straight to the punch. The only thing that I think would make this program 100 is if there were examples of songs that work with each strum. Very good program!

Andrew is a really good teacher. Clear and gentle. His videos are to the point, no waffle, and allow you to go at your own pace. The fingerpicking in 20 days course has a pdf book with it so you can print pages off as you need them if you want a hardcooy.

The courses is excellent, Andrew, but I injured my right hand and have had to back off for a bit. Thanks. Carol
