Rewarding experience ...
Joined their 1-day clinic at David Lloyd Finchley in mid August. An absolutely rewarding experience with 5-hour on court learning useful and practical skills. Intensive yet great fun. Big thank you to coaches Jack, Owen and Ben, they made the session not just professional with lots of takeaways, but also fun-filling. Will join one of their holidays or clinics again for sure. Indoor courts in David Lloyd Finchley are great though a bit warm that day.

Hello Shuk 👋
What a brilliant review, thank you!
It’s great to hear you got so much out of your day at Finchley. Five hours on court is certainly an intensive session, so we’re especially pleased it struck the right balance between learning plenty of practical skills and having lots of fun along the way.
Jack, Owen and Ben will be delighted with your feedback. It sounds like they made it a really worthwhile day, with plenty to take away and put into your game.
We’d love to have you join us again, whether that’s at another clinic or on your first Active Away holiday!
Kind regards,
Kathleen 😊🎾

First Active Away holiday
I had my first Active Away holiday at Lyttos Mere in May. It was a great time of year to go, the weather was perfect and the facilities, courts and staff were amazing! We were hosted by Matt, and coached by Alex, Chris, Gemma, Sam and Sophie who were all amazing. The tennis drills were fantastic so everyone came away with an improved game. Thank you everyone, I’ll definitely be returning

Appalling service, zero reliability, and dishonest excuses
Avoid Active Away. Their terrible communication and lack of professionalism completely ruined our holiday plans.
In April, I requested a provisional invoice for a tennis holiday and received an email confirming they had my details. I was then completely ghosted for two months—no invoice was sent, and my repeated phone calls were ignored. We reasonably assumed the trip wasn't happening.
Out of nowhere in June, we received an automated demand for full payment of £2,728. When I cancelled, the manager tried to blame me, claiming they never received my paperwork. This was completely dishonest; I had email proof they received it, and another colleague had already admitted it was their own internal oversight.
They have now voided the booking, but their contradictory excuses and awful customer service mean I will never trust this company again.

Dear Peter,
Thank you for your review. Whilst we don't have any record of a booking with you in our system - we presume this is with relation to a similar booking.
We’re very sorry that our administrative error and lack of communication caused so much uncertainty and ultimately disrupted your holiday plans.
Once the issue came to light, we voided the booking and made a number of genuine attempts to put things right, including sending champagne and merchandise and offering you a complimentary event. These gestures were not intended to diminish what happened, but to demonstrate how seriously we took your experience and our desire to rebuild your confidence in us.
We are disappointed that, despite these efforts, we have not been able to restore your trust. We fully accept that goodwill gestures cannot undo the frustration and inconvenience caused, and we have reviewed the internal failures that led to this situation to help prevent a recurrence.
We may not always get things right - but we always try to do the right thing and really do our utmost to resolve any issues. If you would indeed like to resolve this issue - please feel free to respond to our email chain with you.
Thanks,
Active Away
Excellent week of tennis coaching at Aphrodite Hills
Fantastic week of tennis coaching at Aphrodite Hills delivered by Amelia and India. The girls did a superb job with nothing being too much trouble for them. They are both great communicators and extremely personable both on and off court. I very much hope that our paths cross again on another Active Away tennis holiday.

10/10 tennis holiday!
Active Away do an excellent job of balancing high-level tennis coaching and a relaxing 5-star holiday. As a solo traveller, I was initially a little apprehensive of how my week would unfold, but I felt welcomed and quickly became part of the group dynamic.
Each day was thoughtfully and meticulously planned. The coaching was high-energy, fast-paced and tailored, making it both challenging to each player and highly enjoyable. Dan and Annie are exceptional coaches who not only brought expertise, but genuine care and consideration to each player. They created a fun, supportive environment that made the whole experience even more memorable. Beyond the tennis, they were fantastic hosts and got fully involved in the social side too.
I honestly could not fault my tennis holiday and am already looking forward to rebooking next year! Thank you so much to Dan and Annie and the whole team at Active Away for creating such amazing memories!

Active Away tennis holidays- quality coaching, fun times and stunning locations .
Active Away tennis holidays are a brilliant way to learn some new tennis tips and skills , in a stunning location , and have fun with new friends at the same time. The holidays are excellently organised , and the on site coaches are also your hosts , delivering instruction and great fun, both on and off court.
There are many different hotels and countries to choose from. I find Liberty Lykia in Turkey to be the best, but standards are high wherever you go with Active Away.

Great tennis good memories
This is our 5th time at Lydia Lykia and once again a great experience. The updated session plan worked really well and I felt the energy levels were even higher. The updated sessions gave me new insight. The coaches were again a credit to those that strive to get the mix right. Engaged, insightful and upbeat. The mix of tennis and après-tennis is managed with a light touch. As always it feels like a family run tennis active holiday. Caught up with old friends and made new ones. If you have not been on an Active Away holiday you are missing out. if you have see you next time. Great tennis. Good memories

Incredible trip to Lyttos Mare
I had an incredible experience at Lyttos Mare! The hotel was fantastic, and their racket sports facilities - amazing. They were always mega but have gone next level over the last two years—truly top-notch. It was a joy getting to know everyone and playing all week. I’m already looking forward to returning for another trip soon! Thank you so much Matt, Alex, George, Jay and Sophie.

We have just come back from Liberty Lykia in Turkey where we had the most amazing time. All of the coaches go the extra mile to make sure the holiday was perfect from start to finish.
