Chad, we’re truly sorry for any confusion regarding the date markings on the battery. The date you see is the manufacturing date, not the expiration. As shared in our email yesterday, the 4-year lifespan begins once the battery is installed.

I placed an order for AED adult pads
I placed an order for AED adult pads. More than a month later, I have been charged but no pads. I called on Monday and was told that they were backordered for at least another month. I checked some other sites, ordered from there, and called to cancel my order. After calling to cancel, I received an email stating that my order had been received, and then an email saying that my package would be delivered tomorrow. This is ridiculous. The person I spoke with had no idea what she was talking about, or she lied to me and arranged the shipment. Either way, it is unacceptable.

The original order was back ordered and I was not informed of this till I had a chat with customer service. Upon hearing of this the chat person changed my order to one that was on hand and shipped it right away.

It was VERY easy to find the AED we use…
It was VERY easy to find the AED we use and the batteries needed.
One suggestion -- when you send batteries, maybe you could send some kind of tape with the date (that could be applied to the AED) similar to the green tape on units just purchased. It's a really good reminder when the batteries are due for replacement. We also ordered new pads since those too had expired.
