had a bit of trouble setting up a valheim server wwith mods. after getting in contact with an admin very quickly, we worked together for about an hour to get everything sorted. great experience!

Amazing tech help
I had an issue switching my server between two types. When I opened the help chat and posted my issue, it was less than 10 seconds before the representative messaged me back with a troubleshooting question. He had my server switched over and running in under 5 minutes. Best tech help I've ever had.

Amazing support, easy to set up
Hosting is great (only lost service once) and support is FANTASTIC.
The only way it loses a star is the FAQ, while helpful, are fairly brief and could use a lot more topics. For instance on our Terraria server we didn't know how to create a server and choose Corruption/Crimson. We were told to create the world outside of the server then import it using the FAQ about using our own world. However, what that doesn't explain is that by doing that, it will use the Difficulty that was set on your imported world, NOT the difficulty set in the Aleforge control panel. So we had to wipe our world after a few days of playing and try again.

Thanks for the review. We will try to make that more clear as Terraria's difficulty is stored in the world files and can not be adjusted after you create a world. We do mention on the value in our panel that a new world has to be generated if you want to change the difficulty. We wish we could add the option to select either Corruption/Crimson but that isn't exposed in the server software provided by the developers as a command-line parameter.

The frontpage of factorio servers
The frontpage of factorio servers, says theres 1 click mod install, but you have to download and after that upload the mod from your pc, and 1 hour after i bought the server, i wanted a refund because it took a lot longer for mods to get uploaded, but i didn't get any refund.

I am sorry you had a bad experience using our service. We do not offer individual mod installs for Factorio but we offer Mod Pack installations we curate for our customers and are available on the Factorio installation with automatic mod updates as stated on the Factorio page. We also state that mod installers are only available on select games we can integrate our panel with. You can read both items again on our Factorio page: https://aleforge.net/games/factorio.html. We also would have been happy to elaborate on this if you had contacted our live chat or ticket support with any questions you may have had. We also offer no-commitment free trials so you could have tried our service to ensure it had all the features you wanted without ever paying. Our 1 GB trial plan is plenty to test our the Factorio with several mods to make sure the panel has the features your want and the service performs as you want it to.
I also looked at your account and saw you never contacted our support who would have been more than happy to assist you in getting your mods loaded if you had a custom configuration or it may have become one of our curated packs if it was unique compared to our existing ones. Our support goes above and beyond daily and have installed multiple modpacks a day for a single customer as we strive to provide amazing service. Uploading multiple files to our panel is super easy and can be accomplished by clicking and dragging multiple files at one time or uploaded even quicker using an FTP client. We enjoy getting feedback from our customers and regularly add features, games, and more based on their suggestions.
As for the refund request you never submitted a refund request to us. You only stated in your cancellation feedback you wanted a refund. Normally the cancellation data is compiled and reviewed each quarter and asking in this location is not how we take these requests. To put in for a refund request please open a ticket with our billing department by following our guide: https://billing.aleforge.net/knowledgebase/37/How-do-I-Get-a-Refund-within-the-Refund-Period.html.
