Robert Miller is a hands on CEO, with patient personalized attention throughout education, contracting, enrollment, onboarding and strategy. The metrics shared are true past performance, not simulations or back testing.

I put in $6,015 through GNT Brokers into AlgoAlpha's funded account program. With 10:1 leverage that gave me $60,150 in working capital, which sounded great going in. After 47 trades over about 15 days (April 9–24), my personal deposit was essentially gone — the account lost $6,281 net of commissions.

The gold trades are what did it. Five XAUUSD positions lost over $5,600 combined. Three of them were consecutive buys in mid-April that just kept going the wrong way and weren't cut. That's what bothered me most — there didn't seem to be hard stop-losses working the way I'd expect. Losses were left open to run, and that's a real problem when you're on a funded account with limited buffer. I had a couple of other positions — CHFJPY, GBPJPY — sitting open for over 10 days with no resolution.

Commissions added up too. $1,141 over the period, which stings when a lot of the winning trades were bringing in under $100.

To be fair, the short-side trading was genuinely good — close to 80% win rate there, and execution was clean. There's something real working in this system.

But here's the thing nobody tells you clearly upfront: at 10:1, a 10% drawdown on total capital wipes your full deposit. That's not a complaint about the structure — it's just math. It means stop-loss discipline isn't optional, and gold exposure needs to be managed much more tightly. Three stars because the algo has real edge in spots — it just needs guardrails before the funded model works in your favor.
