Stugge klantenservice houdt vast aan interne procedures bij zeer grote problemen

Inmiddels enkele malen contact gehad met Allcamps. Er was de eerste dagen echt alles mis, en hebben t eigenlijk allemaal zelf moeten oplossen, terwijl we dus op vakantie zijn en daarvan willen genieten. De letterlijke quote van m’n laatste gesprek bij de klantenservice zegt t allemaal wel denk ik: ‘we kunnen pas na uw vakantie over compensatie spreken, want t kan altijd nog erger worden’. Wat resulteert: Interne procedures waar niet van afgeweken kan worden en een kastje naar de muur verhaal tussen de klantenservice van Allcamps en de receptie van t park. Erg teleurstellend.

Waar t allemaal om draait: t bedlinnen ontbreekt, dus we ‘sliepen’ al 2 nachten op plastic matrassen en plastic kussens. Met 2 kleine kids levert dat geen gezellige dagen op. Gaandeweg blijkt dat t probleem met de levering al meer dan een week speelt, maar er wordt bij ons en andere arriverende gasten gedaan alsof t probleem net is ontstaan en ieder moment opgelost kan zijn.
Inmiddels ben ik zelf bij de supermarkt lakens gaan halen, t is me echt onduidelijk waarom ze dit niet zelf doen voor de gasten.

Verder vertoont de accomodatie allerlei kleine gebreken. Allcamps is zelf niet de beheerder. Op mij komt t over alsof Allcamps een soort ‘restpartijen’ van uitgewoonde accomodaties op goede vakantieparken beheren en tegen zo hoog mogelijke prijs proberen te slijten.

Hoewel Allcamps niet direct verantwoordelijk is voor een oplossing ter plaatse, zijn zij aanspreekpunt voor compensatie voor ons ongemak. En wat dat betreft zijn ze niet meewerkend - ik word niet doorverbonden naar iemand met beslissingsbevoegdheid, er wordt niet van procedures afgeweken, etc etc etc. Ik hoop dat de tijd uitwijst dat t toch toekomt.

Disappointed ;(

Accomodation provided was not as descirbed. Did not match the images provided. Ants on arrival, which we were advised would be dealt with. Disappointed to find no action was taken even after the third attempt of asking. Was advised that it was down to the weather. They were EVERYWHERE. We have rusty kitchen utensils and the Premier accommodation was so small you couldn't swing a cat around. There was no 'L' shape sofa area, just one straight piece which was used for 2 seats at the dinner table, so it was not a lounge area. Again, excuses were given that there were 25 newly renovated chalets and that they were aware that the images did not match what you were being sold. Could not sit comfortably inside our out due to the ants. Wonder whether the DGCCRF would like to know about this?

I specifically booked with All Camps for the bigger chalet and still didnt get what I paid for.

Sadly will not return to Le Chêne Gris as part of Marvilla Parks / Roan camping.

2night snapshot…

2night snapshot…
The campsite feels safe and has a vast amount of activities for all ages.
We tried the 3 food provisions on site which were all decent. The cafe near the entrance was the cheapest and had the best lunchtime selection.
The pool is understandably very busy with minimal lifeguard supervision and some slides were not open which was disappointing. There were 2 sanitary blocks which lacked sanitation and are in need of updating for a 5 star resort. The hot water in the showers was scolding with no thermostat which is the last thing you want on a 30degree day.
Laundry room was fab as it runs from an app which allows you to track if there are available washers/dryers and how long machines have left on them.
Onsite bowling did not allow bookings, it was first come first serve, and wait for a lane so we never got chance to play as we seemed to visit at busy periods which was a shame.
We would revisit in future despite the few disappointments as it was such a big site with so many activities we didn’t have time to do.

Unwelcoming Concentration Camp . .

We booked a 4 night camp stay at ‘Camping Parc des Roches’ to see the Paris Olympics. Our initial arrival experience was ok, but at check in, they decided to let us know that swimming ‘shorts’ could not be worn in the swimming pool? We didn’t pay much notice, as they handed us a ‘welcome bag’ containing, amongst other things; a toilet roll, bag of sweets, wash sachet, plastic baby rattle and a tin of tuna. . We only had one full day to spend on site and were looking forward to having a swim as the weather was very hot. When we arrived at the pool around 11:30am, it wasn’t very busy and we settled down for our only day there. My partner changed into his freshly laundered swim shorts and entered the pool. Within minutes, two young attendants came up to him at the pool edge. I could see them instructing him, and then they made a call for extra support ?? Consequently, a ‘security’ person came along in his buggy and joined the other two. I watched as they all hovered over my (70 year old) partner, with their arms folded .. (really ?) and requested him to get out of the pool. It was ridiculous!! There was hardly anyone in the pool, maybe two others. They said he and my son (also with laundered fresh swin shorts) had to purchase speedo type swim trunks at their onsite shop in order to enter the pool. How ridiculous. We paid enough money to be there, so to ask us to spend more money on this for one day seemed outrageous to me. The attendants said I could ask the reception if it would be ok, so I had to walk back up to reception, but by this time they were closed for lunch until another hour. I asked everyone I came across - a security guy, who couldn’t help, and a female in the shop. Reluctantly, in order that my family and I wouldn’t miss out on any more of our day, I had to give in and purchase the trunks at the cost of €10. The whole experience ruined our short stay at this campsite. Together with the lack of help, understanding and welcome attitude from all - the couple in the cafe were especially rude and miserable, totally the wrong type of people to be there. The young Italian male at the pool, was the only person with any kind of empathy and understanding, and I suggested he go and work somewhere else. To add insult to injury, my partner went all the way back to the cafe to buy ice lollys, and again we were asked to leave the pool area and eat them outside! This place is the most unwelcoming campsite I/we have ever experienced in our many years of camping. I have checked all my correspondence from ‘All Camps’ and I could not find any mention of any ‘special’ swimwear requirement? There were other people in the afternoon wearing ‘inappropriate’ swimwear but some were overlooked? This is not acceptable - one rule for one and not for all - very bad, and very wrong. There were many other discrepancies on the site also - only a couple of showers open, no toilet seats on toilets?? no toilet paper?? no hand wash in toilet blocks?? no hooks in toilets?? Hardly any surface for clothing in shower area?? The final insult was the constant drone of music noise ‘every’ night from the cafe bar area! Hardly relaxing !!!
N.B. I suggest they add some ‘SWIM TRUNKS’ to their ‘WELCOME BAGS’ instead of making extra profit from robbing innocent customers!!

Not vetting suppliers!!! Awful

Not vetting suppliers!!!

We booked for a week at a site in France. Private pitch, with electricity near amenities. On arrival we were thrust into an agricultural field on what felt more like a traveller site. We were told that because we booked through allcamps it 'wasn't their problem'. Clear allcamps are not ensuring what is booked is honoured. 15 hours travel to be left up a proverbial creek without a paddle because there was is clearly no quality control on how suppliers honour what was booked.

Edit 20/08: The sales team were helpful and sympathetic, replying promptly to the above message and indicating other sites with availability. It remains the case however that Allcamps need to better manage their supplier relationships as it isn't acceptable to have their partners not only fail to provide what was booked but then shrug off any responsibility

Too little help too late

Straight forward booking process however when the campsite and facilities are not what you have been sold there was little support too late
We had booked electricity with our pitch but none was available. I contacted allcamps to try and support as my son has medication that needed to be kept in the fridge but with no electricity this was not possible. Allcamps did contact back the following day however as we had no electricity I had no way of charging my phone so didn't know they had called or messaged until after it was too late. All I can say is thank goodness for the kindness of fellow campers who offered to plug our fridge in their caravan otherwise we would have been in a bigger mess

They changed our site without confirming!

We arrived at our camp site and it wasn't the site we booked! We wrote in a complaint that evening as the phone lines and reception had closed. The next morning we went to reception and they said this happens all the time as the site has 2 sites with the same names and All Camp change people around. We were not happy with this site for a few reasons, the caravan we extremely dirty, it was small with no slides in the pool area, you couldn't walk to the beach and the entertainment was appalling/nothing! The reception said we had to complain through all camps. They called us that morning (25th July), to say there was no room at our site but they would email us other options. They emailed 3 options.... 2 of them were not dog friendly, so not possible. The 3rd option was for change of site in 2 days, to a completely different site. We chose to change and replied back to the email immediately. There after we heard nothing from all camps, all day we tried calling and emailing, finally at 17:37 (6 hours after we requested confirmation) we were told the site would be booked for us and a new voucher would come through. The next day no voucher was emailed, so again we spent the day emailing and chasing and heard nothing. The following day and day of the move we still didn't have confirmation, so we called the new site, they confirmed they only got the booking late the night before. The whole time we kept asking for a complaint form and for our holiday to be extended due to missing out on 2 days (1 day chasing and complaining, and 1 moving locations). Both these requests were ignored every time! Once arriving to the new site the entertainment was appalling for young kids, actually non existence! My 10 year old waited days to play in a football tournament at 3pm. Once he arrived it was for only over 16 year olds! Him and a lot of other children were extremely disappointment, there was no age limit on the entertainment board. The caravan was far from the pool and far from the beach. A site I wouldn't have booked for a reason from the start.

In reply to your reply: I NEVER booked the wrong website. I booked to correct website. It was even confirmed on our arrival that this happens often, you change people. Plus your colleague also confirmed this on the phone, you changed us! We booked the correct campsite. You changed us!

We offer 2 campsites with the same name in the same area so that is a pity.You have been changed to another campsite but you were not happy there eather. I see you already filled in a complaint on our website and that my collegues are working on it. As soon as we have spoken with the campsites we will come back to you at least within 4 weeks.

Easy to book and good price

Easy to book and good price, only issue was booking bedding for the park home, it said single or double per unit, but actually should say single per bed or double per bed,so when we arrived we were 3 sets of sheets short.
