I love the alligator chopper. I have used it for many years. It was a gift and I am so pleased that I am able to get a replacement. We make a lot of salsa so it get used a lot. I have the 3 different sizes

Overall, the service was wonderful! However, the duty we had to pay was quite exorbitant, given the price of the chopper. A bit more transparency that we'd be charged a duty (plus a rough estimate if possible) would have been helpful.

Pay the Price of a Full Electric Chopper Set — Receive a Manual Chopper

I purchased a simple manual food chopper from this company. After I had already paid for the product and shipping and received the item, FedEx sent me an additional invoice for USD 24.30 for import-related charges.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that the additional charge is substantial in relation to the nature and value of the product. I bought a basic manual chopper — not an electric appliance or a complete kitchen appliance set.

I contacted the company several times and asked two very simple questions: Why did this particular low-value manual item result in an additional USD 24.30 charge, and where, before checkout, was I clearly informed that I could receive a separate FedEx invoice after delivery?

Instead of answering those questions directly, the company repeatedly referred to DAP terms and even explained that U.S. tariffs are intended to “support and strengthen the U.S. economy.” That does not answer my questions.

The real issue is transparency. A U.S. customer should know before completing a purchase that, even after paying the full product price and shipping, an additional FedEx invoice may arrive later.

Had this additional cost been clearly disclosed to me before checkout, I could have made an informed decision about whether purchasing a simple manual chopper from Sweden made any economic sense.

Based on my experience, U.S. customers should carefully consider the total potential cost before ordering from this company.

Your identification of and information for selecting the correct items is derelict when it comes to parts. I have a stainless steel Alligator mini-chopper that I thot I was ordering the 'cleaning' trays for and received three huge useless large grid 'trays' AND was charged for something I didn't want, need or could use.
HORRIBLE representation for those loyal customers who are merely attempting to improve the function of your very wonderful choppers.

It was not clear enough that with a plastic table it is not possible to purchase 9*9 blades later. From the numbers and pictures I could not understand that such a main blade size for salad is not included in the set. After reading the forums I read that this is the alligator's style to take money from fools and create additional sales. and I feel stupid and cheated and this product ultimately creates a negative feeling.
