The Alpinestars Tech 7 boots lack quality. I have been dealing with the Alpinestars warranty team since March 2025, but I have not found a solution to my problem! I bought an Alpinestars Tech 7 boot that simply started to disintegrate after practically no use. I am speaking from Brazil. I have already contacted the Brazilian, U.S., and now Italian offices. The warranty team opened the assistance case number 01226682 and promised to replace the product. However, the case has been dragging on for over 5 months, which is unreasonable. Marinna and Ranieri have responded. I have exchanged over 21 emails regarding the issue, but nothing has been resolved. I have sent photos of the product and labels four times to meet repeated requests, but to no avail! Regarding this case, I have been involved in the world of motorcycling since I was a child, so I have owned and continue to own a wide variety of street and off-road gear.
I have worn FOX, ASW, FLY, GAERNE, and ALPINESTARS boots. I have repeatedly used some brands. However, none, absolutely none, have been made as poorly as Alpinestars. Moreover, most of the brands mentioned are sometimes even inferior to this prestigious brand.In fact, if we were talking about an entry-level product, one could argue that it is of lower quality due to the lower price. However, I own a pair of Alpinestars Tech 7 boots that are simply falling apart, something I have never seen before!The equipment has been used very little and is in deplorable condition. As discussed in detail with the Alpinestars team.I am completely disappointed with the product and the company's service.I will not settle for no-solution solutions. Even if I spent 100 times the cost of the equipment, I would seek compensation. It is not a matter of cost, but of how the company treats a loyal customer of its products.

Terrible company. Shocked that such a well known brand can have such poor customer service and basically rip us off.
Trying to return some boots that we paid nearly £150 for and the website failed to generate a returns label. Tried for 3 days to contact by email, chat and nothing! No communication at all. Yet. We have a limited number of days to return these boots. Never again will we buy from this company. Biker community beware!

This company is honestly awful
This company is honestly awful. I have always purchased alpine-star gear. I purchased the tech air five plasma airbag. My airbag was defective and it deployed unexpectedly while I was removing my jacket. I owned the airbag for less than one month. I only used it five times.
I reached out to alpinestar on June 2nd. When I reached out to them again on June 16 for an update, They told me that “customer.us1@alpinestars”
Send me a message on June 10 which they did not. Now they are not responding to my emails.
It’s been two weeks and I’ve provided all of the information that they need. But, they’re not giving me a solution. I reached out to Cycle Gear, which is where I bought the airbag from them. However, they are not able to help because the airbag has deployed so alpinestar needs to handle this.
When you call their customer service phone number is it goes straight to voicemail. I left two voicemails and no has called me back. Now I’m stuck with a $900 defective airbag that has already deployed.
Absolute Shite!
Spent £120.83 on a pair of motorcycle gloves for my nephew July last year for his 20th birthday to go with his first bike.
Less than a year later (April) and after less than 1,000 miles of riding they started to come apart at the seams between the fingers.
I returned these to the point of purchase only to be told that they could not replace them (or refund them so we could buy a new pair) but they would have to be sent away to Alpinestars to be inspected, and once they were looked over they would either be repaired and returned or we would be given a refund.
Thta was over two weeks ago now and I have still heard nothing further and my nephew still has no gloves!
My nephew is therefore currently unable to use his bike to go out riding with his dad (as he has no other suitable gloves to wear!!) during some of the best riding months of the year!
I will never buy another Alpine Stars product, EVER!!
Zu teuer für die gelieferte Qualität
Leider hat nach nicht mal 1/2 Jahr der schwarze Hoodie seine Farbe verloren und überall rote ausgewaschene Stellen.
Nach mehren E-Mails die hin und her geschickt wurden, kam man bei Alpinstars zu dem Schluss, dass der Hoodie nicht nach der Pflegeanleitung gewaschen wurde. Allerdings gestand man eine Erstattung von 20% des Kaufpreises zu, was immerhin 13,60 € war.
Ich komme zu dem Schluss, dass die Qualität der Stoffe sehr gering ist, denn ein Hoodie von einem Billiganbieter verliert seine Farbe komischerweise nicht nach nur 5 Monaten und kostet zudem nur 1/3 des Preises bei Alpinstars.
Das war nun mal wieder der nächste Shop, bei dem ich nichts mehr kaufen werde.

I’ve owned motorcycles for 56 years. I’ve purchased more AlpineStar gear than any other brand. I had a charging issue with an $700 airbag vest. Customer service responded to my email with a non-answer. Future emails of mine were never responded to. Based on my recent experience with Alpinestars customer service, it is highly unlikely I’ll purchase another product from this company, This is the second online review I’ve ever written in my life. Buyer beware…
Sent incorrect items, can't contact anyone
My order contained 3 items which I did not order. And zero of the items I did order. Can't get hold of anyone in customer service to resolve the issue, and now I don't have the items I need. I would avoid! Terrible service.
They treat their staff like slaves
They treat their staff like slaves, no bonus or increase in 15 years of service, the own is a tyrant who treats everyone like dirt. He is never on the premises and lets two totally incompetent women run the show. Outrageous, I hope they go bankrupt.

I’m honestly shocked by the level of customer service (or rather, the complete lack of it) from Alpinestars. Over a week ago, I reached out via email to inquire about a few of their products that I was genuinely interested in purchasing. When I didn’t get a response, I followed up through their chat service four days ago, and still, absolutely nothing.
For a brand that sells premium-priced gear, you would expect a standard of service that matches the price tag (or even any kind of that). Instead, the experience has been the exact opposite: unresponsive, inefficient, and frankly, disrespectful to potential customers. It’s unbelievable that a company operating at this level hasn’t figured out that customer service is a crucial part of product quality.
Their loss, I’ll be taking my money elsewhere. Some companies seriously need to learn that ignoring your customers is the fastest way to lose them.

Firma propaguje obleky Tech Air 10 do svých kombinéz, ale ty jsou v praxi velmi problémové oblek tech Air 10 škrtí pod krkem, protože není technicky dobře vyřešen a kompatibilní s jejich kombinézami (zkoušeno s různými velikostmi a druhy jednodílných i prémiových kombinéz),společnost v této věci více méně prakticky nkonstruktivně a smysluplně nekomunikuje a co je opravdu smutné, že nakonec přiznáá, že tyto obleky jsou závodní jezdce nejsou vůbec používány stylem pro komerční koncové zákazníky, protože aby byla zajištěna kompatibilita a pohodlí jezdců jsou tyto obleky tech air 10 rozpárány a všity do kombinéz. Na snahu o technicé řešení s jedním oddělením ALpinestars to v nekomunikuje a tak je zde krásná ukázka paradoxu, jak na jedné straně špičkový jezdci propagují něco co v podstat v provedení pro komerční zákazníky je naprosto jinak (jako třeba pití obyčejné vody v lahvích Red Bullu) ... The Tech Air 10 suit is a pain in the neck because it is not technically well-designed and compatible with their suits (tested with various sizes and types of one-piece and premium suits). The company does not communicate in a constructive and meaningful way on this matter. What is really sad is that it finally admits that these suits are not used by racing riders at all, in a style for commercial end customers, because in order to ensure compatibility and comfort for the riders, these Tech Air 10 suits are ripped open and sewn into suits. The effort for a technical solution with one department of ALpinestars does not communicate, so here is a beautiful example of the paradox, how on the one hand top riders promote something that is essentially completely different in its design for commercial customers (like drinking ordinary water in Red Bull bottles) ... Will change your oder per their convenience
They changed my order without talking with me, resulting in the hassle of returning product and having to deal with refunds and delay in product I wanted. Extremely poor service. They don't understand how to deal with American customers.
CONTINUI E PERENNI PROBLEMI CON TECH AIR-10
Oggi sono uscito con il tech air-10. Come sempre ho avuto problemi con l'accensione A CASA del sistema. Una volta acceso, da fermo rimaneva verde per un paio di secondi poi la base led si spegneva. poi si riaccendeva e dopo un minuto stessa storia. Ma salito in moto diciamo che è rimasto acceso per un 70% del viaggio.. ma a detta di Alpinestars il sistema "dovrebbe " essere acceso ugualmente ( Cio non toglie che è uno stress vedere i leds spenti e pensare: funzionerà?? ). Quando mi fermavo si spegneva e non riuscivo a mandare la segnalazione tramite app perchè a quel punto non si connetteva ( ekkekkazzo.. ) Ma a furia di tentare a connettermi, sono riuscito a mandare due segnalazioni. Fossi in Alpinestars richiamerei tutti i sistemi e farei un metodo di accensione COMPLETAMENTE DIVERSO !!! Sconsiglio a tutti questo sistema finchè non cambieranno modo di accensione

alpine star smx 1 r v2 shoes
I brought a pair of Alpine star smx 1r v2 shoe and the glue on the left boot Velcro buckle has completely come apart from the Velcro strip - These boots are only a week old (Worn x4 times). When I returned the boots to the store of original purchase I received appalling customer services from amx Bendigo! I will not be buying any more products from them and I will give alpinestar a miss next time i need gear. This has left a bad taste as the boots are not even a week old!
