I recently underwent an abdominoplasty with liposuction and bilateral breast reduction performed by Prof. Mahajan – also known as the ‘Mommy Makeover’.
The size and weight of my breasts had caused me extensive problems for many years. Steroid injections and physiotherapy did not help my shoulder pain, so I began researching into a breast reduction and the benefits of this type of surgery.
I met with Prof. Mahajan for a consultation after researching about breast surgery and found that he was at the top of the list for recommended surgeons in my area. I was impressed by his expertise and as soon as I had begun talking with him, I knew he was the right surgeon for me.
Prof. Mahajan was professional, friendly, and really took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly and in a way I would understand. He spoke about the benefits and risks and really personalised the consultation to me. After examining me, Prof. Mahajan explained he thought I would also benefit from an abdominoplasty with liposuction as well as a breast reduction, to feel and see the full effect of the surgery and to ensure my body was in proportion. He explained he would be happy to perform the breast reduction alone and allowed me to go away and think about the options he had given me.
I had never had surgery before but did not feel nervous until the day of the operation as Prof. Mahajan and his secretary Nicola put me at such ease and were always available to call and ask any questions I had.
Following the surgery, Prof. Mahajan reviewed me twice whilst in hospital. I am in awe of the neatness and precision of his work, and I am so happy with the results of the incisions. I cried with happiness when he first revealed my body post-op and now at 1-month post-op I cannot believe how well I am healing. I am already driving again, I am back at university and I could shower and sleep in any position from 2 weeks post-op.
From my consultation through to my aftercare, Prof. Mahajan and his team at the Yorkshire Clinic have been incredible. I am so grateful to Prof. Mahajan for changing my life. My shoulder pain has already completely gone, I feel confident although I am still recovering and have some expected abdominal swelling, and I felt as though he understood my wishes as a patient from beginning to end.

Up until April 2022, I felt I needed to investigate some form of cosmetic surgery. This was for me and only me, I did my research and Prof. Ajay Mahajan was top of this list. I didn’t want a full face lift, I just wanted to take away a few years. The ‘AM Lift’ was what I went for.

I did a video chat with him, and I immediately knew I wanted him to do my surgery. He was very approachable and easy to to talk too.

I was very apprehensive having it done under Local Anaesthetic but I shouldn’t have worried. Each step of the way was explained to me and I felt in very safe capable hands.

After my mini surgery I sat up and held a mirror up to my face, I cried tears of joy. The results were beyond what I had expected to see. I was also back home within hours and I felt on top of the world.

I could never put into words the thanks or gratitude for having this procedure done by Prof. Mahajan.

I recently had pinnaplasty done on my ears and I was very pleased with results. I’ve always been so self-conscious of my ears and I wish I had done this sooner! Prof Mahajan is very skilled in what we does. He reassured me that he had been doing this procedure for over 20 years, and was therefore very experienced. Luckily he is Yorkshire based so I didn’t very far to travel! The procedure was done under local anaesthetic and both the professor and the nurses made me feel very calm throughout.
The aftercare was also very good. If I had any concerns the staff were very accommodating and I was able to see a nurse almost straightaway. I would highly recommend!

I am just over a week post cast removal after having a rhinoplasty and I can honestly say that I am so happy. I am a way off seeing the results due to the swelling that occurs as part of the healing process, but already there is such a huge difference.

This is something I have been wanting to do for so many years and I honestly did not think I would ever have the courage to go through with it, but after my appointment with Dr Mahajan he put me at ease and I just knew I was going to get it done as I walked out of his office. Dr Mahajan allowed me to say what was bothering me and then spoke honestly about what he believed he could achieve, he was just honest and I really appreciated that. I really like how he focuses not just on the nose but on the whole face itself to make sure that the changes he makes fits in with everything else seamlessly.

My decision to have breast enlargement surgery was not one I made lightly, I went backwards and forwards for years before finally taking a step towards doing proper research and when I did, the name ‘Professor Ajay Mahajan’ came up time and time again highlighting his research, extensive accolades and wealth of experience.
Upon first meeting him at an initial consultation, I was under no illusion that he was a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon, but I was also reassured that he was a kind and compassionate man who took great pride in his work and wanted the best for his patients.

I underwent a mini/midi face lift with Professor Mahajan in Dec 2022. I had just turned 49 years old and had tried botox, fillers and other treatments but was still unhappy with my loose skin especially around the lower half of my face/sagging jowls. The volume had dropped which is expected with the onset of age and gravity so I was recommended to see the Professor and after a little research online I went ahead and booked a consultation.
I had an initial consultation where Professor Mahajan clearly went through what could be achieved and before & after examples of previous procedures and decided to go ahead. The price was also extremely competitive for a Professor of this calibre and experience.
A few weeks later I was booked in and the operation could not have gone more smoothly. Two to three hours after arriving I felt like a new person! My sagging ‘hang dog’ jowls were gone and a more youthful, but still natural version of me emerged. The procedure was uncomfortable but not painful. The worst part was the injections at the start but this only takes a minute or so. The Professor is informative and talking throughout to you and the nurses, it’s amazing what can be done with local anaesthetic and the fact there’s no overnight stay is such a bonus! The aftercare was excellent, I had a follow up to check the wounds were healing after a week and then another one with the Professor three months later where I was signed off.
Six months later and I couldn't be happier with the results, people say how well I look without actually knowing why. My make up goes on easier and more smoothly as many of the fine lines have been tightened with this procedure and I feel my confidence has been restored. Another benefit I didn’t fully anticipate was my cheekbones were lifted too, as this procedure almost ‘puts back’ what gravity has pulled down. I didn’t realise there would be so much of a change there so that was an added bonus for me.

I travelled from Manchester to see Dr Mahajan. Contextually, I am 31 and lost a considerable amount of weight in my early 20s and since then had thought about the shape/droop of my breasts numerous times a day. I saved up for a number of years to have this surgery to allow some respite from these constant self-conscious feelings. I had time to do my research and I found Dr Mahajan to have excellent credentials and great reviews from his clients - as well as being a few thousand pounds cheaper than some surgeons with the same experience in Manchester. From my first consultation, he put my mind at ease, he asked what I wanted from my surgery and was very honest with what I could expect from my results. He manages to have a great sense of humour whilst also being very professional. He fit me in on a cancellation spot and the whole process on the day of my surgery was stress free (almost enjoyable!) He brought beautiful complimentary soaps etc and I felt incredibly well looked after. My surgery went well and despite an uncomfortable few weeks due to swelling etc. I could see immediately that I was going to be happy with the results. I felt like a completely new woman. Now, 7 months later, I am incredibly happy with the final results, I have just come back from holiday and have enjoyed wearing any bikini I choose and never having to think about what I wear because of my breasts.
I have recommended Dr Mahajan to other who have considered the same or similar surgery. I would not hesitate to get in touch with Dr Mahajan again.

I had breast mastopexy in March 2022 and the only thing I regret is not discovering Professor Mahajan sooner.
I was always worried about not liking the results and conscious about how bad the scars would look. I am three months post surgery and I couldn't be any happier with my new breasts. I wear clothes that I wouldn't have even dreamed of before and the scars have faded so much in the three months that any scar outweights the unhappiness of having saggy boobs. I'm so thankful for professor Mahajan and how he has transformed my life. I asked about a thousand questions in my consultation which he was more than happy to answer and put me at ease. I had a great experience with Mr Mahajan He is very professional and personable, easy to talk to about my concerns I had in regards to my rhinoplasty. I had Breast Implant Revision" procedure at the Yorkshire Clinic performed by Prof Mahajan,
My surgery was I February following a good and in depth consultation, where I was given lots of opportunity to discuss what I wanted and how the procedure would be performed.
My surgery went well and all the staff were friendly, helpful and on hand to help me throughout.
Following the surgery I stayed overnight at the hospital, I recommend this option as I felt at ease knowing the staff were on hand should I have needed them, on return home I was given aftercare and medicine to help my first week at home.
I only used the pain medicine for 2 days as I actually felt I didn’t need it, obviously things were sore and tender but genuinely not painful.
I have now had 3 follow up appointments with Prof Mahajan and each one has been great and given me good advice and care, I am now 3 months post surgery and I am so happy with my results, I am using a good quality moisturiser on my scars and to be honest they are barely visible, my shape is exactly what I hoped for and to his credit exactly what Prof Mahajan said they would be, obviously a revision procedure has it’s limits to achieving your expectations but these were all discussed with me at length before, during and after my procedure, I am so happy and feel I made the right decision with help to have the best possible options for my procedure and my results mirror my expectations to the letter. I would definitely recommend Prof Mahajan and the Yorkshire Clinic for anyone looking to undertake breast surgery.

Breast uplift with implants

I decided to initially have breast implant surgery a lot of years ago in order to build confidence and to feel more in proportion. I saw the first consultant who informed me that I would most likely need uplift and implants, signposting me to Mr Mahajan.
Well what can I say… the first appointment when he told me I could have a good size implant, informed me about all of the process and what to expect; I felt ecstatic and comfortable that Mr Mahajan was the right consultant for me!
Due to covid the dates for surgery changed but Mr Mahajan emailed me throughout and kept me in the loop so I knew what was happening.
The morning of the surgery, Mr Mahajan came down to see me and mark me up! He put my mind at ease and made me feel really relaxed. After the procedure I was seen 10 days after to look at my scars and 3 months after for discharge.
From start to finish I could not be happier with the process! My results are amazing, I feel tonnes more confident and Mr Mahajan has been brilliant throughout. I would definitely recommend Mr Mahajan for anyone wanting to have uplift and implant surgery, cannot rate him enough.

I had chin liposuction done by Professor Ajay Mahajan in 2021 and was extremely pleased with the results. The sheer surgical skills have left me with a chin that I am proud of and considerable weight removed from my face, making me look years younger. My face lengthened with age and my excess weight left me with a heavy face and a heavy double chin. I approached Professor Mahajan for his advice, after reading very positive reviews of him and receiving a couple of personal endorsements, and felt that he was very honest in the consultation about what could be achieve. I felt in safe hands during my surgery a short while after, and was given good advice to aid my recovery. All in all, several months later, I’m delighted with the results. My jawline is sleeker now, my chin is symmetrical and there is very even contouring. My skin has retracted well and I couldn’t be happier. I would thoroughly recommend this surgeon to anyone for liposuction.

As a final word, I want to add that I went into my consultation wanting a mini-facelift and was told that I did not need one and that chin liposuction would be more aesthetically beneficial. The former procedure was much costlier but the fact that Professor Mahajan put the needs of his patient before anything else is testament to his integrity. This has to be noted in an industry that has been known to exploit the vulnerabilities of cosmetic procedures.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my breast reduction performed by Mr Mahajan. The care I received was outstanding from the initial consultation to the ‘finished product’. Mr Mahajan explained everything to me, including any risks (none of which occurred I’m pleased to confirm). Everything went well and surprisingly, I wasn’t in as much pain as I expected. I took it steady for a couple of weeks, careful not to stretch and now four weeks on, I’m absolutely delighted with my breasts. They fit my frame (I’m 5 feet tall) - previously I wore a 34G bra and had a nightmare buying clothes. My boobs now look neater and my nipples don’t point downwards anymore! He’s a genius, I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I’d had implants for several decades, however as the years rolled by, things had begun to go south – my nipples in particular - and my breast size looked increasingly less appropriate for my age.

I wanted implant removal, but to be left with attractive but more a modest breast size, with nipples in the right place - now that I’m into my sixties.

I knew that a friend had the same operation by Prof. Ajay L Mahajan. She showed me the result & had been very pleased.

After that I had an initial consultation and Ajay was reassured that he could do the same for me. A date was set for the procedure.

The COVID lockdowns and impact upon the Health Service ended up delaying that timing by more than I would have ideally liked, but that was unavoidable.

The operation was carried out at the private Yorkshire Clinic. The staff, facilities and food were excellent. I was in overnight, which was a good thing as some swelling had occurred which needed a further operation the following day and another night’s stay. This was covered by the fixed price which I’d be quoted in advance.

After the operations the swelling went down pretty quickly. 2 months on, I still get some itching around the scars, which you can hardly see now. But the end result is exactly what I wanted to achieve. My new smaller breasts look pert and nipples in the exact place I wanted them to be.

I’d be very happy to recommend Ajay & reassure anyone else thinking of the same procedure to see him.

Excellent, he was very realistic and clearly told me the likelihood of the outcome regarding size and managed my expectations. Due to rheumatoid arthritis and taking immune suppressors I was very worried about healing and complications but they have healed so well and so quickly with no complications whatsoever. I’m so pleased with the results really natural looking breasts and really nice shape.

My surgery was very successful. I am really happy with my eyelids now. Professor Ajay Mahajan did excellent work. My 3rd time having surgery with him would highly recommend I now can see my eyelashes
