I signed up a couple of years ago and would check periodically for my results and click on those that had a common ancestor in their trees. It was interesting to see how we were related. Now, you have to upgrade to a paid service to do so. Not going to do it!

I did a DNA testing with MY HERITAGE & I was not happy with the results. I am very happy with the results from ANCESTRY DNA testing. MY HERITAGE DNA testing came back with 2 1/2% native american, I was not happy with that. I clearly look native. So when I took the ANCESTRY DNA test it came back with 32% Native American which is alot more accurate. I thank ANCESTRY for the results.

When I compared the DNA report to my report from 23 and me, I am disappointed by the lack of information received. I was not expecting to have to pay 69.99 per 3 months to access information. I'm not sure I would recommend the service when I compare the info received with that of 23 and me.

Nothing found on my father’s side. My grandmother was the daughter of a Coast Salish Indian and Irishman. That’s whose side I wanted to clarify, nothing was found

For a Christmas present, my wife purchased the ancestry DNA / 3 month membership for me. The ancestry system set the account up to my dead mother-in-law‘s name who never had an account. The Ancestry helpline has not been able to change this to my account. it would appear ancestry is just concerned about money and not their customers I do not recommend Ancestry

When I first got my results, I was able to download the pie chart with the percentages of my inheritance with each parent. Wanted to show my family but when I went back in to check the chart again, I had to become a member which I have to pay for. Looks like a way for Ancestry to make more money. Very disappointing. My boyfriend got his results and can’t access his pie chart. Very disappointing.

Ancestry should monitor the proper return of the samples into their lab. My sample has been altered and they have given me a wrong result and connected me with a wrong family and geography that never matches with my family history. I would like to request them to reinvestigate my results and they should take their time if they are incapable of finding the ethnicity of anyone other than white people. If I don't see the actual results or if it's counterfeited again. I would rather file a lawsuit against ancestry. Thanks.

I got the email saying "your ancestry results are in" and when I click on the link I get You Are Not Authorized to Access This Page
So now I paid for the DNA testing but the page is not accessible...what terrible service that is.

Three traits free? Good grief. Ancestry wants more money in order to get what I thought I was paying for already. 23 and me is wayyyyyy better.

I thought I would get more infos about my ancestors , how they are connected to me beside I found out the description of Ethiopia in my genetics was wrong since I belong to Nubian civilization which reside and originate in north of Sudan and extend to Ethiopia . I wonder how old is the extension of these DNA since my tripe is 7000 year old.

Way too many "add-ons". I paid $100 for this kit, and got some useful information, but at that price point you should be able to get a full experience.

I thought it was interesting to see where I'm from in the world. I did not like that my 'free' trial required a credit card to see any family trees. Clicking on a possible relative and being asked for my credit card was very off putting and made the experience feel like a money grab instead of a cool experience that would give me a taste of what I would be able to do if I did pay. I would suggest for future customers that you give an actual free trial for 2 or 3 days so that the excitement and interest would make people want to pay.

Well I have located my husband's birth parents within a few days of getting his DNA results which was our main purpose for getting it to see what we could find out. So definitely give it 5 stars!

Accurate DNA analysis as far as my research goes, but is there any DNA tracing of my First Nations ancestry? I figure this may be an impossibility due to lack of FN data and tracking of same.

Terrible. Can't access anything without more money. Family matches are not correct, no health information, can't see anything as all is blocked. Never accessed anything that hit you up for money for everything from the get go. What's the point in getting DNA done if nothing is available. Money grab plain and simple. What I did see must have been manually added as most of it was incorrect.
