Everything went good

Everything went good, found the driver called Joseph who offered the service for a price that was fit to my budget and he was the perfect person, very polite, professional, responsive, responsible and helpful. I am very happy and satisfied with AnyVan and Joseph services, would recommend to anyone moving across Europe.

Do not recommend Any Van

1 star as initial consultation and last minute scheduling was very helpful. 1 star for the way the call to schedule was managed by rep. However, miscommunucation with Any Van Franchise Operator caused huge disruption and impatient somewhat combatative attitude from mover. No call back from my Any Van agent on moving day when concern arose as he was with another client esch tume I called. The Franchise taking 30% of the mover's fee leaves for very disatisfied service providers. This seems unjust. The Van not big enough. Not as described. Driver communication poor and tone disrespectful at times though the person helping balanced a bit. The experience turned a difficult day into a bad and stressful one. The mover earned his fee in terms of moving but it was awful service. Any Van did not earn any of the €300 they took. The van could not take the final bits of my belongings. I had to pay an extra €200 to another van driver to take a small load the mover could not. Horrific experience. I could not get a call back from the agent I spoke with. The experience undid any goodness Any Van had generated and turned the conversation with the any van rep in what must have been purely deceptive sales patter or so it feels. But its done now and this review ends it. I hope no one experiences this apallingly a disrespectful and distressing service as we did.

Botched Piano Move

Booking ref: 9163520

My delivery driver - let’s call them “J” - was contracted to move my piano from Dublin to Kildare. It cost about 330e in total. J was a nice fellow but unfortunately the equipment and methods he and his assistant used caused significant damage to the piano cover. anyvan’s policy on claiming for damage is atrocious and I’m trying to arrange a refund now to cover the damage with J. The process is extremely difficult and I would highly recommend against using anyvan.

I cannot recommend this company

I cannot recommend this company.
A contractual time slot was agreed which they failed to honour.
When I countered with a more adequate compensation figure they completely changed the goalpost saying I did not have a pick-up time slot, which is factually incorrect, indeed a lie, and they added this meant they can no longer offer compensation – a cop-out!!

They are totally unclear about what they actually do which is overload their drivers with numerous pick-ups around the country (before my run of Birmingham x2 pickups then drop off in London).. We had to encourage the drivers to stop and have something to eat at approx.. 5.30pm because they had not eaten all day..

At no point was I told this.. that they have several other pick-ups.
My drivers started at 6am (because I asked them) and eventually dropped off my items at 9pm with them having 3 more drops to make before finishing the day and securing some much needed rest.. to then start the same thing all over again the following day.

A stressful and disappointing experience with this company who I would not use again, and who I consider untrustworthy and cannot recommend.

What a shambles

What a shambles. They arranged to pick up a number of items in the UK and bring to Ireland. The driver arrived late and then said he wanted more money to transport the inventory which had been pre agreed. They left without the inventory and the company offered no solutions. And I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded!

After reviewing the case, we note that the original listing and pricing were based on the inventory details provided by you. While a revised rate was negotiated and confirmed by you over the phone, it was not disclosed that additional inventory was stored elsewhere. When the transport partner arrived to collect the items, there was insufficient space to accommodate these extra goods, which necessitated an additional charge.

Given these circumstances, and as the service was affected by undisclosed inventory, the originally agreed fee remains valid.

I can highly recommend this service. Moving is stressful but this took such pressure off. Really efficient service, does what it says it will do! John and his partner were friendly and professional. They have all the equipment and expertise needed.

Anyvan are a pleasure to deal with

I would highly recommend Anyvan. Reece was a pleasure to deal with and I really felt that I had his full attention and support. He found me the best price and the best driver making a a stressful and difficult move much easier. Overall I would rate my experience with Anyvan highly and am very glad that I used them.

I organised collection and delivery…

I organised collection and delivery with any van. Gave them clear instructions and sizes or items to be collected and delivered. They sent two people who had problems with speaking English clearly who arrive 2 hours early and then refused to take the items and left. I wanted to speak to a managers but was not allowed. I rang and asked to be put through to cumstomer services but the phone was not answered at all whilst I waiting 10. Invites for them to answer. This is an awful company. Would not use them at all
