Horrific Customer Service & QC

Horrific Customer Service & QC: I have to echo the sentiment of fellow reviewers regarding the soles being prone to disintegration. My aging father has had his shoes quite literally a few days over the 6-month warranty only to be dismissed by Apex Foot Health Industries' Returns Coordinator Simone Allen and other representatives. Sadly, the shoes were purchased as a gift from his overly generous and unemployed wife with the hopes of addressing his pain.

It is clear to me that my father's inactive lifestyle has not distressed the soles. While he was a marathon runner in his youth, he is now a listless individual wearing shoes with soles that are falling apart. The look is not particularly aspirational for those considering Apex footwear. To summarize, it is simply a poor quality product and clearly the company does not care to address their issues.

I will be researching better products and finding a new orthopedic shoe while with him for Thanksgiving - as he has been vocally distraught over the entire ordeal. I hope this review serves as a warning to anyone considering Apex products.

Spent $250.00 on their orthopedic…02

Spent $250.00 on their orthopedic shoes. 6 months later the soles are coming unglued. The inside where little toe is has holes and gives me blisters. Non skid soles?... I slide on the floors at work all the time. I have to buy new shoes now because the flapping unglued soles keep making me trip. Most money i have ever spent on shoes and totally disappointed and feel cheated by apex.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on the apex website since they offered a coupon. Charged my card, but after 2 weeks no shoes. Tried calling customer service, no answer. Called a different number from the bank charge and they say the companies are separate, not able to help. Write to them on message board, let them know I'm getting in touch with bank, shoes are shipped out, but they block me from message board. The shoes arrived but aren't good. $70 to send back.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service, had shoes less than a year, bottom of the sole broke loose and causes tripping, tried by email and telephone several times to get assistance with this and after 3-4 exchanges I became persona non grata, I bought shoe glue and glued it myself

ordered 2 pairs of sneakers on july 26

ordered 2 pairs of sneakers on july 26, 2022. The order status changed to “shipped“ on aug 4, 2022. Still have not received. Called, left message, no response. E-mailed, no response. Here’s the kicker, theres no way to track the shipment. Hmmm. Never have i not been able to track a shipment. This company seems shady and im pretty sure ive been scammed. Will be reporting them and i guess i will try to dispute this with my credit card. So disappointed. Not a great time for us to be losing money and we still need sneakers. Thanks alot Apex.

Unhappy Customer

Ordered a pair of shoes on June 14 for my husband to wear to our son’s wedding. Called three weeks ago to check on them. Assured me they would look into it and call me back. NO CALL. Terrible customer service. Still no shoes and we are leaving in 5 days. I wish I had read these review earlier and I would have never ordered from this company. Now they aren’t answering the phone. NEVER AGAIN.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I have worn these shoes for years and have been very happy with them, but this time, I ordered a pair on May 18 and have yet to receive them. No response to repeated emails. Finally got a customer service rep who said they would look into it and get back to me. Yeah, right! That was over a week ago and at this point, all I get is leave a message and we'll get back to you. I've filed a dispute with Paypal over merchandise not received. Good product. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Never again.

No shoes and out $100

I ordered very expensive shoes from this company for nursing school. A MONTH after the order my shoes were still not processed or shipped. I'm starting school soon and I still have not received my $100 sneakers. I e-mailed the company and nobody got back to me, I also called several times and was listening to hold music for 30 min after which time it sounded like someone picked up without saying anything and then hung up. You can't even cancel an order on the site without talking to somebody. Now I have no shoes for school and I'm pretty sure I just lost $100 too. I'm wondering if this is even a real company or a scam site that doesn't really have any employees.

This company is awful

This company is awful. No customer service. Returned within time frame and absolutely no response or refund!!! Shoes aren’t comfortable, super heavy and bulky. The return issue is the deal breaker though. They allow you to return but note it has to be within 30 days or no refund so if you aren’t careful you may return shoes which they then keep and you get nothing but out of money!!!

Missing shoes; miserable customer service

I ordered two pairs of shoes 7/4/21. On 7/23 I received one pair with no explanation of the missing pair.

7/23: I sent an online message asking what happened; the message received no response.

7/26: After multiple attempts I was able to reach customer service by phone and was told the missing pair was backordered and would ship 8/1. They didn't.

8/12: Phoned again and was told they were "just in" and would ship the next day (8/13). They didn't.

8/23: Phoned again and was told a shipment had been started (whatever that means) and the shoes would ship "this week." They didn't.

8/31: Phoned yet again and was told the order had been cancelled. Since I had not cancelled the order I asked who had, and if they planned to refund me. I was told I would receive a call back. I didn't.

Customer service has been difficult to reach. An online message received no response, and the phone system, after three minutes on hold requests a message or will automatically disconnect; it has taken multiple calls each time to connect to a live person.

I don't know what has happened to this company. The quality of the one pair of shoes I received was markedly lower than the last shoes I bought from them. And my experience seems to indicate that Apex has a problem with both competence and honesty. The company's current BBB rating is F, a fact I wish I had discovered before I ordered.

Ordered over 6 weeks ago

Ordered over 6 weeks ago, website says they ship within 48 hours. Credit card was charged immediately at ordering. Have sent numerous emails to them, no reply. Got someone on the phone over a week ago (Dawn) and cancelled the order. I asked Dawn to send me an email confirming the cancelled order, she said she would but she did not. Upon looking up the page on their website, my order is still showing as 'waiting to ship'. They flat out lie about when it will ship, don't answer emails, and don't provide any updates on shipping yet charge you right away. I am now disputing the charge on my credit card with my credit card company. I needed these shoes for a job and now I've had to scramble to find them locally. It would have really helped if they just said there would be a delay in shipping before they charged my card.

The only hiking shoe I've been able to…

The only hiking shoe I've been able to find that fits. I need a really wide shoe and Apex makes them. I ordered the wrong size the first time and they accept free returns (they pay for the shipping). I ordered a 1/2 size larger and love them. Search for coupon codes online first - I saved 15%. They also have free shipping.
