Grace Murley has been wonderful from start to finish. I rang to enquire about a Danube river cruise on behalf of my parents, to mark my mum's 80th birthday, and Grace was very patient and incredibly thoughtful in walking me through the various options and pros and cons of both brands, APT and Travel Marvel, and of various cruises. In the end we found one my parents are really excited about. Grace's knowledge gave me and my parents the confidence to book. She's a great asset to your team!

Fears overcome !!!
From leaving home to returning home all went well. The pick up went really well with a good driver and a lovely car.The flights were as expected and we were met at Kolkata airport and taken to our hotel which was brilliant so a good choice by APT. The guides were helpfull and clear in all they told us. In fact they accompanied us on the boat to impart their knowledge. Boat staff could not have done more or been more friendly whilst still being professional. They boat itself was a dream with good size cabins in fact bigger than my bedroom at home. Travelling in Indian cities is worrying and very noisy but the advice of our guides made us reassured. The hotels in both Kolcatta and Varanasi were top notch providing a peacefull haven away from the city noise. Food was varied but with a definate Indian flavour. Would I do this holiday again knowing what I do now ??? The answer is yes !!!!!

Great tour
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Rakesh, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information and we saw some amazing sights. We particularly enjoyed our time at the Amanbagh hotel and would have liked to stay another day so we could sample all it had to offer.
The hotels were all amazing and very luxurious except for the one in Jaipur which was a little dated by comparison.
The cruise on the Ganges was an amazing experience. The crew and staff all did a fantastic job of entertaining and looking after us.
The food, throughout the tour was all of a very high standard.
The whole tour was incredibly well organised but was let down slightly by being a bit disorganised on the last day.

Group was the right size to allow mixing and getting to know each other. Also gave plenty of room on the coach.

New Zealand Wonderland tour 17 Days APT
Excellent tour company very efficient, comfortable coach liked the rotation of seats. Bus driver very knowledgeable, great jokes and lovely guy. Freedom of choice activity's great. Tour Director kept us on track. Accommodation good unable to enjoy facilities as a very busy tour, food good would recommend more flexibility on eating times in the evening, Intense tour up most mornings 6-30am would recommend a leisure day in the middle. Overall would recommend APT look forward to touring with them in the future.

It was a great trip with excellent management over all aspects of the trip. Travel to and from the ship was by British Airways who provided a very poor service and seemed to lack any care for their passemgers.

The level of service from every department on board ship was exceptional. Staff were always cheerful and obliging. Trips were well organised and catered for all levels of mobility. Of course the quality and choice of food has to be mentioned.

Well worth the trip.
I can’t fault the itinerary, quality of the hotels and boat. I travel a lot and felt my trip was excellent value, particularly the upgrade to the owners suite on arrival.
The Director, hotel manager, indeed all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
My only criticism was towards one of the young Cambodia guides whose immaturity on occasions, marred his performance. I highlighted this to the Director to offer guidance and training.

Amazing Essence of New Zealand tour
We did a 20 day Essence of New Zealand. It was amazing and really brought us around to see some wonderful scenery, even if we did have some interesting weather at times. The driver (Laurie) and guide (Matt) were brilliant and sorted out any hiccups quickly and efficiently. Loads of great photos, fantastic memories, new friends and we did so much with great flexibility withe Freedom of Choice options. We just want to go back and do it all again.

Sail on!
We have wanted to do the Douro River cruise for sometime and when an ad appeared in my email with a Black Friday discount I couldn’t resist having a dip!
Hayden answered my call and began to answer my questions. Our conversation soon drifted into a kind of conversation you might have with a friend.
We wanted to tweak either end of the river cruise by staying in Lisbon for 3 nights and then adding another 3 nights on after the cruise in Porto. Heydon had this covered. Apparently guest usually only take an extra night or 2 and he had to do the tweaking to make it 3 nights.
All was explained and we also had a few laughs.
We were so satisfied with the package and service that we said yes.
