I love the high interest rates
I love the high interest rates. The service getting things set up was helpful with a representative calling me and doing it over the phone (unlike some places, where you have to try to do it all online or go somewhere in person). It did take longer than I expected to get my account officially open, and to get linked to accounts at other institutions, but all in all, not too hard to get everything set up. Enough good stuff about this credit union that even though I settled on another one a couple years ago after some research, this one stayed on my mind and as soon as I had a reason, I had to get an account here.

Best Financial Institution Yet
Arapahoe Credit Union has always been very professional, friendly and more than helpful. I have had many banks along with ACU and none of them compare, especially in terms of customer service and security! Banks have hidden fees, hidden terms and in my experience, are more prone to fraudulent charges and vital information "easily" accessible to theives. With ACU, I have never had any issues with Customer Service Representatives or fraudulent charges. I recommend to anybody and everybody, as I will always continue to bank with them, and I will always return!

Great Service and Loan Rates
I have been a member of Arapahoe Credit Union for over 30 years. Their service has alway been friendly and fair. I have used them for checking, savings, credit cards, and loans. Don't pay high fees and interest charges to banks. Credit Unions are best and Arapahoe Credit Union is a great choice.

Great Product and Customer Service
Great Product and Customer Service.
One of my favorite things about Arapahoe Credit Union is the customer service they provide in person and via phone. They answer all of my questions and are prompt in responding when I reach out with issues. Their banking products compete with every bank and credit union that I've ever worked with.
The only draw back i've come across is that the online banking doesn't show pending transactions but they have a solution to that by using the CardNav app that can assist with that. I am looking forward to an update that fixes that quirk so they can be stellar!

We’re always reviewing all aspects of the credit union and looking at areas where we can improve. Your honest feedback helps achieve this. Regarding the pending transactions, we’re looking at our options within online banking, but don’t have a specific timeline. As you stated though, a great alternative solution is the CardNav app.

Great experience!
I was back home recently and I went to go pay my credit card bill at the Arapahoe Credit Union, as I'm a part of the shared branching program. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and answered all my questions. As a non-member, they went above and beyond to help me. I would highly recommend Arapahoe Credit Union if you live in Colorado

nothing but positive experiences
I have been a member of this bank since childhood and have had nothing but positive experiences. Securing a car loan was a very transparent and efficient experience and as I travel a lot the vast network of partner branches makes it very easy for me to bank from anywhere. I have found myself wishing I could deposit checks by photo and I have run into times where I was unable to cash a check that had been signed over to me from another party - and while this is inconvenient, it is understandable and ACU should ultimately be commended on their thoroughness. Your money is in good hands and every step of their process demonstrates that.

I’m glad that your experience at ACU has been mostly positive over the years. We appreciate the honest review. While it doesn’t really help you here, I wanted to let you know the reason we are holding off on remote deposit capture is the risk of a lawsuit. There are a number of court cases going on right now centered on the use of that technology. Until they settle, we don’t want to put our members’ deposits at risk. Hopefully, we’ll be able to offer it soon!

Thank you for your honest review and feedback, Linda! Our objective is to get that five star review you mentioned and will work towards that with you in the future.
That said, I have to, personally, apologize for the website. We have been going through a number of upgrades and changes during recent years and any issues would be, at least in part, on me. Though, I assure you we are correcting any errors and doing everything we can to avoid future problems.
As for being able to contact us, I am sending that feedback on to our executive management. If we need to work on our responsiveness, we absolutely will.

Over all very good treatment and…
Over all very good treatment and service. Especially when my wife was along.
I stopped in one time for info only on CD's and thought the CD person, [not a teller] seemed to be too busy and wanted to get on to something else. I took this as an exception to the otherwise good service.

Ive been a member since '79 or so and I…
Ive been a member since '79 or so and I wanted to cash some checks made out to my mother who is unable to get to the bank. She endorsed the checks over to me but ACU wouldn't cash them. I had more money in each of my 4 accounts to cover them but still no go. Now I have to get a notary public to my Mom's nursing home if I want to cash the checks because my Mom can't travel. Very inconvenient. But I must admit, they have been quite good over the decades. This recent issue just came up today.
