ASBikes products and service is absolutely excellent! My wife and I were keen cycle tourists, but in later years my wife developed rheumatoid arthritis. As a result whilst the muscles free up once moving, getting started on a standard bike was difficult. When we saw the Electrotrike at a show we thought that would be a possibility and after some thought purchased one. It has proved to be absolutely excellent - low step through, brakes on and locked and you can take as long as you want to get onto the seat, release brakes and press the walk assist button to get up to slow walking speed and start pedalling - and you're off! Similarly no need to get off when stopped at traffic lights etc. My wife can now do 15 miles easily and feels much better for it. The folding wheel design make it easy to transport (it and the two wheeled one fit in the back of a Suzuki Vitara). The trike has been to a number of Scottish Islands, along cycle routes etc. The seat post and front suspension make it very comfortable indeed - and the same is true for the two wheeled ElectroBike (very rare in folding bikes which really need it because of the smaller wheel size making them more prone to being uncomfortable on rough road surfaces). The after sales service has been excellent - when we've needed advice or spare parts (which they keep for many many years) there has been no problem at all - very friendly and attentive service. Great products and great service.

This a family owned company and have an amazing reputation for their Customer Service. Their products are excellent and they are always on hand through email or phone if you have a problem. Would highly recommend.

I have had my Electrobike now for many years and it is set up to ferry my two dogs to their walks. So when the throttle mechanism went faulty I contacted Sam for advice. Peter responded with my options and I chose to replace it with a new unit, sent to me within 48 hours. With comprehensive instructions from Peter I carried out the repair and within a week I am back using it. Great service, lovely people to do business with as always. Long may you be there for us.

Needed a replacement 36 volt battery for my electric bike. AS Bikes were most helpful in providing me with a new battery. Additionally they have provided fitting instructions. We have been dealing with AS Bikes for a number of years and have always been impressed with their personable service. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Have not received my scooter yet as only ordered two weeks ago. However, we trialed it at the Malvern show and we’re extremely impressed with the design and Manoeuverability . Initially drove one owned by a member (Phil). at the show. He enthused about it, demonstrated and sent me off! We then looked for the stand! Buying was easy, deposit paid and now waiting with bated breath for my new ride. Must remember to order the “flight” battery. You never know if you might need to fly home for an emergency. Need to find a cover too. But I’m sure I’ll get help with that.

Ordered and received the mobility scooter back in June after visiting the stand at Club Fest 2024 in Shrewsbury. My rental scooter was really struggling with the terrain (wet and muddy) so I decided to place an order as soon as we got home. Sam and the team have been fabulous. Fitted foot bars for no additional cost and after having a small issue with one of the mudguards (my wife caught it on her heel whilst dragging behind her; completely our fault), Sam offered and provided a replacement, again for no additional cost. I can not praise them enough and the scooter has allowed me to join my family on dog walks that I have previously been unable to do. This has enhanced my life no end and I can confirm, the scooter really is robust. I have taken it on walks and along paths and gradients that other mobility scooters would be unable to cope with. I also purchased the aircraft "friendly" lower capacity battery as we intend on taking it on European and Australasia holidays in the near future. This really has been a game changer for me and the scooter is capable of pretty much going anywhere. Thank you AS Bikes for excellent service and a quality product!

1st class service. I am very pleased with my disability scooter, very sturdy and the battery last very well. Folds up in seconds and with a little help can get it in the boot without too much trouble

Every time we have needed any help, for spares or even a puncture A.S have come up trumps. Quick to respond and quick to solve any issues.

Sent an email query about broken throttle on my electrobike received a reply very quickly and that it could be replaced and as I live nearby it could be done same day.
Took it in around midday and was completed within an hour.
Very impressed with service it was a similar experience last time I had a problem with bike.
Cannot fault it.

Fantastic small but sturdy scooter. Folds easily and fits in the boot without having to dismantle anything. Lovely family business and great service. I've emailed a few times and have had some lovely replies from Sam. Always helpful and quick to respond. Great getting some independence back too. Thank you.

Travelled over 1.5 hours to try out one of these bike after being told to come back this weekend to find out they don’t communicate to each other the part needed or tools needed were not bought to the show. What a waste of time and money.
I’m sorry but you didn’t have the correct parts available to fit. Peter said he would try fitting a different size derailleur, I’m not sure this would helped as both legs would have been effected and not just the right leg, AND we had been already waiting a very long time.
If you promise to have something ready for someone on a specific date then that should be there waiting.

But I guess you don’t need or want customers with your very rude reply on here

Go to a show if you can. Great bikes ( you can try one out) Lovely people. Any maintenance issue is responded to with practical advice and help. ( unlike the majority of firms who immediately imply it’s your fault)

My old AS e-bike broke down on holiday, after a quick call to AS Bikes managed to drop the bike off, had it repaired and courier back home. Excellent service from AS Bikes as usual

AS 26" Bike.
As a 65year old who has been using cycling to keep fit for the last 12 years I was surprised to find that Angina was the cause of my loss of form on the bike, especially on our Devon hills.
My AS bike has allowed me to continue the sport I love but to control the effort to a safe level using a heart rate monitor.
I find using medium power and changing gear is a good approximation of my former ability.
Not tried it yet but I'm sure high power with the twist grip throttle would be great for commuting or shopping.
Overall I am very pleased with the bike and the service from AS bikes.

I had a minor issue with my bike, I contacted AS and within 24hours I had a response from Sam. A new part was posted free of charge.

Honestly I can't fault the sales and aftershaves service.
I definitely recommend this company to anyone who is seeking to buy an Electrobike 100%.

Missing a small part recently, as usual they were so brilliant. Immediately posting me the part FOC. Dealt with them for many years and cannot fault their service or products. Wish there were more companies giving such faultless service
