Firstly, I'd like to say that my experience was an overall good one. Please note that my experience might not mirror everyday business, as the particular battery I was ordering isn't a common one.

After my initial order, I had originally thought I was being misled, as the PayPal information didn't seem to match the website, however, I received an email confirming my order, which helped settle my nerves. I only mention this so that others are aware, in advance. If you purchase through PayPal, you will see it process through a Chinese name, that doesn't resemble the website name.

I had originally thought that the website's listing of my item being in-stock meant that it would ship from Australia. The email I had received, which gave my order's tracking number, mentioned local shipping taking 2-6 days, and gave me a tracking number for "Fastway," which is-- as I understand it-- the old name of a courier service, which was bought out in 2016, and now operates under the name "Aramex"...??? Feeling a bit confused and impatient about it, I received an email, requesting a review about my experience. At this point, I was in the dark, with inaccurate shipping information, and no clear tracking of my order, so I will admit that it was a bit harsh. After reading through other reviews, I discovered that AustraliaBattery.com has multiple warehouses, and that (likely due to how uncommon my battery type is) my order was more likely shipping from China, instead of being in Australia. That wasn't a big deal, but it did mean I would be waiting a bit longer than I was hoping to, so I waited patiently.

A few days later, I received an email about my review, from Amy, at AustraliaBattery. There was a bit of confusion as-to why I hadn't received confirmation of delivery, and she had provided a screenshot of tracking information, which showed my order as waiting at my local post office. As it would turn out, I wasn't able to track my order because while the tracking number was correct, the reported shipping courier wasn't. I was relieved to have been made aware of this fact, and was able to confirm that my battery had, indeed, arrived at my local post office. In addition, when coming to update my review, I also came to realize that my battery had actually shipped from Australia-- so, while I was prepared to wait for 3 weeks, it took only two, to arrive to Tassie! :-D

After everything is said and done, apart from the order tracking email not providing the accurate courier info, I'm more than pleased with my purchase. I commend the customer service for reaching out to me like they had, as I otherwise wouldn't even have known my order had arrived, and would've assumed the worst. Thanks, again, to Amy, for following up with me! :-)

Update to this review.
The issue was NEVER resolved and I was forced to purchase batteries from a more reputable supplier selling actual factory produced batteries.
Numerous emails to solve this problem were not answered. There was no satisfactory end to this sale. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RETAILER.

We ordered 6 RRC2054-2 batteries from this company. The web site indicates it has a warehouse in Australia, but our order came from China. The product is advertised as an original battery however when the product arrived, despite it looking like it was original, none of the batteries would charge. Once we had established beyond doubt that it was the batteries, not the chargers at fault, we went back to this company who refused to accept that all batteries were faulty. They offered us a 50% refund which we rightfully refused. From this point the company has not responded on the issue. We have emailed them and also left a message via the website contact us page in case we ended up in the spam folder. We suspect that the batteries are not original batteries and as such will not charge with original RRC compliant chargers - hence these batteries are useless to us.
At this point in time, my view is this is not a good company to purchase from. That could change if they respond to my complaint and work with me to solve it. At this point its not working.

Australia Battery was the only source of a replacement battery identical to the old one. Delivery was fast and the product as described.

I am happy with the notebook battery that I received

The good : The battery is good quality and fits well.

The bad : the name says Australia Battery but the item was not in Australia. If I knew this at the time I placed the order, I would have chosen another company. It took over a week to be put in the post, and then another 2 weeks to arrive to Canberra

The battery seems good so far!

Many thanks to Australiabattery who arranged for the manufacture of a new battery for my Kogan Ultraslim Pro when one was no longer available. Once installed it has worked perfectly.
In fact, better, as it is a larger battery size so will last longer.
It is also about 2/3 of the size so makes the laptop a bit lighter.
Very happy with their excellent service and customer service. They could have easily said "no longer available" but went the extra mile to get one made for me. Cannot get any better service than that.
