It felt really smooth and easy, she was very patient with me and explained the questions I didn't understand the meaning of in a simple understandable manner and all the tention I had from the fact that I am being assessed, just disappeared. Initial Autism screening
I really enjoyed talking to Claudia, I thought about my answers carefully and honestly. She made me feel at ease when thinking about how to answer. I was told about what to do going forward and I wasn’t obligated to do anything. I had some notes prepared as I didn’t know what to expect but I didn’t need to use them. I would have preferred to use them more than having questions because I think it would have made me feel more understood.

I had the pleasure of a initial assessment with Claudia Dunning
I had the pleasure of a initial screening with Claudia, regarding my son who has been currently on a waiting list for over a year and a half. I reached out to a few organisations that offer autism/asd assessments as my son isnt not coping. Many traits for autism and adhd can be quite difficult where you confirm in your mind diagnostic route to take. I have thought for a long time my son is on the spectrum for autism but adhd did lead me to have some confusion at times. Having had a chat as going through the questions, Claudia was very helpful as we all have our own quirks/traits, she totally understood and reassured me that the autism assessment was advised regarding my son and we will recieve a report feedback within the next week. I am currently waiting, anxious to see this in writing to understand the process.
Just to acknowledge Claudia was very understanding, really helped to feel relaxed while answering any of the questions.

So i had my second assessment on the Wednesday and had a very positive experience. We had Internet issues which is always unsettling however it was dealt with brilliantly.
