It is immediately apparent how much Faria knows about autism through her lived experience.
I attended in a large group, Faria kept everyone engaged and took numerous questions in her stride.
I have attended a number of similar courses over the years but Faria felt more understanding of the situations parents find themselves in and her answers and examples were easy to understand and relevant.
I would recommend attending for any parent or carer for so wine with autism.

I previously attended a toilet training workshop and a behavioural workshop hosted by Faria. She is really professional and the workshops were very informative. My 3 year old has recently been diagnosed as autistic. I had no prior knowledge of ASD and how to deal with certain issues, and toilet training issues with him. Faria was so welcoming and such a kind hearted soul. She answered any questions we had in the group and gave us first hand advice of her experience with her two SEN daughters. She is also there for you after the workshop and are able to contact her about any concerns.

Myself and my team attended a workshop on toilet training for children and adults with SEND.

Faria presents the information in an accessible and engaging manner-and really took time to check in with participants that they have understood a concept before moving on. We appreciated how she set the session out in a clear methodical manner, with slides and resources to under pin our learning.

The resources to support the session, along with the book are brilliant- and again- are engaging, accessible and informative in a manner that is not overwhelming.

Faria is very open with her own experiences, which I feel really encourages people to be open and reflect on theirs, this really adds to the session and develops the learning further.

We really appreciated the time took by Faria to really make us reflect and draw on our own experiences when considering how these methods could support others, or our own children. It really made us all think, and consider things from a brand new perspective.

Extremely knowledgeable and engaging presenter. Faria understands her topics and the needs of parents and children with autism/SEND. I would definitely recommend attending a course to increase your own understanding whether you are a parent or professional working with SEND individuals.

I am a professional working in the field of neurodiversity and behaviours that challenge. I attended a training event delivered by the organisers. The training was very good for parents who have a neuro diverse child giving them tips and tools on how to manage various situations. I would recommend it for parents.

I am a mother to a three year who has recently been diagnosed with additional learning needs. Whilst I initiated and sought support for my child very early on, our journey hasn’t always been easy. Having a child with ALN can often leave parents, carers feeling very isolated and in a state of constantly defending their child’s behaviours. Often due to a lack of awareness surrounding the diversity and unique beautiful characteristics some children are blessed with. These obstacles I have occurred have led me to research and participate in many amazing support groups within Wales, allowing me to meet other parents who have similar experiences. However, it was via an online forum that I was introduced to Faria and her fantastic book!!! After reading about Faria’s own personal experiences and discovering her wealth of knowledge that she has on autism and other challenging behaviours I was keen to learn more from her. To my delight Faria facilitates a course based around toilet training autistic children/adults also suitable for other challenging behaviours. On discovering Faria was delivering a course in Birmingham I decided to enrol in her workshop and meet her in person, hoping to get some much needed advice. I’m so happy I made the decision to go, the course was absolutely amazing!!!! The content was very thorough and easy to understand, sparred of any unnecessary jargon! I took away excellent tips from both Faria and other participants. Echoing some of the previous comments, I would highly recommend this particular toilet training course alongside purchasing the book! I am looking forward to attending the other course Faria delivers, hopefully gaining a deeper insight into autism. Additionally, I traveled from Cardiff to Birmingham for this particular course due to the uniqueness of it. Thank you Faria x

I gave birth in Lockdown to my first child, as time progressed I noticed ASD signs in my child. I had 0 support or knowledge on the matter and because of covid there was no help and when the world did return back to normality there was a huge backlog of waiting lists which meant 12 months plus to even receive help. Im writing a back story because I want everyone to understand how AMAZING Faria has been from the minute I met her and how she sympathised and understood my whole situation with my daughter. She was so understanding and caring and the fact that she's always a message away ready to help, you do NOT get many people like that. I have attended two workshops with her and they have been fantastic and life changing. Honestly from the bottom of my heart and prayers I love this lady a lot and I cannot compliment ger enough. If I met her right at the beginning of my child's autism journey I would have not worried or shed the tears I did. Faria is an Angel is disguise.

I have attended this workshop to enhance my knowledge as a professional, in hindsight I am so pleased I did, as I learned quite a bit about how to recognise possible early signs of autism and the challenges of looking after children with autism. It was very insightful as parents of children with autism gave useful on the ground information and advice on how they overcome the various challenges of children with autism, moreover Faria herself has campaigned about autism awareness from her own intrinsic experience which is very refreshing. What stood out for me was at the end of the workshop Faria mentioned that those parents that need any help or advice be it for the child or even for the school that to contact her and she would do all she could to help and not to suffer in silence, it was very reassuring to hear. I am sure to attend future seminars and workshops to further enhance my understanding and learning.

Faria has a wealth of knowledge that she is happy to share with people willing to learn. Her approach is friendly and loving, just like a member of the family.
Faria truly understands what you are going through and wants to help as much as she can.
