Quick, thorough & informative

Price to complete a Level 2 survey for a house I intend to purchase seemed comparatively reasonable. Easy enough to book and person in the office was friendly and efficient. Surveyor turned up when he said he would and 'my sellers' said that he was pleasant and professional and put them at ease. Report was comprehensive and easy to understand. All in all, a good experience and happy to recommend.

We found Adam to be extremely knowledgeable and thorough when carrying out the survey on the property we intend to buy. Despite the house having been vacant for some time and no relevant documents being available, he conducted the inspection with great care. He also took the time afterwards to reassure us by explaining in more detail the issues he had identified during the survey that we were concerned about. We would have no hesitation in recommending Avery.

Awesome. My experience with both the Admin staff and the surveyor Karl was excellent. Everything was done in a friendly and professional manner. Karl rang me the day before he was scheduled to inspect the property to find out if I had any concerns about the property. The inspection report was sent to me promptly, a day after the inspection. I decided to contact Avery Surveys for a Level 2 Home Buyers Survey after reading their numerous 5 star reviews. From first contact to the completion of the survey the team were professional, very helpful and kept us fully informed throughout the process. Even when the initial survey had to be cancelled at the last minute due to heavy snow, we were contacted straight away and an alternative date was rearranged for the following week within a couple of hours. Adam, our Surveyor, kept us fully up to date regarding the survey, discussing our requirement for several particular issues we were aware of to be carefully looked at. On the day of the survey, Adam phoned to let us know he was on site and reconfirmed the issues we requested he look closely at. We received the report within 5 working days as promised and found it to be very thorough and easy to understand, highlighting a number of red and amber flagged issues, some of which we were aware of and some of which we weren’t. The report has proved extremely useful in helping us get a good understanding of the condition of the property and having discussed the report with Adam over the phone, he was able to provide a number of good quality photographs of the issues raised which helped put our minds at ease regarding some of the issues and helped to get some repairs carried out by the owners.
Overall, I feel the survey was money well spent, and the service we received from Avery was first class. I would thoroughly recommend them for carrying out a Level 2 Home Buyers survey.
