Une arnaque
Une arnaque. Rien ne se passe comme prévu. Montre commandée et payée. Plus d’un mois et toujours pas de livraison. La montre est bloquée en douane et pas moyen d’avoir des nouvelles. Le service client aux abonnés absents.
Bref je vous déconseille d’acheter sur ce site.

Les prix affichés ne sont pas TTC comme la règlementation l'exige quand on vend pour la France, il n'y a même pas de petite mention qui précise que c'est du HT.
J'ai déjà envoyé un dossier à la répression des fraudes et je vous encourage à faire de même.

Bought two watches from this company both packed at approx 1 year mark. Took them in person to their approved repair shop and told they were both repaired. They both packed in again.

Don't Get it Wet
I purchased this watch about six weeks ago and have worn it, maybe ten times. I happened to turn it over today and noticed some rust stains around the edge of the back. I tried to rub it from the stainless steel but to no avail. I contacted AVI-8 and sent the attached photo and their reply was that "it can typically arise due to prolonged exposure to moisture, which could be from excessive sweating or direct contact with water".
Well, I'm sure my wrist sweats to some extent, but I'm not aware of ever over-sweating, and given that the watch claims to be waterproof to 50m, surely it's designed to have direct contact with water! This reminds me of the Only Fools and Horses sketch where Del gives Rodney a waterproof diving watch but "best not get it wet". There would appear to be a fault with their production, their is certainly a fault with their customer service.
Buyer beware - poor quality and dreadful customer service.
I wish I'd read these reviews before buying. I bought a dual time watch recently for a trip but quickly found it would just stop randomly throughout the day. It seems like a poor crown design. I contacted avi-8 customer service but they were no help. I now have a lemon of a watch fit for the trash

Bon....free shipping = faux, 3 semaines apres avoir recus la montre tu recois un bills de 55$. Le bracelet en cuire se detruit au lavage. Le cadran semble en plastic. Made in china...oh oui.
I have three that I bought on clearance…
I have three that I bought on clearance from The Bay (CDN retail store) and I liked the look, the feel was not premium but for what I paid, they were alright, but the timekeeping is a joke on these, I lost up to 5 mins a day. My Invicta automatic dive watch only loses maybe a minute or two a month. So not sure what bargain basement movement they're using but they can keep them.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service - claim they can't deliver and I can't get ANY information about them because of that idiotic app, Shop.com!! Won't buy ANY products from ANY manufacturer that uses Shop.com!! and wonder if I'll EVER get my watch!!
Avoid this company
I saved up to buy an automatic wind watch. The reviews are all good on their own web page. The watch gains time a 5 mins a day. The customer service are not interested. the warrantee is useless. Avoid buying from this crap company!

J’ai acheté deux montres
J’ai acheté deux montres en 2022 sur un délai de 15 jours.
Délai de livraison impeccable et packaging correct.
Mais comme beaucoup de critique lues ici , j’ai eu deux fois à payer des frais de douanes un mois plus tard de l’ordre de 65€, ce qui refroidit un peu l’engouement pour en acheter d’autres.
Attention aux fraix de douane !
- Une montre achetée à plus de 200 € et 2 mois après reçu une facture de frais de douane à 60 € !?
QUELLE HONTE SHAME AVI-8, I regret my purchase.
- Le site n'avertit pas ses clients de ça et vous dis frais de livraison offert...

I don't even want to give 1 star, they are so bad they deserve zero. My son ordered 2 watches, they arrived at FedEx in the UK, who seem to have been unable to deliver them but you can't get any help from FedEx to resolve. Avi-8 provided zero assistance. And now the watches are on the way back to China apparently! Zero stars for customer service. Now he will have to wait on a full refund!!
Friend regrets it, I've heard enough
My friend has a huge interest in aviation and got one of their models apparently it kept breaking and having to be sent back 2 times - best joke is they didn't even bother returning it after it was sent in the 2nd time
I can't remember anything about which one he got; I don't understand anything nor care about watches but had to write this and make sure everyone's aware!
UK Consumer Rights Breach
This company is in breach of UK consumer rights, and they refuse to accept it. If you purchase a watch from them, be aware that they will ignore your consumer rights and refuse to accept any responsibility under UK law.
My watch broke within the 6 month warranty of ownership, and I spent 9 months going through Avi-8's recommended repair services, to no avail. The watch was professionally repaired 3 times and returned to me. Each time it was returned, it malfunctioned again.
Avi-8 offered to replace the watch, however I no longer had any confidence in the quality of their timepieces and requested a refund. Under UK Consumer Rights law, consumers are entitled to a full refund for faulty devices - however Avi-8 refuse to accept this responsibility.
After many emails and legal letters pointing out their breach of UK consumer rights, they have stopped responding to me.
I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing their timepieces. They are of poor quality and when something goes wrong, they refuse to accept that they are legally responsible to resolve the issue.
