So after ten days i finally got the bag i ordered, but backpackingforever got the color wrong. But after reading the others reviews i feel lucky for just getting something. I wish i had read the the reviews before ordering from backpackingforever!!

Warte seit 3 Monaten auf eine Antwort, wegen nicht gelieferter Bestellung. Ich komm beim Kundendienst nicht durch und meine erstellten Tickets werden anscheinend immer gelöscht. Kann nur abraten hier zu bestellen!

I ordered a baby carry backpack and checked Trust Pilot reviews afterwards. I was chocked to see the reviews, and expected that my money was wasted. Fortunately I read that the company had changed payment structure and the fact that I paid by PayPal made it a bit comforting. So my money was not withdrawn until the package was sent off. However, shipping is a bit slow and they write they send it by DHL, but mine was sent by regular mail. No problem but I expected a track and trace number, so was still a bit concerned until the package arrived. It was shipped in a huge used cardboard box, but the item was undamaged. I ordered a red backpack, which was confirmed on my invoice but the backpack I received was grey. Not a big deal considering the reviews here on Trust Pilot. I also managed to get a discount, where you enter a specific code upon ordering the product.

When I log in I also need some more information on my order. Once it was placed I could not see my order any longer, making me worried if I had wasted my money.

I hope everybody will get the products that they have ordered and that Backpackingforever will improve on their information to the customers and keep their promises as to what they write on their website.

Mein letztes Mail (das ca. 5te) vom 15.01.2014 wurde bis heute, 20.01.2014 wieder nicht beantwortet!!! Das nennt man Kundenservice?

Ordered gaiters and dryback just before X-mas. Received the goods at the beginning of January. Dryback was different color than ordered, but further all was ok.
Shipping box was reused shoe box, delivery was made by DHL GoGreen.
Maybe the take over and restructuring of the Backpackingforever.de store has improved the service. The future will tell.

Entgegen der hier vorherrschenden Erfahrungen klappte bei mir alles bestens und innerhalb weniger Tage, die angegebene Lieferzeit wurde deutlich unterschritten, die Ware entspricht der Beschreibung, die Verpackung wirkt zwar etwas unprofessionell - ein Schuhkarton mit ruppiger Vergangenheit - war jedoch zweckmäßig und unbeschädigt.

Since my order and payment for 2 pairs of Scarpa shoes in early August 2013, I received 1 pair of shoes 5 weeks after the order and as at 13 Jan 2014, I have yet to receive the other pair OR receive a refund, despite numerous emails to BackpackingForever.
To be informed after placing the order & making payment for both pairs of shoes that 1 pair was not yet available is a deceptive business practice (something that Amazon does not practice).
In general, BackpackingForever have demonstrated that they are unreliable, deceptive, overcharge on the currency conversions, use automated reply emails instead of a personal email from an individual, take way too long to deliver the goods that have been purchased (if they deliver at all), do not inform the customer if the goods are in stock or available and accept payment for the goods even if the goods are not in stock or unavailable.
I am still trying to get them to either send me the goods I have paid for OR refund my money - both of which they seem reluctant to do, that alone communicate with me personally about the dispute.
I would highly recommend NOT BUYING from BackingForever.

Jeg bestilte varer hos BFE den 2. juli 2013.
Den 21. juli fik jeg en venlig mail fra Maximilian Heye (Max@Backpackingforever.de), som gav besked om, at en del af leverancen var i restordre, og om jeg ville vente på hele ordren eller have en dellevering. Jeg valgte at vente på hele ordren, og det er måske min fejl - ellers havde jeg (måske) haft en del af varerne, som jeg har betalt i alt 634,72 kroner (85,09 euro) for.
Siden har jeg intet hørt fra BFE eller Maximilian - andet end selvfølgelig automatsvaret "Vielen Dank für ihre Email. Anfragen via Email werden Werktags innerhalb von 48 Stunden beantwortet" fra kundenservice@backpackingforever.de
Så vidt jeg kan se, så er der bag den meget lækkert udførte hjemmeside intet at komme efter!
Bliv væk fra BFE og lad være med at spilde dine penge her, sådan som jeg gjorde.

After a long list of trouble I can only recommend not to buy anything from BFE:

- Ordered three items but BFE could not deliver the full order.
- Shipping fee was added even though the website said free shipping for the order amount.
- All money were withdrawn right away (including items that could not be delivered).
- When BFE realized that they could not deliver the full order, they by mistake refunded all money.
- BFE ask me to pay the money once again for the items received (which is of course fair). They do this by placing a new order but this time the shipping fee is twice of my original order (which was suppose to be free).
- I contact BFE and explain the misunderstanding with the double shipping fee. I pay the money for the items received.
- I get confirmation from BFE that they have received the money, but they still need for the shipping. I explain once again that the double shipping fee is a misunderstanding. I hear no more from BFE.
- Two months later I receive a letter from Inkasso Company charging me the full order including additional ~100 euro fine.
- Now, three months after I placed my original order, I still haven't got confirmation that the case is closed.

Ordered, payed but nothing received. Tried contacting them by phone on all available phone numbers but none of these worked. Mailed them, but only received automated answers - never, ever trade with this company. Six months after ordering I still haven't received the goods I ordered and I have not had the money returned either.

Quasiment impossible de téléphoner avec eux. Le vendeur Thomas est une catastrophe.Et depuis septembre j'attend encore mes coinceurs et avec tout ça j'ai déjà reçu 2 colis et des frais d'envois supplémentaires

Kurz, Ware Kinderwagen mit Zubehör Mitte August bestellt, nach unzähligen Mails Kinderwagen nach fast 3 Monaten geliefert in der falschen Farbe, restliches Zubehör nach weiteren Wochen nicht lieferbar. Nach unzähligen Interventionen per Mail (werden nur teilweise beantwortet) und Telefonanrufen (Einmal auf 20x erreichbar) Restbetrag rückerstattet. Die Firma verspricht und hält nichts. Nie mehr!!

Har i 1½ måned nu forsøgt at få mine penge retur efter at jeg aldrig har modtaget en vare fra dem. Jeg har haft skrevet til dem, hvor jeg en gang har fået svar: Selvom jeg har bedt om at få ordren annulleret svarede de at de ville sende varen hurtigst muligt. Jeg har ikke modtaget eller hørt fra dem siden, trods flere forsøg.

Don't ever bye from this site. Made order in early november. They took the money the same day, but I have never received my order. I am not able to contact them on either mail or telephone.

And they even try to hide their reviews on Trustpilot and other sites.

I ordered 2 packs. It was strange that they were shipped by 2 different parcels with a week between shipments. But both received successfully within reasonable time.
BFE staff comunication was not excellent but satisfactory.

Tilasin takin 11.10. Koskaan se ei tullut. Kyselyhin sain vain automaattivastauksia eikä puheluihin vastattu. Onneksi sain rahani eilen takaisin koska maksoin visalla. Ainoa positiivinen asia oli suomenkieliset sivut.

One of the items where delivered after some time but for the second item I got an email which said that they where out of stock and my money for this item would be refunded. 6 days later the 30th of October I emalied them and told them that no money had been refunded. Maximilian Heye answered the day after and told me that I would have the money back within a week. Now almost 4 weeks later, still no money has been refunded and mails have not been answered.
So please stay away from them! They are not trustworthy and there business are a scam!

I bought a jacket from the web store, payed immediately and received the jacket a week and a half later. a bit long time to wait, but alright; I got it.
It turns out that the jacket is to big, so I filled in the formula for returning the jacket, and sent it back. Two weeks later i hadn't gotten any answer from them, so I called them, but no one answered. I wrote an email, and no one answered. I have now been calling and writing them for a month now, without getting any kind of answer from them.
I'm afraid I lost $365 (2000,-DKK).
Never shop here!

Lieferzeit von bis zu 9 Tagen nicht eingehalten, Ware für Urlaub benötigt, deshalb storniert. Ware kam dann in meinem Urlaub trotzdem. Nach Versand-Email sofort Kundenservice kontaktiert, dieser versprach Erstattung sobald die Ware eingegangen war. Jetzt warte ich seit 3 Wochen auf mein Geld, Kundenservice reagiert nicht. Rechtsschutz ist eingeschaltet.
