Love my new 4k cctv but there are a few niggles with things that don't seem to work as you think they should. The most annoying was the time kept reverting to 1 hour fast every time I changed it and clicked save. A simple message sent to Bascom had them log in and change it for me, no hassle problem solved. I have no idea why GMT is called NTP but it worked!

Quick telephone call answered all my questions, wanting to mix different cameras on differed MCB’s on outhouses (but on same electric meter). Proforma appeared….order placed….just awaiting the cameras now 👍

My original 1* review below was based on my dreadful experience caused mostly by Brexit and UPS but as stated, had it been made clear I was dealing with a company outside of the UK I would not have made the purchase. The review grabbed the attention of the Managing Director who called me to apologise and discuss how things can be improved going forward. I believe he will take on board the constructive criticism and make changes regarding more transparent information on the website and the problems incurred with returning items outside the UK. For that reason I have revised my opinion of the company and they now get 4 stars.

Not aware I was dealing outside the UK, company is not in Birmingham as suggested on the website, but the Netherlands. Ordered a system for almost £1k as it looked really good. UPS delivery was a nightmare, spent ages on the phone trying to find out when it would come. It was still in the airport the day it was allegedly coming! After 3 hours could get no image on the screen and then found that to get the images on the phone remotely you have to either have the recorder and screen right next to your router (not an option) or SPEND ANOTHER £49 ON A WIRELESS ANTENNA!!!! Really? No mention of that next to the images of phones on the website. Given all the problems we decided to cut and run and return them. That was another nightmare thanks to UPS and the fact that they were going back not to Birmingham but the Netherlands! Another half an hour on the phone trying to get collection booked and a load of printer ink used to print off TEN pages of paperwork covered in barcodes and QR codes for the return! A wholly unpleasant and time consuming exercise. Had I known they were a Dutch company I would not have purchased. Luckily the monitor we purchased was returnable!

October and I revised back to one star. I had a call on Sept 29th as they realised they had double refunded, something we had not noticed at the time. I told him we would pay it back but not immediately due to limits on the card. Having taken FOUR MONTHS to notice I think harassing me again on the phone a week later is a bit rich! He has just called me again followed by an email claiming he is not harassing me. He should maybe concentrate more on the financial side and less on chasing up bad reviews!

I thought I was missing a power adaptor with the PoE switch I had bought. Johan at customer services responded very quickly to my email causing me to check in the right place(!), whereupon I found it. Doh! My fault, and all rapidly sorted because of the very quick response.
