I was struggling to find something nice and slightly different for mum on Mother's Day and in me google search Batenburgs popped up. I have used once before and was happy with the purchase and again this time round another great gift for mum on Mother's Day, well packaged, received in time. Keep up the great work Batenburgs.

The products were lovely and really good quality.
Unfortunately what we ordered isn't what we got. I ordered a live plant and chocolate hamper and added some extra chocolates. The real plant was replaced with artifical flowers in a jar that were lovely, but not what I ordered.
It was also delivered on the wrong day. I specifically asked for it to be delivered on a Thurs as the recipient was away until then. I received an email from courier to say it had been picked up and on its way on the Monday. I emailed the company who assured me it had been put aside for Thurs delivery. This was incorrect, it was delivered on the Monday, left on a doorstep until the recipient got home on Thurs. I am thankful it wasn't stolen!

The parcel arrived in excellent time but I was disappointed in the presentation of the box and the items inside. A large box was used for very few items which made it look empty and the products were thrown about inside which made it look messy. I appreciate that you are being eco friendly with the wood curls but they were shoved to one side and falling out of the box. This was supposed to be a special treat and I would not a gift box from Batenburgs again when there are much better options available. Presentation is very important.
