My experience with BAUM Guitars has been outstanding! I now proudly own five BAUM guitars, and each one reflects exceptional craftsmanship, beautiful design, and remarkable attention to detail. You can really feel the passion behind these instruments. My latest addition, the stunning Vega, has exceeded all my expectations. Although the wait was long, the result was absolutely worth it. BAUM is a truly special guitar maker, and I couldn't be happier!

The guitar I ordered (Baum Vega Carve) was a pre-order, so I was expecting it to be delivered in September / October 2026, and that's when it arrived. I was kept informed through all of the stages of the build process so it was easy to keep track

Baum reviews often mention the quality versus the price point, and the Carve very much lives up to this reputation. The materials and finish are every bit as good as a Gibson SG at three times the price - and it plays just as well, too. Maybe better. This is the first time that I have owned a guitar that I can actually feel makes me a better player, and I have guitars from Gretsch, Ovation, Yamaha, Epiphone and Faith - all devent quality for similar price points as the Baum.

The service is great too - I had an issue where I thought the pick guard had a defect, but it turns out it was me being daft - there were two layers of protective film, and I had only removed one. The team at Baum recognised the issue and showed me how to sort it (it was fitted so well that it was hard to find the edge!)

I have seen other reviews moan about delays. These guitars ship from Indonesia to Denmark for QC and set up, and there is a war going on affecting the Strait of Hormuz - the exact shipping lane these guitars go through. What are they expecting?

Final summary - buy a Baum guitar. You won't regret it.

First of all, my experience with Baum from ordering to delivery is really good. It took exactly one week from ordering, set-up in Denmark to delivery in the Netherlands, just as I was told. Most important: the guitar! I do love it but I didn't give it 5 stars. I've ordered a B-stock model. There's a little cut in the binding under the 22nd fret bass-side as if the saw has gone 3millimeters to far. Also a little ding in the binding at the 14th fret. No influence on playability or sound if you ask me. Set-up was not perfect. Fretting the G, B and E string on the first fret made it rattle and produced no 'clear' tone. A little adjustment to the trussrod solved the issue. I have to admit, it took me a week or so to get used to the guitar. Not to the looks though! Really great, colour, hardware, shape: it's simply a beauty. Except maybe for the volume and tone knobs, they look and feel a bit cheap. But most important: I keep playing it every day! The neck feels perfectly well, the Bigsby (I have no experience with these trems) is working fine and the guitar stays in tune perfectly. I don't know how to describe the sound: it's clear but not sharp. It certainly has that hollowbody woody sound and to me very versatile to serve many styles. I also had to get used to the sound but I did fall in love with it! And lets be honest: the albums you like the most are often the ones you have play a couple of times before it hits you. For me it's the same with this guitar. I'm gonna keep on playing it for sure!

There is some doubts about buying a guitar with no distributor in US and without trying something similar. What I was interested because is different than other guitars but it seemed very high quality. I had some doubts that were clarified by mail. And because I liked too much the guitar (my first asymmetrical) and the good reviews in Youtube I decided to buy it. I have to wait some months because I chose the Wingman 10th anniversary. The guitar arrived in excellent condition, was very well packaged. The set was perfect. The guitar also is beautiful. I am very happy with my purchase and the service of Baum

Due to circumstances beyond their control I had to wait a bit longer for the arrival of the Wingman 10th Anniversary Edition but the moment I struck the first note I immediately knew that every second waiting for The Wingman was a second well spent. The guitar arrived perfectly adjusted at my house and felt like she had been played on for years. Great tone, comfortable balance, smooth neck and a gorgeous sexy design... she will be seen on stage with my band Isle of Men playing our latest album 'The Soul Of Kindness'. This is the start of a lifelong love affair... congrats, you are making fabulous guitars that can compete with the best brands or even beat them... humble regards Dirk Fryns

Baum reminded me I had an unfinished order i placed way bsck last year. I'm really glad they reminded me otherwise I would have missed out on this absoloute stunning guitar. The customer service was grest. I set up a payment plan and on the last month. I got in touch and the rep I was dealing with via email helped me out and applied a discount that wasn't included whe I had to reorder through the finance option.. The guitar arrived really quick perfectly set up. I honestly think this guitar is better than some of the custom shop Fenders . Quality is fantastic. I'll hoepfully get to ordering of the custom guitars. from Baum in the future . Can't recommend enough, one of those rare times were the social media and the hype around a brand is entirely true!! Thank you so much to the team at Baum delighted I didn't miss out on the 10th anniversary limited celester.

The team went out of their way to make sure I got the guitar I wanted. Even though I changed my mind through the process.

Finally, my Backwing in mamba green arrived.
I waited 8 months for this beauty, but it was worth every minute!
Btw, they send me a very nice shirt to apologize for the delay.
It's my first Baum guitar and I'm pretty sure that it won't be my last!
The craftsmanship is outstanding, there's not a single tiny thing to complain.
The guitar feels, plays and sounds amazing. I really love the sound of the mini humbuckers.

I had a great experience purchasing my new bass from Baum. It was so easy to buy right on-line and it arrived fast and it was in perfect condition. I played a show with it a few days after it was delivered to my front door . I'm very happy with my new Bass and im looking forward to purchasing another from Baum in the near future.

My Baum Nidhogg bass arrived 2 days earlier than expected and about a half hour before I was to leave for a gig. I unboxed it, tuned her up and played it a little put it back in the gig bag, which I should say is also the best gig bag I've ever seen, and headed to the show. She played as beautiful as she looks, sounds great and is very comfortable to wear. No neck dive at all.
It came with a great setup, I play a bit heavy handed so I had to raise the action a little to suit me.
I've played her three weekends in a row now and she's definitely my favorite bass. Probably the last one I'll ever buy.

It's a good looking but more importantly a really good guitar and... easy to play. The people from Baum were always really helpful, respectful and understanding, which was a pleasure to experience.

I am thrilled with my Baum Bass. I want to hear tone wood in large surface area, to me people who say type of wood doesn’t matter and / or who shrink the size of theDouble Bass from 4/4 ( 110) think no one notices. I am partly deaf, rely on vibrations but ( even) I notice. The other guitar basses I heard were all electronics. I have been kidnapped for winning Nobels in Economic Science Math and Physics on the Harvard faculty such that Harvard declared itself a nation foreign and the US fell, all my High Net Worth stolen… but when I am a Big Kid with Private Property and defense I will buy a custom made in Denmark. In any event the leftie is mine in a few weeks, I play left and right- handed. My hands don’t work, but both makes it more likely that one does in an Pocalyose where two sitting US presudevts were med- misdiagnosis kidnapped by ‘ commitment’ / false- arrest RICO patterns.

Buying a Baum wingman was the best decision for a long time. Awesome shape, solid sound, super lightweight. Top danish craftsmanship. I have already ordered a Nidhog 5-String bass from Baum too. And to be honest: this will be not the last one 🤩🤩

I received my gorgeous Baum bass Nidhogg today and am thrilled. You can hear through the electronics, my preference, I like hearing the strings and the tone woods. The design is the most gorgeous— the other maker I like designs to imitate Fender as they teach commie- imitation in the enemy universities. This design is black with unique tuner shapes, the neck wood is gorgeous, and the sound, why I bought it, beautiful. The strings feel great, the set- up fantastic. I am proud of them for this bass. I play upright bass and have an electric EUB from NS. We are trying to get the acoustic orchestral basses to be made in the full size, as the ‘ real estate’ or surface area of the instrument is what makes the sound unless electronics or something else is in the way. The type of lacquer or polish, the wood, the origin if the wood- I used to be able to hear valuable stuff from the location of the wood, but the UK creating 9/11 with the Jews blew my ears out such that Ray Dolby sat in my opera box as Uk military mocking the communist theft: wealth where it wasn’t and should have been instead. Deaf, I was kidnapped and my high Net Worth was stolen.

Fantastic materials, design, and especially sound. A stylish and lovingly designed product for those looking for headphones truly made for playing guitar (in my case). 100% recommended.

I'm a big fan of giving credit where credit is due. I really needed to share my recent experience with Baum Guitars.
I work in retail, and I really care about how smooth/intuitive companies can make things for us, the customers. Especially when it's online ordering and from another country.
I recently received my long-awaited 10th Anniversary Celestor, which I had been making payments on for the last 9 months. I have to say that I am just so amazed not only with the experience, but with the product as well.
I stumbled onto this company while doing research online. I fell in love with their marketing as well as the designs of these unique instruments.
The website was clear and easy to navigate. That's how I found out about the payment plan and immediately secured my guitar.
Setting up the payment plan was easy. I liked that I could log into my account and make payments whenever I had extra funds.
After paying it off, I emailed Baum straight away in pure excitement. Unfortunately, they were on their much-deserved summer holiday and wouldn't be returning to the shop for another 2 weeks. I completely understood, but was selfishly upset that I had to wait even longer.
Baum impressed me when I got an email that my order had shipped the very next day! I just couldn't believe the level of customer service/dedication.
I watched my purchase leave the shop and travel through 3 countries to get to me in 3 days. Again, my level of trust in the company grew exponentially.
The cherry on top of all of this was that the guitar is an absolute gem. It plays perfectly, and I'm in love!
The products from Baum are certainly worth your hard-earned money, especially when these products are being backed by such a great company that makes things smooth as legato.

Stunning design! The quality of the components! Literally every little detail comes together flawlessly, especially in this stunning Vintage White livery. Mine arrived perfectly set-up and is a joy to play. In my opinion, Baum absolutely nailed it with the Celestor. At this price, the Celestor definitely puts a lot of much higher priced competitors to shame! If you were to bring out a version with a maple fretboard in the future, I'm in!!! The ordering process is easy and clear and the delivery was fast, excellent and easy to trace.
