Le BBB est normalement un organisme censé vous aider en cas d’arnaque.
Je les ai contactés pour déposer une plainte pour un site frauduleux (Gotickets) après que ce site ne m’ait pas envoyé les tickets achetés.
Au final, l’entreprise mise en cause aura toujours raison car le BBB met un terme à la discussion à la deuxième réponse de l’entreprise, qui ne dit que des mensonges et malgré l’absence de preuves de leur part.
J’avais pourtant envoyé tous les éléments pour prouver ma bonne foi.
Pour résumer, le BBB ne sert à rien si ce n’est à permettre aux entreprises frauduleuses d’atteindre un niveau record de réponses mensongères mais validées et officielles pour le BBB.

I don't know about any other branches, but this one SUCKS!

I had an *EXTREMELY EASY* query for then when I tried to submit a complaint about a different business (which, coincidentally, seems to be located in the same complex in Alpharetta!)
All I wanted to know was how to fill in the phone number and post code for NON-USA residents on the complaint form. Or, whether I could have simply sent them an email.

The response I got was from a “Customer Service Representative” (NO NAME!!! What’s the actual point of writing a job title without giving a name??? A: none) who very curtly responded that I had to submit a complaint using the form… ZERO indication that they’d actually read my issue, and thus, NO help wit my issue!!!

I then replied to this email, telling them that what I got was NOT customer service, and that they should actually READ.MY.MESSAGE.

Lo and behold, I got a response that was JUST AS USELESS as the original – that is, only saying that I had to submit my complaint using the online form… and, again, NOT addressing the actual issue!!! They (again, a job title with NO NAME attached) also said that the website wasn’t handled by them (yeah, ok… so what?? I don’t need excuses)

So, I have to ask… if the BBB can’t even give a BASIC level of customer service with their own staff, what chance has ANYONE got of actually getting a complaint resolved?? Clearly, they’re not interested in helping actual ‘customers’.

NB – as someone who has worked In Customer Service for many years, I know what it actually is. At the *MOST BASIC LEVEL*, the CSR *SHOULD* have acknowledge the issue, and given a couple of suggestions. That’s it! That’s the LEAST amount of effort that I expect a competent CSR to have done – ESPECIALLY in the SECOND email! (but, should have been done in the first!)

A *GOOD* CSR would have also noted the issue forwarded it to whomever is responsible for the website in order to FIX the issue so that it DOESN’T HAPPEN AGAIN!

(I should point out here – there is a dropbox for country, but changing the country does NOT change the phone or postcode fields! That means the system is BUGGED)

I also need to point out, as many have before, that BBB is NOT a government enterprise, and has absolutely NO power to get resolutions for customers who complain. For that matter, it appears that if a company pays them money, they have an ACTIVE SELF-INTEREST in not resolving complaints… to keep handing out those stars that businesses like to promote.

I’ll be leaving this review on the BBB website, and file a complaint about them, and I’ll be going to their local Reddit as well… as the face-lose should be something that may actually stir them to do something… (although, honestly, I doubt anything is actually going to change!) I do fully expect the BBB to not have my review show to the public, and my complaint not actually actioned.

My business received a complaint, but it was about another "business". The receipts that were submitted by the person submitting the complaint even showed a completely different business name. I have even provided the contact information for the Government organization that is investigating the fraudulent company that she was involved with. I have requested that the erroneous complaint be removed, but the BBB representative ghosted me. I consider this to be defamation. I expect the review to be removed...

What a scam organization the BBB is. This used to be a place you could trust, now is not.
Union lost a package, they actually said they did. BBB said my complain wasn’t valid as UNIUNI wasn’t liable for the package. WTF? Really? Who the hell is then?
So my ‘Review’ got shut down as I am liable, not UNIUNI lol.
Two scam companies

I was denied payment for months; avoid these con artists. Thank you for saving our bacon, Gaard .𝗂𝖮. If not, I would not receive my money back.

I don't get all the hate on here for the BBB they are split in regions and at least in my experience have been great as a consumer

If zero stars were available, that would be my rating. I have had nothing but late, damaged deliveries from FEDEX and the BBB site has thousands of complaints, yet BBB rates them as A+ accredited. Both FedEx and BBB are terrible.
Today I was supposed to receive parts needed for a service appointment tomorrow morning. No surprise, FedEx failed to deliver. Now it's my problem to make new arrangements. I went online to BBB to post a review against FedEx and found that both businesses are ignoring complaints, and have been for well over 5 years.

Completely Decked Out in Belton, Texas exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds when they build a beautiful pergola and cover for my patio. Josh and Nathan Rice and their team will arrive on time and with a crew and all the materials prepared and ready.
My patio went from a hot purgatory to a cool oasis in less than five hours. The Completely Decked out team worked together like a well rehearsed symphony. Each part of the team complemented the other. Before you know it the work is complete and looks absolutely beautiful.
From beginning to end the process is smooth and enjoyable.

The Better Business Bureau is a wonderful company to work for. They have integrity and some of the most professional, friendly and helpful people you'll ever meet.

Failed to help us resolve an issue with our subcontractor. I used to think BBB was a good outfit. Now I know it is incapable of fair dealing.

I LOVE the BBB ! they make companies responsible for bad business practices accountable ! and the process is so seamless and quick.

BBB is totally untrustworthy. If you write a review on a company that they represent. Your complaint and review will be removed. Not reputable

As the owner of KeepMoving Logistics, I’m extremely disappointed with how the Better Business Bureau operates. Despite our efforts to resolve customer issues professionally and promptly, the BBB consistently presents our company in a misleading light, often without considering the full context or verifying facts accurately.

We’ve responded to every complaint submitted and offered reasonable resolutions, including refunds and internal corrective actions. However, many of our updates and explanations are either ignored or downplayed, while reviews and complaints — even those based on misunderstandings or one-sided claims — remain public and unbalanced.

The BBB does not function as a truly neutral or supportive platform for businesses. It feels more like a tool used to amplify negative feedback without accountability or any real vetting process. Their rating system lacks transparency, and their platform gives no meaningful opportunity for business owners to represent their side of the story effectively.

We strongly encourage other business owners to be cautious when relying on the BBB’s reputation. Their model seems outdated and unfair, especially for small businesses trying to provide honest service in a competitive market.

The BBB is for the business not the customer. They did absolutely nothing for me. What is the point of having them if they are not working for us?

Just about every company that is in their system has an A+ rating despite there being no possibility, by the bad reviews in sheer number falling far below any reasonable grade even resembling the grade. College would have been so much easier if they used this grading system, because you could not show up a single day and expect a 4.0.

With no human working online anymore what good is the BBB? THERE IS NO WAY TO GET HELP FROM THEM ANYMORE... COMPANIES THAT ARE NO GOOD ALSO KNOW THIS... SO THEY KNOW THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING THEY WANT NOW..... THE GOV'T NEEDS TO REMOVE EVERY ONLINE BUSINESS AND DISCUSSION SITES...

Useless and impotent. A waste of your time. They will write a letter to the scammer on your behalf. If the said scammer doesn't reply, that's it. You might as well ask your mommy to do it.

The services they provide, they can't even provide. I start a claim that goes no where because the fraudulent company lies and says otherwise without proof and you have proof but then they say claim is closed and they are satisfied with the business efforts witch is responding twice with lies and no proof and that your proof and complaint are irrelevant to the end decisions because they where atleast willing to lie as a response. What a failure of a consept and I will never utilize this service again as it was just a waste of time that only served to annoy me further.

BBB is a complete scam. Their ratings are complete BS. Anyone can complain on their site about you without any proof, even if they are in a different province and you've never dealt with them.

BBB offered a membership to AAA auto club as part of our initial membership, which I joined. Then I started getting calls from local agents at AAA NW Arkansas for insurance quotes. The policies they offered were fraudulent and we were uninsured on our home for 3 months and the agent never notified us that the underwriter for our homeowner policy had not approved it. (First premium already paid). When I requested a copy of the policy they sent a notice that the policy had been cancelled. Truth was they never approved it. No refund. And we still are fighting with them for pulling premiums on our car insurance which we cancelled in January (it is June now). If BBB aligns with this type of business, I don't respect the organization and will soon cancel my membership with them. .
