Charging my account after canceling
I called to cancel my subscription with them a few months ago. I just found out they never canceled my subscription and it just renewed for another year at almost $1,000. We are reviewing the audio recordings where I specifically asked them to please do not renew my subscription. They make it near impossible to cancel, saying they will send you an email but the email is actually only in your BBB account email system (which you do not get notifications for). Their entire website and system feels like it hasn't been updated since 2005, it's basically useless. I now have no trust in BBB at all and their rating system means nothing to me if I see it on someone's business. What a shame

They do nothing for the public and all they do is protect the companies that pay them their salary. I hope people know how it works. When you own a business you have to pay the better business bureau $1,000 a month to have them sponsor you or work with your business to cover up the dirty laundry that goes on in your company. They protect the business and the business pays The better Business bureau to protect them. It is the biggest sham in the world. BBB Was So Helpful!
I first wrote to the Attorney General's Office with no satisfaction. I decided to go to the BBB and file my complaint. I was completely taken by surprise how helpful the BBB was. I filed my complaint with the BBB and within three days I heard back from the company I had issues with. I am pleased to say that I received my refund in full. With out the assistance of the BBB I would be out my $792. Thank you BBB for your honesty and faithfulness to the people and communities you serve.

Now days, the BBB is simply a scam site that extorts you for money, so that you can become "BBB verified."

Legally Stealing Money shipping the wrong parts
My Reply from GRP was really weak.
Their Return Policy clearly states:
1. You pay a restocking fee
2. You pay for shipping
3. You pay for insurance
4. You pay for damages to origional shipping box considered as part of the part being sent, really that is what it says!
5. We will receive and Inspect the part and apply any additional credit reductions.
I can do the numbers and see they are making money sending me the wrong part because their drawing is simply wrong, these things do happen but GRP stands on their drawing being correct. I have no options but exposing their money making return policy, you too can experience this new brand of AI selling with return costs paid for by the buyer making money. I will go into the hole because I have no discounts with UPS and they make the buyer do all the work.
Read their return policy first before buying any product!
#1. Genuine Replacement Parts, GRP. It is almost impossible to get the right part using bad information but GRP is trying. The problem is they are making money not getting you the right part. They make the first profit on the wrong part sent, the second profit on your return and the third on selling your returned part again. Know that if you damage the original shipping box if you need to return it, they will inspect the box and part starting even more reduction of your credit reduction until there is no credit for your return but they still keep it and sell it again. Their AR # policy is thicker than the smoke they emit. They charge you for damage to the shipping box even though it was caused when shipping to you, I'm talking about any marks on the box with a pen, pencil, or sharpie or any made by the shipping company. They make you pay for shipping back and make you pay for insurance to ship back. When it arrives they inspect and charge for anything, even marks on their shipping box made with a pen.
What are the odds you can get the right part for a 10-year-old refrigerator? Slim and none, but they say you got the part ordered, the problem is their drawing and information can be wrong but they will not warranty that saying you got the part you ordered.
I got a return #, and had to fight for it, but after reading the legal document sent back it was easier to buy a new refrigerator and put a shelf where the chill drawer was then move it to the garage for extra storage.
They even had the fifth email they sent already indicating I was upset and it was AI.
They are making money sending out the wrong parts, which always happens, but they have it written for return policy so many items it would be impossible to meet them all. If you do send it back and they find anything they assess the part and start crediting you less and less. They also keep the part and sell it again as indicated by the "do not damage the original shipping box, they say it is considered part of the part after it ships and must be returned without damage.
All this time they sent the wrong part indicating the drawing shown shows you got what you ordered.
Understand if you do get the right part you will be happy if you don't get the right part they will not give you your money back!

My eBay account was permanently banned without any explanation. Contacting customer support via email did not resolve the issue, as they refused to explain the reason behind the ban, leaving me with more questions than answers. Consequently, I filed a complaint against eBay on the BBB.
Half a month went by before eBay responded with an email full of empty official mumbo jumbo, offering no explanation and expecting me to accept the situation as it is. I rejected their so-called "resolution". Ten days later, eBay sent another email, barely different from the first one. Clearly, they didn't care about my complaint and showed a complete lack of respect. BBB then closed my case. When I tried to open another case, they immediately shut it down, preventing me from filing another complaint.
Throughout this entire process, BBB provided NO help. They turned a blind eye to eBay's misconduct and their irresponsible responses. Ironically, while there are numerous negative reviews on eBay's BBB page, they still maintain A- rating. I couldn't even find my own complaint there, making me wonder if it had been deliberately removed.
From my experience, the BBB isn't an organisation that helps consumers combat big companies or even a neutral entity. The authenticity of the data they provide is questionable.

The Better Business Bureau
The Better Business Bureau, is a Scam. The B.B.B. is just a Non-Profit meaning they are able to keep most of the money that comes to them. They are Not a Governmental Agency but rather a Non Profit that anyone can buy or open. If you own a Business the BBB is like putting a Target on your Back. This organization built its foundation on the Backs of Business Entrepreneurs and if "SAID" business is paying the Annual Fees to the B.B.B., than "SAID" company will be treated by the B.B.B. with honor and respect towards that Individuals Company, thus allowing proper vetting of Complaints. We all know and have all Experienced there are just people out there who want to cause other people issues. It's unfortunate but people sometimes Suck- - The problem is that when a person who has not done business with a Company by means of Exchange of Money, Contract or Service - then this means that in no way should a person just be able to conduct themself with malicious intent against a business. Making false accusations that are harm a business and having not done business with that Company is deviant behavior and would normally be protected by the B.B.B. if you were to be a current member. If you are not a member than you will not be given the chance to prove falsehoods against your company which could completely Destroy all of your hard work - The B.B.B. has been sued for this and apparently is doing it again at the local office in Cleveland Ohio. I am also reporting them to the Ohio, Attorney Generals Office. I will be seeking and Attorney for possible litigation. The BBB spokes person had no interest in hearing my side of the Story and I've written them several times- They Said..>OOOH this is a good Review. - The person that left the review was given an estimate 2/3rds less than average cost - just out of the Kindness of our Hearts- thinking that we have to address individuals potential money issues. So we made a no brainier for Price. This individual called a month later and asked for a Quote Again. We - I gave her same quote and then three weeks later this individual was calling me names over the phone. She wanted us / ME to drive to her home and I refused since I had already done a Google Map of her home and also I gave price from Photos where i was clearly able to determine the more than Half off... price I GAVE her-- for this Gift - I was called names and the BBB supports this type Behavior - Everyone I know that has a business would never Join the BBB because of their track record for abuse towards companies - The BBB act as Authorities and hires non business owners as ATTACK DOGS on people who bring Value to their communities - SCREW YOU BBB
The BBB is not worth a darn
The BBB is not worth a darn. They do not follow through on complaints and i’ve witnessed them deleting all reviews and complaints against a company giving them an A+ rating.

How can you be a consumer advocate and give Xfinity an A+ rating? I don't know anyone who has had Comcast / Xfinity that has anything good to say about their customer service which is almost non-existent and you cannot get through their prompts. This company is pathetic, and the old saying is "Money Talks"! My latest problem they are still taking out payments on my credit card after I canceled my serviced. I called them several times, and was told they would call me back yesterday at 3PM, NEVER. HAPPENED! The FCC or the Federal Trade Commission should step in with this company but again money talks!
Complete waste of time
There is absolutely zero point to complaining to these clowns because they will do absolutely nothing for you except likely steal your data. They have no power or authority over any company and thus are of absolutely no assistance to you. I thought this organization meant something but it is just a total joke.

BBB is not doing their job
BBB used be a trusted and helpful consumer advocate. But it looks like changed recently a lot. I filed complaint against Nelnet last December, but my complaint was not able to see and BBB said only one complaint filed and closed against Nelnet. There were more complaints when I filed it. Also I wrote a review of Nelnet, there were a lot of bad reviews there too. I checked the BBB page today, it was only 5 reviews!! I can't believe it!!! Obviously BBB removed most of reviews including my review. My complaint case was closed after only two or three messages exchanged with Nelnet. It did not reach resolution, but BBB should help more to reach until complaint's desired resolution. Obviously BBB quits to do their jobs. Their job is terrible now. It's so sad we lost a good consumer advocate. We need another consumer advocate instead of BBB. Working one.
