I ordered on August 30th and Received it on September 2nd. First time using BlackCircle and turned out great. I got all four tires with the Dot Code 1426.

I recently placed an order with Blackcircles.ca for a winter tire that I was purchasing for my son and having shipped directly to his address.
After placing the order, I received an email from Blackcircles.ca advising that because the delivery address was different from the address associated with my PayPal account, they would normally require the addresses to match. They then advised that if I wanted the tire delivered to my son's address, I would have to provide a copy of my driver's licence as verification that I authorized shipment to the alternate address.
I consider this an excessive and unnecessarily intrusive requirement for an ordinary online retail transaction.
I fully understand that retailers need reasonable fraud-prevention procedures. However, purchasing an item for a family member and having it delivered directly to that person's address is hardly unusual in online commerce. Requiring a customer to provide a copy of government-issued identification — containing substantially more personal information than should be necessary to verify a tire purchase — creates its own privacy and identity-security concerns.
What was particularly frustrating was Blackcircles.ca's unwillingness, in my experience, to consider any reasonable alternative method of verification. I contacted the company directly, explained the circumstances, confirmed that I was the purchaser, and made clear that I was willing to cooperate with an appropriate verification process — but not to provide a copy of my driver's licence. I was nevertheless given no practical alternative: either have the tire shipped to my own PayPal-registered address or provide the requested government-issued identification.
That struck me as an unnecessarily rigid and uncooperative approach to customer service, particularly when there are many less intrusive ways of verifying a legitimate transaction, including PayPal verification, telephone or email confirmation, transaction-specific authentication, or other payment-security measures.
I did not want the tire shipped to my own address and was not prepared to provide my driver's licence simply to authorize delivery to my son's address. I therefore cancelled the order and will purchase the tire elsewhere.
Potential customers should be aware of this requirement before ordering, particularly if they intend to have a purchase delivered somewhere other than the address registered with their PayPal account.
My concern is the proportionality of the personal information requested and Blackcircles.ca's unwillingness to consider a less intrusive verification alternative for a legitimate customer, even after I spoke directly with the company and confirmed the transaction during a live call.
Customers may also wish to ask, before providing government-issued identification, what information Blackcircles.ca retains from that identification, how it is stored and protected, who has access to it, how long it is retained, and when it is permanently deleted.
For me, the combination of the excessive identification request and the refusal to consider a reasonable alternative was sufficient reason to cancel the purchase.
Blackcircles.ca lost the sale.

Just purchased the wheels from them. These guys first charge you and then tell you that they won't have the items in stock for a month. Fraud, clearly. Never again.

Ordered 2 sets of tyres lately with black circles 2 sets khumo tyres and great service and good price (can’t say great as price of rubber is huge atm) however quick to sort and find my preferred fitters. Love this place. I ordered tires last year and rims this year. Order placed without issue and product shipped fast. Would definitely use them again and again.

The prices are attractive, but the customer service is poor and unacceptable.

An email requesting clarification on when my order would ship went unanswered for more than 72 hours, and no tracking information was provided until after the delivery had already occurred. As a result, the tires were simply left on my front doorstep for over 12 hours without any notice. In an era where porch theft is increasingly common, this level of disregard for basic communication and delivery transparency is inexcusable. Had I been informed when the shipment was dispatched or provided with tracking information in a timely manner, I could have arranged for someone to secure the delivery. I was fortunate the tires were still there when I returned. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that this occurred. Such issues can easily be prevented as is evidenced by many other companies these days.

On top of this, the company’s promotional discounts are poorly explained and lack clarity regarding what they actually cover, leading to confusion and a frustrating checkout experience.

If price is the only factor you care about, then this might be the company for you. Otherwise, you may wish to think again before ordering.
