Blackmoor is one of very few Nurseries in the UK offering gardeners the opportunity to buy fruit plants direct from our Nursery. Blackmoor Nurseries is part of Blackmoor Estate in Hampshire which has been run by the Selborne family for several generations. At Blackmoor we are very proud about our heritage and history, and we’re absolutely passionate about our fruit plants. We have been growing them at our Hampshire based estate for over 100 years. All of our staff have been trained to the highest level in both the growing and packing of our plants and we all strive to produce top quality fruit trees and soft fruit plants. All orders are subject to rigorous quality tests at every stage of growth, and throughout the processes of lifting to packing. Roots are soaked and covered before shipping which means that each plant reaches the customer in prime condition. Our customer service team are all Blackmoor Nursery people and are happy to provide expert advice either by phone or email. They are industry experts and are always happy to share their knowledge and tips about how to get the very best from growing fruit.

Fruit plant looked healthy on arrival and undamaged.
Delivery was quick. All I would say about delivery was that we were informed it was going to be the afternoon and it turned up in the morning, just before we went out.

Great quality blackberries
Given the long hot, dry weather we have had this year, the container grown plants were in surprisingly good condition on delivery. They were well packed and promptly delivered. On the basis of this experience, I have already ordered further plants and trees for delivery in the winter.

Another good experience
Another good experience buying grape vines for our garden.
Ordering was simple and delivery as promised and very well packaged.
Maybe one or two too many order status emails, but not really a problem.

Last year I bought asparagus from…
Last year I bought asparagus from Blackmoor and because I wanted another variety which was out of stock I bought that from another company. Your crowns looked really healthy and all have succeeded. The crowns of the other company seemed not to be as good and only one out of the 12 crown came up.
