I've bought vinyls from Black Screen Records several times. Everytime they where very communicative with the order status and pre-orders delay (which sometimes happen depending on the manufacturers and other external factors). I appreciate that they also sell iam8bit and Laced Records products, and that they are fairly priced. I also love that they import specific LPs from Japan, which would be a pain to buy both for the price and delivery process. The packaging is always super safe with a lot of bubble wrap and cardboard support. The customer service is also very kind, efficient, and responds within the time specified on their website; I only needed it to add products to already existing orders or to merge 2 orders together, which is an amazing service they offer, never because of a problem I had with a product

I ordered from Black Screen Records, and unfortunately my vinyl arrived with a small cosmetic damage.
I contacted their customer service, and although it took a little while to get a reply, the issue was eventually handled in a very friendly and fair way.

After a few emails, Anya from support took care of everything and offered me a partial refund, which I’ve now received. The communication was polite and understanding, and they genuinely tried to find a fair solution.

Overall, I’m satisfied despite the small issue – great selection, nice shop, and reliable customer service in the end.
I would order from them again, just with a bit of patience when waiting for a reply.

Trotz Verzögerung zweier Signalis CD Bestellungen kamen diese sehr sorgfältig verpackt an, mitsamt tollem black screen records Katzen Sticker.

I pre-ordered a 'Lost Records: Bloom & Rage' vinyl a while ago and I have to say that my order came in a pretty good condition and on time! It was well packaged with lost of bubble wrap (which is very appreciated) and no damage was done whatsoever. All In all, I would say that it's a trustworthy website!

The best of the best when it comes to niche vinyls. If I was rich, I would buy the entire catalog!

Shipping was pretty fast and secure, packages came in pretty good shape (only got a little bit damaged not by black screen records) and their custumer support was very nice and helpful

L'emballage est super jolie avec les motifs, et très bien protégé ! J'ai commandé sur Mondo qui est un fournisseur américain, ils sont largement moins bon que Blackscreenrecords. Dommage que vous ayez beaucoup d'avis négatifs. Pour ma part, je suis très satisfait du service, j'espère que vous allez continuer comme cela, c'est du tout bon !

I’ve ordered from Black Screen Records a couple of times now, and I couldn’t be happier. My first order was back in May 2021 for the original Persona 5 vinyl, and most recently I received Junko Ohashi – Magical on cobalt blue vinyl. I had originally pre-ordered the transparent edition in February 2024, which unfortunately got cancelled, but the team handled it smoothly and I’m really happy with the edition I received.

The quality of the pressings is great, shipping was reliable, and as a collector it feels amazing to add these albums to my shelf. I’m very happy to be their customer and will definitely keep supporting them in the future. Highly recommended!

When you receive items with some damage to the slipcase or sleeves but no damage to the vinyl itself they try to gaslight you saying only the bare vinyl is the product itself. Only massive damage is covered because it will be the shipping company to cover it. Otherwise your only option is to keep a damaged item or pay to get it back and then not get refunded of the initial postage costs. This is an awful costumer experience and one that puts all the blame and costs on the customer. If you mind having damage on the slipcases/gatefold sleeves of your collection avoid BSR at all costs. We need to stop letting this be a industry standard. There needs to be a viable stock of the slipcases and sleeves to replace damaged ones for costumers and not the usual “we don’t have in stock if you want to return you need to pay”.

Excellent site to find rare new vinyl records imported from Japan (especially city pop, but they sell out very quickly! Make sure to check their website regularly or follow their Twitter account to know when these records become available).
The customer service is really great: they do take a little time to reply (they seem to be very active on Mondays and Tuesdays, but not so much during the rest of the week), but if you provide proof with photos/videos that the vinyl has a serious issue such as a crack (within 48 hours after receiving it — very important, as stated on their website), they are willing to send a replacement free of charge (in my case, it was an entire box of vinyl). This is based on my personal experience, and also because I’ve been a customer for a year now, so it’s probably also a matter of trust.
Regarding shipping dates, when you place a pre-order, don’t rely 100% on the month indicated: sometimes you have to expect about an extra month, but usually they will let you know if the delay is significant (and often it’s due to the vinyl publisher, not the website).

All orders made have arrived with no issues. The customer service is very professional and you are immediately notified if there is any problem or delay.

Mi tienda de vinilos de confianza. Jamás he tenido ningún problema con ellos. Los pocos problemas que he tenido me los han solucionado rapidísimo, tienen un equipo de atención al cliente excelente. Envíos rápidos y los vinilos bien protegidos.

Ich habe Ende Januar bestellt, weil ich ein wirklich tolles Angebot gefunden hatte. Als Lieferzeitpunkt war Ende Februar angegeben.

Als es Anfang März noch immer keine Lieferung gab, habe ich hier auf Trustpilot nachgeschaut – und war ehrlich gesagt etwas beunruhigt. Deshalb habe ich den Kundenservice kontaktiert und auch tatsächlich eine Antwort erhalten.

Im März wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass die Lieferung im April erfolgen würde. Am 1. Mai bekam ich dann die Nachricht, dass mein Paket eingetroffen sei und nun versendet werde.

Heute ist es angekommen – und ich freue mich sehr! =)

In den E-Mails hat mir Black Screen Records erklärt, dass sie nur ein kleines Team sind und stark von ihren Lieferanten abhängig. Das hat mir geholfen, die Verzögerung besser nachzuvollziehen – auch wenn es zwischendurch natürlich etwas unklar war.

Hatte diverse Platten im Sales geordert, wie immer dann lange nichts gehört, dann kam Wochen später eine DHL Sendungsnummer, auf die sich wiederum wochenlang nichts tat. Nach Rückfrage hieß es, die Sendung sei im Lager hängengeblieben, okay passiert. Doch dann, eine weitere Woche später kam die Meldung, dass nach erneuter Prüfung festgestellt wurde, dass mittlerweile einer der bestellten Patten ausverkauft sei, und eine Rückerstattung stattfände. Hallo?? Man bestellt Ware, und weil die Leute so langsam sind, werden bestelle Artikel zwischenverkauft!? Kurios: der Artikel ist immer noch auf der Shop-Seite als verfügbar gelistet! In meinen Augen unprofessionell, lächerlich und Kundentäuschung, und die Erreichbarkeit gleich Null. Der Kundenservice ist nicht mal mangelhaft, der ist praktisch nicht vorhanden, denn dem Team von BSR ist der Kunde völlig egal, das habe ich auch lernen dürfen! Und das ist es, was mir völlig gegen den Strich geht, denn hier handelt es sich ja nicht um einen Supermarkt, der täglich alles neu reinbekommt, sondern um einen Versand der streng limitierte Sammlerartikel verkauft – da sollte man dem Kunden schon einen höheren Stellenwert einräumen. Wer kann, sollte woanders kaufen. Absolut nicht mehr zu empfehlen!!
