I had a very disappointing experience with BookMyBoat. I booked a 4-hour trip for about $1,400, which included the boat, jet ski, fuel, docking fees, and a mandatory $400 tip—but the service did not come close to justifying the price. The captain and crew were unprofessional, spending most of the time chatting with each other instead of assisting guests. Communication was difficult as they did not speak English. The jet ski experience was also misleading—only one was working, and usage was extremely limited. The boat itself was older and not in great condition. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, poorly managed, and not worth the cost. I would not recommend booking through them.

This is a SCAM DONT DO IT BOOKED A PINK YACHT CRUISE AND WAS MESSAGED THE DAY OF SAYING THEY HAD TO CANCEL RESERVATION AND I WOULD GET A FULL REFUND THEN NO REFUND !!!!!! Disputing through credit card this is a rip off they make you pay upfront cancel the charter and refuse refund!!!!!!!!!

It was a scam. Booked a tour in Greece, Korfu. They never showed up, a call was answered, afterwards they contacted us via whatsapp and told us there was a misschedule with the boat and they would refund it. It never happened, so i had to do it myself via Visa.

I recently attempted to book ferry tickets for a family trip through bookmyboat website, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The website's functionality left much to be desired, as I encountered multiple issues trying to submit the booking form. Instead of a seamless online process, I found myself in the frustrating position of having to rely on a phone call to complete the booking, with a representative making the arrangements on my behalf.

To make matters worse, when it came to selecting seating for our journey, the options were limited and poorly allocated, particularly on the Nautika ferry. Despite my efforts, I was unable to secure suitable seating arrangements for my family. Even worse, for the Makruzz ferry, I didn't receive any confirmation or communication regarding seat selection, leaving us to scramble for available seats upon boarding.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using third-party aggregators for ferry bookings. Instead, I recommend dealing directly with the ferry companies. While my experience with the aggregator was nothing short of frustrating, booking directly with the ferry companies offers the opportunity for smoother communication and potentially avoids the headaches I encountered.

In conclusion, my experience with this aggregator's booking service was subpar, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to others. Direct booking with ferry companies is undoubtedly the way to go to ensure a stress-free and reliable travel experience.

Unlike Makmytrip & airBnB, bookmyboat has someone waiting to help you at every friction point. Any issues I could call them up and got assistance. Being able to talk to an actual person when you have an issue is more refreshing than I know how to explain.
