Commutative and always answered my questions when I needed. At first I was nervous because of all the other ‘types of companies’ out there. Bound2impress are not one of these. Very impressed. Thanks so much for everything

I am with the other person on this, avoid this director at all cost, i was a customer of Dorset Show Homes and they did a rubbish job on my patio, very unprofessional work men and no aftercare service, i had problems with my patio and they were due to fix it and then just vanished, no contact from them at all and only found out the had dissolved the company once there website had been taken down and confirmed my companies house, this director doesn't care once he has your money and the guarantee it comes with is not worth the paper its written on, avoid this director and any other company associated with him

I stand by my review; it is truthful /factual and isn’t to cause trouble. It is there to give people an opportunity to seek info on the company and make an informed decision themselves. I thought that was what Trustpilot was about.
Mr B - Although my review below was only recently made, you are well aware that I put up a couple of reviews months ago but felt intimidated by you and the office manager to take them down. You threatened me with a legal letter and said you reported me to Dorset Police. After contacting them myself, this was not the case - just a bullying tactic (very unprofessional)!
You took the whole review section down from your website long after this and only after me pointing out several times that this was misleading / dishonest.

Yes, you are correct, I did initially give a 5* review when the works were completed. The fitters that came worked extremely hard and the patio looked lovely. However, aftersales service is just as important as the product. This is where you fail and hence my change in opinion / rating and that I couldn’t recommend you. As I said, your website is misleading and you don’t seem to stick to your word. Did you not say you would expedite my insurance backed guarantee? Please be honest in your response! It would be interesting to know how many of the 11,000 you have sent out.

As you say, businesses do close. However, it’s the timescale that bothered me. You formed the new company around the time my works were being undertaken. The sales manager must have been aware of your plans and would have known my guarantee would be worthless once DSH was dissolved. He was very aware that, due to previous experience, I wouldn’t have gone ahead without a valid guarantee.

In your response below, you say DSH was closed due to valid reasons that were not related to the quality or abilities of your fitters. In the article in the Dorset Echo you said the resin manufacturer would not guarantee work previously completed, which left you to shoulder the cost of the repairs, and you had multiple each week. These are your own words. Are you saying there is a fault with the resin? This concerns me as only 10 months down the line I already have loose stones in my patio. No doubt this is going to worsen over time. Are you able to say who the manufacturer was?
You also said people would not be left out of pocket. Of course they will be out of pocket if they’ve paid out thousands and the product is faulty and doesn’t last.

I don’t understand why you seem so upset by my review in particular. Is there anything wrong in me suggesting people check you out on Companies House or suggest they get an insurance backed guarantee (so they don’t end up in the same position I have)? If you are reliable, trustworthy, honest and experts in your field of work then you shouldn’t mind them doing this, or reading the reviews of all your companies.

Finally, I’m not sure how to take your comment “would you prefer we all went to work for Sainsbury’s instead”. I found this derogatory. What’s wrong with Sainsbury’s? No, I am not suggesting you go to work for them but perhaps you’d like to take a leaf out of their book - founded in 1869 and still going under the same name! Now that’s a reliable company.

Original review: I have had no works completed by Bound2Impress, so was shocked to see a review of mine on their website (review had been amended and changed to new company name).
My review was for Dorset Showhomes - another company owned by this director - now dissolved.
Following communication, my review, along with others, has since been removed. However, I still feel the B2I website is misleading. It states their fitters have completed over 10,000 projects, and laid 480,000 sq metres of resin. This may be the case, but I question if this was under the name of B2I as the company was only incorporated in Sept 2023. It seems this company wants to use the positives of his combined companies to promote his new business, but if you contact them with a problem you are informed they are all separate businesses and the new company is not responsible for those works.
I feel they can’t be trusted and are dishonest.
If considering works with this company, check director’s name on Companies House to see how often he sets up and closes down businesses and, above all, if you go ahead with works ensure you have an insurance backed guarantee.

Excellent and professional from start to finish. Started & completed on agreed dates. The office staff were prompt in answering our queries and the two workmen who completed the job were excellent. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with the finished installation of drive, steps and pathway and the quality of workmanship.
All the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The reason for not giving 5 stars is that, in this instance, the logistics regarding the ordering and delivery of materials to site were somewhat lacking.
On the two days allotted for preparation and laying the weather was suitable however much of the materials had not been delivered and then came in in dribs and drabs and consequently the preparation was only half finished by the end of the first day. On the second day some more of the materials arrived but not all of them by the end of the day so the preparation was still not finished.
The next 3 days were fine but I was told that the earliest they could come back was on the Saturday, the 4th day. By then the weather had broken and they were unable to lay the resin or even finish the preparation. After some persuasion they agreed to come back on the following Wednesday and a different crew arrived and almost completed the job but they had underestimated the amount of resin and ran out with a little bit more to do. Thursday was wet so yet another crew came on Friday and finished the job.
I hope this can be taken as constructive criticism.
As the main error was not having the materials available, I would suggest that it is important to ensure that all the materials are on site 2 to 3 days before the job is due to start. Had this been the case all the following problems would have been eliminated.

Fantastic bunch of guys that did my mum's resin drive, they have worked so hard, very polite, and didn't bother me once. Great team of guys Bound2Impress have there, can't fault them one little bit. Wish all workmen were like this!
The drive now looks AMAZING, my mums house looks completely transformed. 5/5 from me.

Very impressed with the entire process from dealing with the Sales Team through to completion. There was no hard sell, and once we agreed to proceed with the installation, communications from the Company were first class. Materials arrived prior to the work being carried out, the ground works Team were very friendly and completed the work to a very high standard. The weather did intervene which delayed the resin lay, however, a new install date was promptly agreed and was completed on time. Extremely happy with the work and would definitely recommend Bound2Impress if you are looking to have a resin driveway / patio installed.

Excellent throughout the process from initial quote to completion. Great communication explaining what and how. The team who did all the groundwork and spread the resin were friendly and very diligent, checking levels seemingly every five minutes! If you are in the market for a resin drive/path I would highly recommend this company.

Total transformation! Our new resin driveway, patios, and pathways replaced a combination of tarmac, concrete, paving slabs and soil. Every department, from sales to installation are pleasant and professional. Reassuringly, the groundworks team also completed the resin spread for end-to-end continuity. Our works also included widening of our driveway necessitating new concrete foundations for a new wall to match existing. We are delighted with the end result and highly recommend bound2impress.

Communications was easy , professional worker and very good result. Our driveway looks stunning.
Everything went smooth on both days of preparations and spreading. Staff was professional and efficient.

I do feel it's important in today's environment to give credit where credit is due! So here goes.
The initial consultation was friendly and professional (no hard sell).
Men, tools, equipment all came on que no waiting around and no glitches. 10 out of 10 for organisation skills.
Guys worked very hard, no tea breaks or idle chatter. Again a good team! Organised, obliging careful and tidy. No swearing and boy was it a hot day.
Then the following day the guys who laid the actual resin rocked up on time worked non stop and even rigged up a fence around the patio to save our dogs and cats leaving little and large paw prints behind.
Following the actual construction the paper copy of my receipt complete with warranty/guarantee turned up in the post as promised with instructions on maintenance.
I am above impressed!

Everything went very smoothly from the initial contact. Good communication. Great workmanship.
The only thing that went wrong was the Great British weather. Would recommend to anyone .

Perfect outcome… 3 days’ to transform the access, increase my parking spaces and add fabulous kerb appeal (unable to load before, during and after photos)

..my elderly parents were also struggling to park easily (so worried about this) and I always had to move their car out when leaving my home ..

Day 1 - existing surface cleared, removed
Day 2 - surface prepared and edging
Day 3 - resin surface prepared, installed
Day 6 - ready to use 🧡

.. it looks absolutely fabulous .. a transformation, worth the ‘cough splutter’ price, and contractor so polite, quick, efficient and cleared up in the areas worked.

Access is tight to do work however were extra polite and worked around the neighbours’ parking spaces opposite (as there is shared access main drive-way in between my drive and these private parking spaces) - I moved in a few months’ ago and refurbishing the whole property (as been empty for 18 months) and with the completion of the resin surface other contractors’ now have easy and nice looking access too ☺️

PS sadly I do need to say sorry for a horrible incident and working conditions - I did put up a ‘polite notice of works’ sign 3 weeks’ before and during works access was made available to the neighbours at all times.

The contractor’s works vehicle (with machinery and tools in to do the job) was moved at any time however, at the end of Day 1 a small pallet of edging pavers was left tightly up against an opposite wall unbeknown to me as work full time .. near 2 signed ‘private parking spaces keep clear’ as couldn’t be left on surface or shared main driveway in between .. neighbour’s wife arrived home, could park ok but, complained to me and asked if contractor could leave their works vehicles down on main road on Day 2 as well, obviously I said they couldn’t, an honest answer as needed access to their tools and would be finished on Day 3, Wednesday, I said sorry a few times for the inconvenience and disruption but, we are where we are ..* all other neighbours have been absolutely wonderful and offered their driveway for me to park on too 🧡and put their own vehicles on main village road kindly…

..on Day 2 the works vehicle had 2 wheels in said private parking space opposite when neighbour’s husband arrived home … with wife in car - who I had said sorry to the night before - all hell broke loose .. husband jumped out of his vehicle, leaving door open and didn’t politely then ask contractor to move their works vehicle (which they had done throughout works for others no issues) but, I was outside and stormed past and over to me and put face an inch away from my face to ask ‘who the hell do you think you are?… ‘my wife struggled to park, you have not asked us if the contractor can use our spaces which I’ve bought and own .. told me owned two spaces opposite about 10 times ‘I lost the plot’ as not experienced anything like this before and nor had this contractor in 9 years of working in residential areas and🫣 however the works continued, fortunately and the contractor couldn’t have been more professional as my actual next door neighbour asked as well if they could remove a metre of low threshold broken hamstone wall which she’d hit a few times (her parking edging onto my driveway) and make it level access onto
‘her bit’ so she didn’t damage her new car… of course, this wasn’t part of their (my) spec. of works plus after this incident … definitely couldn’t or wouldn’t touch it (so now ‘mr I own these two spaces’ and my neighbour’ talk outside my home pointing at the stones)..…

Outcome of the works completed is that I’ve put CCTV up over and I’m still loving my new to me single life and my new driveway is perfect, thank you…my parents are over the moon too!

Who knew…a unique added challenge during these works in a ‘quiet Somerset village’ no through road and for operatives to remain so professional and polite .. is a credit to your company 🧡

Exceptionally hard workers. Delighted with the results and the whole process has been smooth from the point of sale, customer service through to the final installation which has transformed the front of our house.

The process was carried out professionally and effectively by a very hard- working team. They were polite, cheerful and respectful of our needs. The finished product looks wonderful and has greatly enhanced the appearance of our property.

We recently had a resin driveway installed by Bound2Impress, and we couldn't be more delighted with the results. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and professional.

Over the moon with our new resin driveway! The guys were great from beginning to end from the planning and created stages to the laying of the resin. It was a perfect colour to match our property. Punctual, efficient and professional workman carried out the job within the time frame given and achieved a brilliant end result. We have had so many compliments on the drive already. We are so happy with the finished product that we are going to use them again and upgrade our back patio next year!
