My wife ordered an online product which look exactly similar to other box and when it arrived it was the wrong one, she called up and spoke to Mohammed who was extremely helpful and explained we don’t really do this but arranged to have a free return label sent out to us so we can return this and he would send out the correct item. Thanks again, we will definitely buy more again from here 😊

I was concerned when reading a number of the reviews on Trustpilot for British Chemist after I’d placed an order. However, the website does clearly state in a number of places that dispatch times can be up to 10 working days. I received regular updates and communication and despite taking a while to be dispatched, I received my items and they were sent tracked 24 hours. Very happy with my purchase - if you’re willing to wait for well priced items, I’d definitely recommend! The experience was no different to what I expected based on clear lead times.

Took 3 weeks to cancel the order and then no refund. Order number #416183. It was a payment of £36.36 that they have still not refunded.

Ordered a work knife 3 weeks later nothing arrived... cancelled it asked for a refund... 10 days later no refund.. dont use these scammers.
Terrible company had bulbs orders for 12 days to be cancelled on me. Should not be taking orders if you can fulfil them!

How they have got 2 stars is beyond me, terrible experience please trust me and just don’t order from them, ridiculous wait, told dispatched and then told can’t fulfill the order as can’t get the stuff, well how can it be dispatched! Honestly just avoid!!

I placed order #407716 on 10 December 2025 for cardiologist-recommended VegaOmega Plus and Brulidine Cream. Despite the time-sensitive nature of these products, they were not dispatched for nearly three weeks.
Communication was non-existent; I received only automated updates. My request for a cancellation on 24 December was initially ignored, and a refund was only processed after significant delay. This failure to deliver prevented me from sourcing these essential items elsewhere in a timely manner, which impacted my health management. I have shared this experience with Trading Standards and the MHRA to highlight the risks of such delays for patients.
I wish I'd looked on Trust Pilot before I ordered from this company on the 3rd Jan. They took my money on the same day but all I've had since then is a string of emails saying the order is processing. Now the 17th Jan and nothing. Perhaps a referral to Trading Standards or the Financial Conduct Authority might buck their ideas up.
I have replied to this company privately and the order has now been cancelled and a refund is in progress. However I don't accept my original comments were unfair. Each email I received indicated a progression of the order in the heading but nothing happened.

They sent a different item and I had ordered what I wanted from them specifically as they said that had it, which they hadn't, and sent an inferior alternative. I asked for my money back and I would return the incorrect item but they have never responded. I think they are shysters and will certainly never order from them again.

This chemist used to be very good, usually order in the morning and delivered the next day but the last couple of times I've used them it's taken an age to even be looked at, the last order I did with them spent 3 weeks on their system I had several automated emails giving me weekly updates then I get an email saying order rejected and cancelled, yea ok so you make me wait 3 weeks send out numerous emails apologizing then go and cancel it, great costumer service I certainty won't be using them again and will make sure I can spread the word so others don't get caught up with this company, they have a 2 star rating for a reason because they are bloody awful.

Ordered nearly 3 weeks ago, and still not received my order. After constant messaging on live chats and phoning almost daily, finally got them to dispatch part of my order. The other items they keep saying are coming, but now I have asked for a refund but still not heard anything back. I was told 2 weeks ago that one item was out of stock, so I asked for a refund but still haven't received anything. At this point, I just want the refund for the missing items, but looks like I'm gonna need to do a chargeback.

Same story as others, kept my money for weeks, then refunded as “they didn’t want to keep me waiting any longer”. Although I was refunded after a few weeks, i lost significantlyon the FX as ordering from overseas. Scammers for sure. They couldn’t source my product but it’s still for sale on the website. When I threatened to post this review if they didn’t remove the product, they said “actually we can source it now, just reorder” and never followed up with the payment link they promised. Do not risk it.
It was a product I hadn’t been able to find that I needed for my son’s medication. I should have known it was too good to be true. Do not trust these people
