This place is awful! I was assaulted by a caregiver! A male caregiver entered my room and ripped out my hair! This place tried to cover it up. I was not the only resident that was assaulted at this place. From my knowledge I was not the only person that was assaulted. They tried to cover it up. Eventually they tried to suppress me and others. Eventually they removed the assailant. Then they removed all the administrators in one day
. Then they went after me fearing a lawsuit. This place is horrible! They have high turnover of employees. Many of which are illegal aliens. I know this because I talked to many of them. Then they made many false allegations against me. Ultimately getting me kicked out of there. Best thing for me in the long run. I believe there deep pockets felt they could surpass me. And apparently they did. I would not suggest you put your loved ones there. These are my opinions .

Brookdale facilities are pretty good as a whole.
The company is horribly run and it reflects the care.
They have a new computer system that now makes it harder on staff, and clients alike.
When you think a company this big, should be smarter then they are. Yet they keep making it harder. Our loved one in at another facility, as of this week. But all I have heard from employees is this Oracle junk, is now adding more time to there hours taking away from care for our loved ones.
You know when a company take steps to make it harder to care for your loved one they are severely mismanaged at the top.

The presentation is very elegant at Brookdale Edina. The staff was very welcoming and full of joy. I got to listen to Augsburg ensemble to end the day.
