Ordered from them as much like another reviewer they were the only seller I could find that sold Agents of Shield Season 6 in the UK.

Right off the bat, the DVD was the wrong region (region 1 as opposed to the promised region 2). The product also stated on the back it was only licensed for sale in the USA which is concerning for a supposedly UK based company. The product also states to have shipped from ECX UK which is a global logistics hub suggesting the product is coming from overseas.

The menus on the DVD looked rather home made and didn't match with the standards of the previous series dvds and the episode select menu only worked occasionally in any case, forcing me to try and watch using play all.

After receiving the questionable product I decided to look into the company some more and discovered they have an SSL certificate from TrustAsia, who are based in Shanghai and their site is based off the main commerce engine in Asia (Tengine) which is interesting given they are supposedly UK based. The site is also given a UK based IP address by Choopa Ltd and when looking up the IP apparently a large amount of traffic through their IPs is fraudulent.

This prompted me to look at the company address, which at the time of writing is listed as 13 Trident Way, Middlesex, Southall, UB2 5LF. However, when I contacted the owner of this unit they confirmed to me that the unit is unowned and no company currently occupies the premises, meaning this is a false address. It is also curious that a company based in Middlesex has a landline linked to London.

All of this really makes the company seem questionable at best and likely an illegal seller given the product quality.

I would recommend steering clear of them.

Ordered a box set on 24th May and was a good bit cheaper than elsewhere. After paying via PayPal I saw some reviews which concerned me. I sent an email to query when I would receive my order and double checking they would work in region 2. Received a reply from Catherine, the following day, who advised me I would receive my order within 8 working days and not to worry if box said region 1 as would play for me. I got my delivery on 3rd June in perfect condition . All discs work correctly and kids are delighted. Glad I didn't pay an additional £30 from elsewhere . Very pleased !

Read all the reviews before ordering, but paid via PayPal so had some protection. Only place I could find the DVD I wanted (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 6).

I did drop the company an email a few days after ordering just to advise I had read the reviews and was a little worried. Catherine responded within 24 hours to advise my order was fine and provided a tracking number.

It did take over a week for the tracking to go live so was a little worried it was being sent from Australia as per some of the reviews.

DVD arrived this morning so I can confirm its a real company. DVD was factory sealed. It did state region 1 on the box which was a worry, but a quick email to Catherine and she confirmed it was a dual loaded DVD and would work in region 2. She was that confident that it would work a refund was offered if it didn't.

Catherine was spot on and it worked in my region 2 DVD player.

Think the issue is when ordering from a company with lots of bad reviews you already expect bad things before we give them chance to land a great service. I also think we are rubbish at leaving good reviews as a country, I don't normally but felt it only fair on this occasion to try and support them.

If you need a DVD give them a go, use PayPal to put your mind at rest and enjoy the show when the DVD arrives.

Had to tate in order to post a review though it is not worth rating at all. I believe it to be a fake company.It's email address does not exist and it's telephone number is unavailable 24/7. I believe their address also fake.Avoid at all costs.

Oredered crown 3 for mothers day not realising its not released till autumn on dvd.

Arrived to her after 6 days .. must be an illegal copy as doesnt play properly etc

Jeez, where do I start?
I saw The 100 Box set season 1-6 and thought it was a reasonable price so I made the purchase. The DVDs arrived and they were pirate copies (counterfeit), which are illegal. I contacted Paypal and they said they would contact the seller, who offered me a refund of 'Half the price', to which I declined. Paypal sorted out that if I sent the Parcel back to the sender in Australia, they'd refund me, but they never refunded the postage. So, I lost £18 on postage from the UK. Now, 2 weeks later I've been sent the DVDs back, with a return to sender sticker. Probably because they know they can't sell them off, but I don't want them, I wanted orginal copies. The sticker says Left address, so I don't know if it's just a fake address they are listing, along with the telephone numbers that you can never get through to. I'm not working and this is a nightmare and a waste of my time and money and if they think I'll return them a second time around, they have another thing coming.
I'm reporting them for fraud, because they shouldn't be selling counterfit goods online and its not fair they are trying to scam people out of their money. If paypal was not in the picture, I'd most likely not even got a refund back, but I still think they should be stopped if there tracks, if they are going to continue selling these DVDs.

Disgraceful company.

Wish I'd read the reviews before buying.They never answer their phone. Item never delivered. Opened a claim with Pay Pal and luckily got refunded. Just avoid at all costs.

Do they even exist? No dvds, no emails, no phone lines! They have however taken payment! Fraudulent website or actual seller???

As with a couple of the other reviews, paid for what was advertised as a region 2 season 14 supernatural dvd and when it turned up it was a season 1 version. I have emailed them and given 3 working days for them to respond, if they don't I will be opening up a case with paypal.

Simple, honest review... Took 8 working days to arrive. Customer service was great. Dvd boxset arrived as region 1. Advertised as region 2. They allow you to track package via royal mail and it is packaged exceptionally well. Paid via PayPal. I would say everything is good but the fact that it was the wrong region is their downfall. Although, I did my research before buying and was kind of expecting it. The price was good and I suppose its not the end of the world if you have a multi region dvd player. Just don't lie to customers. The only people that keep you in business.

Same as a previous reviewer. Supernatural 14 arrived as region 1 despite being advertised as uk version. Waiting for response but will be opening PayPal case to try to recover payment. Also took ages to arrive and I received no response to message asking where it was and tracking numbers were non existent on the courier site. AVOID.

Bought the grand tour season 3 dvd and after 3 days messaged to company to ask when it will be posted only to be told that it out of stock. Also told to wait for refund which in my opinion should be done straight away. Now opened a case with PayPal.

My experience with this company was excellent. The DVD set arrived within 2 weeks and was the correct region. Furthermore, I belatedly discovered a disc was missing - I'm not even certain it wasn't one of my young grandkids who was responsible. Anyway, I contacted the company and they were brilliant. They replied very promptly. They then sent a replacement with no quibble and no charge, and were most courteous. This is the sort of company I am very happy to do business with. None of their rivals would have matched this in my opinion.

Has anyone used buydvdsonline.co.uk?
They are advertising the final series of Game of Thrones for half the price of Amazon and I wanted to know of other customers experience with this company before I commit to buying the 3 DVD set.
