Easy and quick way to book hotels.
I have used hotels.com for many years and love it.

Room was clean bedding as well.
We had arrived early but were let in because the room was ready

All is Excellent & Expected. Nothing really to add on.

I made the mistake of booking a three night stay without signing in and immediately (within the hour) contacted support to try and connect my booking with my account so I could receive my reward points. They refused

Had to cancel my reservation. Was not given a refund. If I had booked directly with the hotel I could have cancelled at any time. Fortunately I did take the cancellation insurance, however it was through a third party who make you jump through all kinds of hoops and justifications with documentation as to why I cancelled the booking. This process alone took hours of my time to complete (which I assume is the entire point), exceeding the value of the reservation itself. I will not be using Hotels.com again.

we deleted your app as there is no collaboration from your side when an error was made uppon booking and we have to foot the 400$ bill plus paying another time for a new room, its nasty that you rob people that way I will never use your service ever again!

Easy to book. Super 8 was tidy, good location to amenities, staff very friendly.

Easy to use platform that yields savings. I’ve used it for over 12 years - excellent service. A very wide range of accommodation offering.

About the booking, everything went well; but sometimes, the deals offered are not as good as expected, compared to the rates offered directly by the hotel.
But I'm willing to use again Hotels.com in the future.

Check-in went quickly and smoothly.
After a long day of travelling, I was happy to get to my room and relax.

I was double billed. Hotels charged me when I made the booking.
However I was charged again by the auberge Couvent.
They did not accept that i had already paid thru hotels perhaps because their front desk received info that was incomplete.
They did not accept the receipt I received from hotels, in my email.
I paid up to avoid a prolonged period of discussion especially because their front desk was not well organized and there was also a language barrier.
I have checked my credit card and both charges are on it.
Now, I would like the auberge to refund me the second payment.

We were booked at a hotel that was fully under construction (SureStay by Best Western Brockville). No, there was no clearly visible posting on the website upon booking. All the windows were taped up with plastic, fork lifts with workers were working. The reception area was in a tiny little space around the hotel it seemed lit a small janitorial closet. The lady at the front desk was kind and I felt bad for her because people would pull into the lot and drive away. The hotel looked dilapidated and deserted. Hotels.com told me the rooms were sleepable, and yes upon first glance they seemed ok, except there was a VERY strong smell of chemicals that being someone with respiratory issues could not endure. After being on the phone for an hour fighting to cancel our reservation we tried to find another hotel in the area but being a long weekend they were all fully booked. We ended up driving an hour to another city to get a room. I’m disappointed that hotels.com could not find us another room, they said we did not qualify or meet the relocation requirements. Although the gentleman on the phone tried to be courteous he was not able to assist us and meet our standards. We were left fending for ourselves. I will not be using hotels.com or any 3rd party booking site again. It’s just too much of a risk and a hassle. I will say the hotel should have worked on sections of the hotel allowing customers to feel comfortable to stay in the u touched side of the hotel. I’m sure once the renovations are done this will be a lovely hotel but during renovations I do not suggest anyone staying here. If I could I would post the pictures we took as proof that my claims are not exaggerated.
