Do not use this product. The essays are very poor. 3 references maximum, they are old and over 10 years. I cancelled because the quality was poor. It is very hard to cancel. Even when you do they still take money off your card. Customer service is appauling. Honestly you will write essays better yourself. I didn't get any inspiration. It is a waste of time and definitely more hassle than you could ever imagine. I have an email from customer services confirming the account is cancelled but they are still talking money. Please avoid. They are fraudsters.

These People Are Scammers who have fraudulently charged me after attempting to cancel my subscription a year ago which did not work as they give no real option to cancel the subscription or remove personal information. If they have falsely charged you contact your bank for a chargeback straight away the more people do it the faster they can be put out of business

if you are looking for other ai services use chat GPT I have had a much better experience since I have switched over.

Do not share any of your personal details, ESPECIALLY credit card details with these scammers. After cancelling my subscription a year ago they have tried to initiate 5 (!!!) charges on my credit card 3 days in a row.

As others have already pointed out, the customer support is useless - they don't understand plain English and refuse to help you in anyway. They do not know what rights customers have, so you can't even delete your data under GDPR, because they think that cancelling subscription is the same as deletion of your data. STAY AWAY!!!

Do NOT give them your debit card details. I regret it every single day. It got so bad that I had to involve my bank and file a dispute just to protect my own money.

Here’s what happened:

I contacted Caktus.AI by email to cancel my subscription. They promised a representative would cancel it. They never did.

I reached out again. They ignored me.

On the third attempt, when I tried to cancel on their site, the system falsely said: “No active subscription.” That was a lie.

The next month? They charged me again.

At this point, I had no choice but to order a brand-new debit card just to stop them from fraudulently taking money from my account.

This company is deceitful and reckless. I strongly advise anyone affected to sue them for breach of their billing and cancellation agreement. Document everything: take screenshots, save your emails, and get proof from your bank of continued charges after cancellation requests.

Protect yourself—don’t make the mistake I did.

I can't cancel my subscription even if I tried, until I reach them by email. They blame me do not cancelling my plan on time, but their cancel function wasn't working. If I could cancel by myself why do I have to email you to request it? Instead of admitting their system has a problem, they refuse to refund. They said the history didn't show I did cancel, of course it didn't. If it worked, I didn't have to contact customer service for cancellation.

Awful. Doesn't work, have to pay 30 before can even try. No refunds ever. Much better ai out there. Atrocious rude support in breach of all online selling regulations. Buy Chat GT if you want something to work. Do not waste money!!

It is truly a waste of money, I tried to humanize a text as the website described and it keeps getting "error try again later" messages and the support does not even say anything

I recently tried out caktus.ai that promised to streamline various tasks, but I was left utterly disappointed. The performance was subpar; it frequently misunderstood basic commands and delivered incorrect information, making it more of a hassle than a help. To make matters worse, the company does not offer refunds under any circumstances, leaving me feeling stuck with a product that doesn't meet my needs. I would not recommend this service, especially since there's no chance for a refund if you're dissatisfied.

Does not work as advertised. The site lists all of the ai tools you, as the user, can use, however things like the writing style, personalization, humanizer, AI assistant do not work.

I contacted customer support and explained the issues I was having. I received a very basic response by the customer service reps (two of them). They didn't address the issue. The only thing they responded with is "All of these tools work. Have a good day". Additionally, the essay generator isn't anything above average. You will have better luck with other AI writing/essay generators out there.

They offer no trial period or refund. You will have to pay $20 to test all of their tools. They make it extremely difficult to delete your account as well.

Try out other AI writing tools out there, but I'd avoid this one. Don't waste your time or money.
