I had a feeling this dealership was dodgy but I'd committed to the car that I saw and really liked. I phoned to enquire about a 20201 Ford Focus they had for sale. It was quite a high mileage and only partial service history however, I assumed this could just be down to someone doing their servicing at home to save money. I was not provided any details regarding the servicing that had been done, despite repeatedly asking questions, they could not seem to tell me anything about the car. When I phoned initially, I enquired about this Automatic transmission, diesel car however, the person I spoke to on the phone was adamant it was a manual Petrol which was extremely concerning. However, this was sorted out eventually and it was actually an automatic diesel, like I wanted - as per the advert on Car Gurus website. Throughout the course of the next week I waited and waited to hear when the car could be delivered so that I could sort out the finances. No phone call came. In total I think I chased them up with things about 6 times over the course of the week which is absolutely abysmal customer service. It was almost as if they couldn't have cared less if they sold me this car or not but I pressed on as I say, I was committed to the car. When I took deliver of the car I asked the guy who delivered it due to the high mileage I'm assuming it's had the cam belt changed recently? He couldn't tell me but he said "don't worry about anything, I just drove it 300+ miles to get here and it's fine" which I thought was terrifying but by this point I'd paid for the car so was stuck with it now. Turns out the cam belt had been recently changed by the previous owner this year so this was ok in the end. Fast forward to almost a week later, I've been driving around in the car (and my mother) as a learner driver and my dad discovers - despite having seemingly had a "full service" before it left the dealership - there is absolutely no fluid left in the brake fluid reservoir. This car was a deathtrap. My dad took it to the local garage and it turns out there are sensor issues with all the tyre pressure monitors, there are absolutely no lights showing on the dash screen which is why I have been driving the car around thinking everything was absolutely fine when the car is nothing but a death trap. I am now wondering have all these so called "servicing documents" been falsified and if I will have to involve police because how were all these several issues not picked up on the "thorough service" it's seemingly just had before it came to me? I cannot fathom how no issues were picked up on the servicing and am now wondering whether it was done at all.

Car&Cars are an excellent company. They’re extremely helpful, professional and personable. After buying my car I mentioned a few little issues to them. They immediately took the car back and sorted them, giving me a courtesy car whilst they carried out the work. I recently noticed another couple of minor issues and once again they repaired them without question. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and in fact have already done so. Left a deposit for a Chevrolet car. They where going to MOT car and sort all issues. Couple of issues waiting for MOT to be done. They agreed to bring car to us. Got it sent to the garage I use. They wanted payment before car arrived and we know why. Dogey MOT on car within first 15 mins of pre MOT check the mechanic stopped it as found 1 major and 5 minors even tho the car didn't even have an advisor on it.

I recently was looking to buy a newer car and had been looking online for a couple of weeks. Upon making contact with this dealer the response was very quick. Checked availability and made an appointment to go and test drive the car.
First impressions on arriving at the dealer was it looked small and cars were scattered everywhere. I then clocked the car i was interested in and went to have a look. I waited about 5 mins before someone came out and asked me if I needed any help. Once I explained who I was I was given the keys and told to go for a test drive. The test drive was great and on returning to the dealer negotiations were complete and the deal was done. I have never experienced a transaction that was so smooth with the dealer and I felt very comfortable during the whole process. Having now had the car for 2 weeks I am over the moon with this company and how they handled my enquiry. From being an ex motor trade person I was very impressed. They are professional and very trust worthy.
I would highly recommend to anyone to have a look at their stock and give them a chance they wont be disappointed.

This garage knew I drove my kids about in this everyday!! Not only that it had so much leaks underneath… when asked about this they completely denied and said the prop

With a fake years mot.. the ombudsman has been contacted regarding both garage and mot garage… still was under warranty but they wouldn’t fix it.. stay clear off this place!! Could off killed all my baby’s letting me buy a death trap!!

Bought a mini from these guys and within 3 weeks and 400 miles, the clutch and break pads had gone, it also needed 3 new tyres.

The men were no help whatsoever and put it down to wear and tear.

My local garage said the car shouldn't have been sold to me in this condition.

I bought a BMW from these cowboys, it had a doctored MOT. Bought the car with a new MOT, I noticed when I had recieved the car the hand break didn’t work and the breaks make a horrible screeching sound. Got in touch with cars and cars who replied saying “wear and tare dear” and that the MOT was fine, I decided to get it checked over by my dads garage where they found 9 faults that should have failed the MOT, the breaks had corroded and cable was exposed. Got back in touch with them and they were not one bit sorry or even concerned. They took the car back, after having the cheek to ask me to drive the car back to their dealership. They also haven’t signed their part of the V5 and I’m being hounded by the DVLA
