Requested a pickup at airport to go to hotel and meeting. Verified the day before. Supplied all information as requested. Driver never showed called company handling pickup and the number was not receiving calls or text messages. Called limo company they were unable to get hold of the vendor. Sent another car took one hour and fifteen minutes. Driver was not wearing a mask with the A/C blowing at full speed. Asked him to wear mask and turn down A/C ignored me. Would not recommend these people not to mention charged me double for what an Uber costs all to be late to my meeting. Stay Away!!!!! Asked for a refund they told me to go pound salt.
Customer service is non existent. Stay away
We had a limo set to pick us up at the airport. Two hours later the vehicle arrived. I was told to contact customer service for a refund. After five phone calls to customer service, I have yet to receive a return call. The driver of the vehicle was so bold as to tell us "It's been a busy night, you are lucky we picked you up."

If it was at all possible I wouldn't give them any stars Horrible!!! Left myself and five others stranded at the airport and still got charged. I am in the process of fighting to get a refund. What a grueling process
Not reliable nor trustworthy
This company is a liar and a scam. They will tell you they have availability and wait until after you pay to tell you they don't. Then, they'll apologize and give you an "upgrade" but actually downgrade your vehicle and not even refund the extra money you already paid. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy company, look somewhere else.
Beware Scam they will leave you stranded
If I could give a negative review I would. I booked a pick up from the airport in Las Vegas. My flight was changed so I called Carmel to let them know so that a car would still be there to pick me up. Thank God my fight did change. I was told at that time that there are no cars available at all for that day. No one was going to call me and let me know this. I had pre paid for my car and was told I would be issued a full refund. Not only was I not issued a full refund they actually charged my card twice. I had to call the Bank and cancel My card right before leaving on vacation and Issue a fraudulent claim to get my money back. Both Times when I called this company they were extremely rude and very un apologetic for almost ruining the start to my vacation. I would stay as far away from this company as I could. Beware I think this is a scam to just take your money and leave you stranded. Shame on Me for not reading the reviews first
Stranded trying to get to LGA
I called Carmel 8/22 to reserve a car for the next morning to take us to LaGuardia. They said none were available at 6am so I asked if they could pick us up earlier, like 5:45am. The person on the line said that could be done so we ordered a car and slept peacefully thinking we’d have no problems getting to the airport in the morning. Got up early and waited in the rain for our car. While waiting I noticed Carmel had put the time of pick up in incorrectly. It was input for 5:55. Also the number of people and bags were totally different than what I told them. No biggie for us but for others that incorrect time input could be crucial. At 5:48 am I received a call and they said no one would be picking us up. No empathy, no explanation, nothing. Two late-60 year olds waiting in the rain at the crack of dawn for a ride that never showed. I was livid! My daughter called us a Lyft and they were there in 2 minutes. Carmel sucks. Our ride from the airport to our rental was also a fiasco, but that’s a whole other story! NEVER USE CARMEL LIMO SERVICE.
Unprofessional is an Understatement
I could go into a long negative review here, but not worth my time after this company wasted 4 hours of my time in New York, guaranteeing they’d pick me up, not showing up, not having any explanation on the phone, then hanging up on me and leaving me on the side of a highway w no regard for my safety/needs. So sad to see and just hope no one has to experience what I did.

Carmel LImo is unreliable in Austin Texas
Three times now Carmel Limo has accepted my electronic reservation (made on their web site or with the app) and then days later, shortly before the pickup called to say "sorry we have no drivers". AVOID CARMEL in Austin, TX. Totally unreliable.

Car smelled like someone had been smoking in it for years, car was dirty and rusty, and all seat belts didn’t work. It was not the “deluxe” car I paid for. It was like an old taxicab. Also, the driver tried to cheat me. He added in the tip he thought was appropriate and told me that was part of the charge. Customer service is non-existent and refuses to get back to me. Very disappointing and totally unacceptable. I have been a good customer and deserved better treatment.
Never picked up, Cage fight to get a refund and they gave me less than half back
I had a round-trip pickup and drop-off from the airport to my hotel and back. They never picked my wife and I up to take us to the airport. I had to pay a lyft 85$ to get there... When I tried to ask for a refund I was yanked around between Expedia and Carmel saying the other company had to do their part. It was an incredibly unfriendly experience and I will never use this service again. I asked for a full refund of the 100$ I paid and after nearly 3 weeks of calling every other day to get this sorted out I end up with a 40$ refund even though I was told I was getting the full refund by every single person I talked to! They lied to me and at this point I am so defeated from talking to people who lie right to you that they can just keep the 60$. Disgusting business practices. Just use an Uber, Lyft, Taxi, anything but this company.
Stranded us for second year in a row at Newark Airport!
I have used Carmel many times and even had the app, but I will never use them again. For the second year in a row they stranded my family at the Newark Airport late at night coming back from a trip with lots of ski equipment. But first they strung us along for 45 minutes, telling us a car was on the way, before finally admitting that not only did they not have a car for our prepaid reservation, but they had no idea when they might find one.
They tell you to wait by the curb and someone will come in a few minutes, whether they have a car available or not. It's even worse in the winter when they tell you that!
You can find many similar stories online. Their customer service is worthless. Pay a bit more for a taxi or Uber or use Dial 7...any competitor is better!

Worst experience ever...
Worst experience ever -- Carmel claims to be available "worldwide" but they just contract out to local car services and take no responsibility when things go wrong. They left my elderly Dad stranded for roughly 30 minutes at the airport and kept lying about where they were. Dispatch explained it wasn't a Carmel Car so they were trying to reach the company they subcontracted to. I tried to speak to Customer Service after this experience but they are evasive. They leave messages to go to the website to explain your issue. There is no direct-line to a human in Customer Service. Please check other sites and you will find Carmel has horrible reviews/ratings. I have never been treated so poorly before - AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

Just received a fraudulent notice from my credit card company. Seems that Carmel Car and Limousine will accept bogus credit card numbers.
Prepaid perfect trip
I was a prepaid on-line car service from LGA to Manhattan Upper East Side & Return.
The drivers were responsive, courteous & professional.
The driver from East Side to LGA took the shortest, fastest route without prompting. This is important to prepay customers.
The driver easily met all my Rider Rights.
