Carplatesdirect

The number plate arrived fairly quickly and the quality was top notch . When fitted to the bike it looked great with the border and title at the bottom .

So easy to order and plates arrive promptly

Easy to buy online with quick documents upload.

Extremely disappointing experience with CarPlatesDirect.

Over the course of 6 weeks, I have been repeatedly assured that my number plates would be sent out. On three separate occasions, I was told they would “personally follow up with the production team and get plates in the post with the fastest postal service”. Despite these assurances, no plates have arrived and my order remains incomplete.

Communication has also been very poor. Emails are often answered very slowly, if at all, and I have been unable to get through to customer service by phone.

What makes the situation even more frustrating is that the company’s own AI chatbot has apparently suggested that I request a chargeback and make a formal complaint.

Six weeks, repeated promises, poor communication and still no plates. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before ordering from CarPlatesDirect.

Very disappointing service.

Easy to order, Good Value and prompt service. Will be using Car plates direct again.

great quality and service, al turned round in a few days , very pleased indeed.

This company is fraudulant. I have been supplied illegal plates. They have in their possession copies of both my log book and driving licence. I am issuing legal proceedings against this company. There is no legal text on the bottom of the plate. Makers name and british standard number.
These plates are illegal. They are fraudulant con artists who should be avoided at all costs. However they dupe you is unknown but know this. They will take your money and they will send you illegal plates. All of their reviews are a sham. You have been warned. There is no contact whatsoever from them. The phones never get answered and the same goes for emails. Please dont send them your money.
They have replied today inferring that i ordered show plates. They asked for my log book and driving licence. !!!!
THAT is the distinction. They have NO right to these documents when you order show plates. With show plates you can order any text you like eg your dogs name. Your dog doesn't have a log book never mind a driving licence. However when ordering Road legal plates from a registered plate maker your asked to provide these documents to prevent cloning. So their argument in their reply that i ordered show plates doesn't stack up. So many reviews say the same thing. So once again go to a legitimate company like "reg plate king" who i went to for my replacement plates and get incredible plates at half the cost.
See you in court Scammers

My initial experience was not good. I paid for priority next day delivery, which didn’t happen. 7 days later my order arrived, and I now understand the reason for delay. I received two packages, one severely damaged, which had been repackaged using “fragile” tape. The second in perfect condition. I can only assume that the first order was damaged in transit, and CPD, quickly produced a replacement. Thank you, credit to the company. My plate was well made, exactly to specification

Fast service. Thanks

I received outstanding service. My plates were perfect in every way and were delivered promptly and safely, being very well packed. I have no hesitation in recommending Carplatesdirect to your attention should you need car number plates made.

Plates are nicely made and shipping was fast. Very happy with the whole process. Thank you.

I had a problem with the plates I bought when one letter fell off the rear plate. Despite having bought the plates over a year ago I contacted Carplatesdirect and with no fuss they apologised, made a new front and back plate and dispatched them in a couple of days free of charge. Fantastic customer service.

Avoid if you expect reliable service and good communication. I paid for next-day delivery, only to find out that my order had been returned. When I contacted the company for an explanation, I was told they don't offer the service I had paid for, which made the whole situation even more frustrating.

Getting a response from customer service was also extremely difficult, despite making several attempts to call. Overall, the service has been very poor, and I am still having to chase a resolution and refund. Very disappointing experience.

Just as it should be, ordered Thursday arrived Friday, plates are spot on.
Thanks

Good quality plates, good service

Excellent service, fast responses all the way, also a high quality product.

Why can't you give ZERO stars for this bunch of Charlatans. Avoid avoid AVOID!!!
Ordered a fortnight ago so we could put our personal number on our car. Email a few days later that plate had been manufactured but no further dispatch content. Impossible to speak to them via their phone number and all you can do is "Chat" to their AI chatbot which pulls up a non existent Royal Mail tracking number. Requested a call back which then contacts you with a recorded message asking you to add their number on WhatsApp so they can talk to you!!

I'm contacting Trading Standards.

Plates were printed just fine, but delivery was a bit slow (not your fault I know, but using Evri for delivery is asking for trouble!)

Exactly what we wanted, carefully but not over-packaged, and delivered on time.
