This number contacted me and said they are from Cartrack +27873305528;
however, they refused to tell me in connection with what the call is about and wanted my ID number and personal information. When I refused to give my personal information, the caller just ended the call. Was this person really from Cartrack and if so, she was utterly unprofessional and rude. What a disgrace and poor service on the side of Cartrack. If I could rate this service, it would be -10 and not even 0.

If I could give a negitive star rating I would.
Installation was booked and nobody pitched.
1st reason was they did jot have enough parts.
2nd reason was the technician was not on duty that day.
So warning, no info given that they would not pitch.
After 6 phone calls requesting for a manger or management to call me and still no call.
I am completely disappointed and will take business somewhere else.

Unfortunately and, after reading the other reviews from other users, I came to confirm that this not what I expected.
From many offers I received from other companies of tracking devices, this one from Car Track was the most appealing, due to price competitiveness, good communication at first that included quick response every time I requested information.
It seems like right after the contract was signed, everyone stopped answering emails and calling. Not 2 months within using their services, Car Track has no stopped replying my emails and are not keen on fixing the broken devices they have installed in my van. I have 8 minivans and I am concerned this will happen with all. I hired their service to be able to control and track my fleet, but unfortunately, I am not able to do so. Now, I am stuck with Car Track for 3 years (which I agreed to the fidelization period) and am extremely disappointed that after requesting help for 20 days, no one has contacted me with a date to make the necessary intervention.
Since my company is located in Madeira Island, Car track has to subcontract a company to fiz the devices and so, its taking desperately long. I even got in contact with the company that firstly installed the devices, and unfortunately, they have confirmed that no request was made yet (so the company that works in Madeira, even if they want to help, they cannot, because a request has to be generated first by Car Track.
I was contacted by the Financial department that accepted to refund the amount paid for the devices that are malfunctioning, but the point is to have the devices working correctly (which is why I hired this service in the first place).
I wish I have come here first to read all about other peoples experience, before I hired Car Track. It might be the cheapest service available, but customer service and final product is not worth.
In addition, I am constantly being contact by the 24hour support about the drainage of the battery in the vans, however, all have battery and so, its very confusing and dramatic to receive this information, almost daily (different vehicles).
Anyone looking into hiring Car Track, I advice NOT DO HIRE THEM!

Cartrack delivers the worst service, except while sales.
The installation worked well, but you'll not be told why your car is not starting anymore. Their tracker is rubbish, in my two other cars the battery stays for months, but with the Cartrack device it lasts between one and max. two weeks.
I complained several times about it, but no feedback, today I canceled the service and all they asking for money for taking out their rubbish and a cancelation fee. If you need to install a tracker look for a proper company.

Since the tracker is out, my car works 100% again, it starts even after longer standstill. The local auto electrician wrote a report for cartrack, regarding this issue and the cartrack agent also told me that they had a phone call. Unfortunately this company ignores every logic evidence. They insist that it have to be done by a cartrack technician, not taking into consideration that they never came back to me when I complained. Also to be honest, who really thinks that cartrack will admit that their things don’t work. Anyway, another loss of approx. R2650, but it’s not worth fighting for, but maybe I could save you some money.

They answered with the same answer again, but they already "investigated" and decided to extend their bad service.

As CEO of Cartrack, you should be aware that your organization is actively failing its customers.
I have repeatedly requested the transfer of a Tracker to a new vehicle following the sale of my previous one. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, no action has been taken. Worse still, your staff do not issue reference numbers or provide any record of these requests, making follow-up impossible and service accountability nonexistent.
In the meantime, I am charged for a service you are failing to deliver. This is not just poor customer service — it is a breach of the most basic operational standards. Your inability to oversee a simple tracker transfer is wasting my time and undermining my contractual obligations with third parties such as Santam.
At this point, it appears you are either unaware of the incompetence under your leadership or indifferent to the systemic failures damaging your company’s reputation.
I expect immediate action to resolve this matter. Should there be no satisfactory response, I will have no hesitation in escalating this further, including formal complaints to regulatory bodies and legal counsel.
This is your opportunity to rectify the situation. I suggest you take it.

I Have live video footage service with car track. My business was recently a victim of an armed robbery. During the incident one of the vehicles was taken by the perpetrators have been requesting video footage for this vehicle for the last 2 weeks. Finally decided to call myself only to be told they don’t have the footage and the vehicle in question needs to be on to allow for footage to download!! Why not mention this upon 1st request? Instead you only told this vital information after throwing a fit on the phone

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction and frustration with your business practices, particularly with regards to the charges applied to a vehicle I do not own. Despite notifying your company over six months ago that I do not own the vehicle associated with registration XNZ661-GP (VIN: ADNK030000A000688), the charges have continued without resolution.
For clarification, my vehicle is BX23HG-GP, and I have been making prompt payments for services rendered to this vehicle each month. The only document I have pertaining to the service is the installation document, which I have attached for reference.
Additionally, the only agreement I entered into was a handwritten document signed by me in the presence of your sales representative for a month-to-month subscription. To date, I have never received a written copy of this document or any other document for that matter from your representative. The installation of the service was completed on 8th September 2023.
Your recent communications regarding claims of additional documents or agreements are unfounded, and I consider them to be both deceptive and fraudulent. I urge you to rectify this situation immediately.
Should you wish to cancel the service for my vehicle BX23HG-GP, I would appreciate your prompt confirmation, and I will proceed to find an alternative service provider that upholds better business ethics.
I expect this matter to be resolved promptly and look forward to your immediate attention.

The sales is great. The after service is terrible! I have had cameras not working for weeks with technicians not showing up for appointments and even able to view other customer vehicles tracking and cameras due to their back office doing incorrect linking (happened 2x).
Booking a maintenance/repair with technicians and having them stick to appointments is one of the most difficult things to do. I waited over 3 months, constantly being told technicians are sick or on leave.

Company changed my contract that I had initially signed up with (including car watch and roadside) and was using for over a year now suddenly says my contract doesn't come with road assistance and want me to pay for this new one despite my numerous attempts to contact them and the request for them to pull the contract call. Their client services team keep dropping the call and always say the managers are on lunch

When I jointed cartrack I was promise good protection I clearly stated that I need protection from taxi drivers because I am a bolt driver those people take our cars illegally today I needed "my trusty protector " by car track fail me they take too long to respond these is no easy platform that they set to report emergency funny enough I was told they can't help me because there car taxi drivers involved which are the people I needed protection from I clearly stated when I was joining they fool me to join because they want money not to provide quality protection I want to cancel my contact but they say it gonna cost me R2000 clearly this is a money making scam
