Thank you for your review and feedback! Masago, tobiko, and lumpfish are always dyed with natural ingredients (squid ink, beet juice, yuzu, citrus, etc). Their natural colour is a pale yellow or very dull orange.

My order not only showed up with the ice pack completely melted but the caviars were HOT. Threw it out straight away, did not even attempt to try it. Wouldn't recommend this site at all. I think either more ice should be added or delivery should be faster, especially if you're paying so much for expedited shipping.

Warm package, poor customer support
The caviar and truffles arrived really quickly but the ice pack was completely melted and the caviar was warm. Without knowing how long it had been in the danger zone, I'm afraid to eat it and will likely discard it. I sent support an email four days ago and have yet to hear back. Very disappointing as today is my birthday and I can't eat the special treat I ordered for myself. You need to monitor support emails!! The jars are also pretty small.. I had an 85g can of tuna and I expected it to be roughly the same size but I guess caviar is heavier. Happy enough with the truffles though.

Please rest assured that it is normal for ice packs to melt during transit, particularly in warmer weather. The purpose of the ice pack is to help buffer the product’s temperature during shipping—not necessarily to remain cold upon arrival.
Importantly, the caviar you received is pasteurized, which makes it shelf-stable for short periods and safe even if the ice pack has melted.
Regarding your support request, we do not see any emails from you. Our team normally answers within 24 hours.

Commande reçue très rapidement. Très bons produits (truffes, œufs de truite et saumon). Sauf que le beurre aux truffes n’était vraiment pas dans un bon état (fondu et refigé ensuite). Tenté de rejoindre à deux reprises le service à la clientèle, sans retour.

The one we received may not be as fresh. Eggs not as round and slides about in the jar. One jar developed mold, stored in the fridge. I could attach a photo if I could. Price is less than the previous company we buy our roes every year.

Delicious product misleading shipping
The product itself is delicious, however I was slightly frustrated as I paid express shipping and it took the delivery 10 days to arrive, when the website promised next day shipping. To be fair, I ordered it on a weekend so next day may have not been possible, however it should have been shipped on the first business day in that case ….
