I would highly recommend Channel Healthcare for someone in need of a custom fit riser recliner chair. The service received was excellent, I never felt under any pressure and I was offered a number of chair types to try at home. Shaun went above and beyond to ensure that the chair exactly met my requirements. I have Motor Neurone Disease and use Eye Gaze technology to communicate. Shaun made contact with the specialist speech and language centre to ensure that the chair would be compatible with my equipment and with the chair manufacturer about a custom bracket to hold it in the correct position.

I'm afraid we don't Facebook, but I wanted to write a recommendation and a thank you for wonderful service and experience in building me a great chair.
First of all we couldn't find a chair for my size, the chair being a mean 16" across was not readily available even by HSL. Shaun and channel healthcare was recommended to me by said HSL, so we gave him a try.
Chairs we found out have changed considerably since my first chair, they now incorporate "tip in space", which reclines without stretching your back putting you in a type of bucket seat position, which is extremely comfortable. I have cp and a circulation problem with being chair bound as well as a curvature of the spine consequently most nights my legs hurt. Since my new chair this is a very rair ocurance. The tip in space raises my ankles above my core position giving so much relief that I now manage to sleep throughout the night and don't dread going to bed. The quality of the build is excellent but having a dog we have to cover it.
The arms are also a bit of a revelation (something else new to us) I so nearly went traditional but as you can see from the picture they can raise or lower (future proof) so with help I could transfer by sliding over.
Shaun didn't try to over sell or push for a bigger sale and though the build is bespoke it is worth every penny we paid.
