What a brilliant service! It takes the guesswork out of making your home warm. It was eye-opening to see where insulation and draught-proofing was lacking in our 1930s semi-detached. Rob the surveyor was really helpful and knowledgeable on how people typically make their homes warmer. One downside - 4 sides of A4 paper of things to do! At least I know which ones are the most important through reference back to the infrared video, along with the video's audio of us discussing the results and potential fixes. I can recommend this to everyone!

I saw the CHEESE Project’s offer for thermal imaging vouchers via Retrofit at reduced cost/free for eligible households on Facebook, and I was suspicious that it might be a scam, but let me tell you - it’s definitely not! The delightful Rob came out promptly to us and spent an indepth few hours scouring every chilly cranny of my bungalow - it was eye-opening, thorough, and extremely beneficial. Now I know why my gas bill is astronomical, and what I can do about it. Special mention goes out to wonderful Tracey who called me nearly instantly as I submitted my enquiry, and who was so helpful and warm. There are kind folks who want to help others in this world, and I am grateful.

Boycee did a thorough survey of my newly bought 200 year old Victorian terrace. Picked out the trouble spots, gave excellent advice on both short term fixes, longer/permanent remediation, and a good run down of what is DIY-able, and what's definitely worth finding a professional to tend to.

Can't reccomend this CIC highly enough, I've already got my colleagues and friends making enquiries!

Joanne was very knowledgeable, friendly, and gave me lots of tips on how to interpret what we were seeing on the thermal camera, as well as advice on cost-efficient ways to improve the issues that were found.

In addition, Tracey gave me great support and communication ahead of the survey date, helping me understand exactly what to expect and how to create ideal conditions on the day to ensure the survey was as useful as possible.

I can't recommend the CHEESE project enough, we need more organisations like this! Thank you all very much.

Really, I can't recommend them highly enough - the 3hr survey was fascinating, helpful and practical + at the end you get a USB key with recordings of all the images & info.

Found many little areas which I can DIY but also highlighted that the uPVC windows were getting a bit old - 20yrs, so seals starting to go.. But there's no need to replace, just get them serviced - a fraction of the cost & far better for the planet.

So, yeah, absolutely fantastic!

The CHEESE project were really helpful throughout the process, from organising the survey, to carrying it out and following up. Jo, our surveyor, spent a long time with us thoroughly explaining any problems, or potential problems with the house. These have already been useful for remedial action and we have plans for more.

The survey was very professional and Dori explained everything very well. It was great to get the memory stick recording the survey, afterwards which I can use as a reminder/reference point as I make the changes; along with support info fact sheets attached within the stick. I have already installed a Chimney Sheep UK! Dori was very thorough in her survey. I would highly reccommend the Cheese Project

Honest and thorough survey, every step of the way helped us identify quick wins to make our home warmer and more efficient. Having a thermal imaging camera go through the home is something I couldn't recommend enough!

Just had a great survey from the CHEESE project. Boycee was very knowledgeable, positive, and fun company too. We have a list of lots of mainly small, quick and cheap fixes (with a couple of bigger/longer-term ones too). Very encouraging to know the simple things we can do that will make a substantial difference, even in a big leaky Victorian house like ours. Thanks!

A very useful thermal imaging survey, carried out by Rob, took about 3 hours, Rob was very thorough.
The survey identified several areas of concern, some of which I will try to fix in the next couple of months, some problem areas will be too difficult or too disruptive.
Rob did give several useful hints and tips, he is very knowledgeable.

I had a really sound woman called Dori who came and throughly check how air tight my home was. She was very knowledgable and clearly passionate about her work. Feels good to know exactly how your home is functioning and to then be given the knowledge to fix a lot of it yourself. A very useful service of which I highly recommend.

Had a thermal survey done of the house. Very informative and helpful, really highlighted areas for improvements, a lot of which will be quite simple. Rob was an excellent surveyor, knowledgeable, helpful and pragmatic. Thanks to the Cheese Project for their help saving energy and money.

this was a great thing to do. very eye opening. I would encourage everyone to get this done. I have made lots of small but important diy changes to my home to make it more efficient.

Dori was awesome. She worked really hard to get everything set up on time, even though my flat has an unusual layout. She was friendly and professional throughout. In addition to an inspection of windows and doors she was able to answer my additional questions about the flat roof on my flat and cavity insulation, showing how the insulation didn't properly cover brickwork and ceiling joists. She was also keen to point out affordable and simple DIY improvements so that you can get immediate improvement to your heating bills and comfort. Excellent service and would recommend.
