Great company. Great experience. We went thru 3 pkgs no problem. 4th pkg my year old Yorkie turned up his nose. Warmed it in microwave. NOPE. My vet selected Chi Dog (fire diet). It’s great to hear the first three packages went smoothly. With little dogs like Yorkies, it’s also pretty common for them to suddenly get selective — sometimes it’s the temperature, smell, or even just wanting a little variety.
A few tips that often help:
Thaw in the fridge and then warm gently (just lukewarm). If microwaving, do very short bursts and stir well so there are no hot spots or texture changes.
Try adding a tiny splash of warm water and mixing it in to boost aroma.
If he’s being picky, start with a small amount as a topper mixed into his current food, then gradually increase.
Keep opened/thawed food refrigerated and use within the recommended time window — some pups won’t eat it if it’s been sitting too long.

First, this product is amazing! My dog is 14 years old and since starting Chi Dog food, she has more energy and has lost weight, which had been a struggle for quite some time.
Following a vet appointment where I was informed that my dog’s pancreatic enzyme levels were extremely elevated, I reached out to Chi Dog for advice regarding her meals. They were so helpful in explaining the benefits of the Fire diet and answered all questions and concerns I had with expertise and compassion. I deeply appreciate the care they convey for my dog and look forward to further use of this product during my dog’s golden years. My only regret is that I hadn’t started feeding her Chi Dog sooner!

I like how you’re fast with returning my messages. You made things right when when we had issues with opened packages. Our most recent order this happened again so I needed to report that so far we’ve only seen one where it was open and the thing is it didn’t even touch the ice in the box so I don’t know how that happened. Is have some weird instances where it said our food was delivered and it wasn’t and so we are worried about that. We ended up still getting it though so everything worked out.

We have tried for 10 yrs to get a tolerable diet for our fur babies. When the vet recommended chi dog we rolled our eyes and thought, sure, another product….nope. We switched from raw to chi dog and it has been a month and we couldn’t be happier. Our dogs just couldn’t tolerate the thick rich organ diet that are in the raw canine products.
