I had a canceled flight, and the airline did not refunded the money. The claim went on for a lomg time without any success. They are useless and they won’t pay anything covered in the policy.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND CHUBB TRAVEL INSURANCE.

If i could give zero stars, that would be more than warranted. Appalling customer service. This was a "free" travel insurance, as we had purchased home and car insurance through another company. Do not touch with a barge pole, buy somewhere else. Supposed to be there for the customer,in your dreams.

Completely useless insurance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They could not replace phone even though I've paid £8/month for over a year. Complaint ongoing for over a month and they've still charged me for insurance. Criminal.

I almost feel as though this is a scam company. It took them 7 weeks and 5 phone calls to even find my claim form. Since then they've continuously delayed everything possible, taking days to reply to simple emails, searching with microscopic diligence to try a find any way possible to reject my claim. Asking for all types of obscure supporting evidential documentation that simply doesn't exist, and never has.
I so wish I had looked at the reviews on this site before choosing them for my travel insurance. I took the bait from my bank (Santander) who broker for them amongst their banking customers.
My advice would be to AVOID at all costs as they are utterly useless in every way possible.

Completely worthless insurance, don't waste your money, get insurance from another company! I got sick and had to go to emergency room on the day I was supposed to fly out for a cruise and when I call them they tell me they don't cover the cost of rejoining the cruise unless I cancel my trip or I went on the trip and got sick and needed emergency care on the cruise. How idiotic is it to ask someone to go on a cruise while sick? Don't waste your time, completely useless insurance.

After booking my holiday with blue sea holidays, and after all the issues of flight cancelled and me not being able to get to my destination.

Chubb insurance is the worst company ever, my claim was declined as the holiday was not cancelled due to adverse weather or me not turning up to airport on time.

Oh yeah, got all this in black and white.

I was at the airport in plenty of time and flight cancelled 45 mins before, my flight was transferred to the sat evening to come back on tuesday morning. Which I had to come back as I had commitments I had to stick too.

So yeah stay clear of these, they are not bothered about you or the situation.

They are just thieves, who steal people's money.

Absolutely HATE this insurance company. Used them as I pay for Revolut Metal and this insurance provider comes with them. Explained my situation and takes 1/2 week just for a email response! They give you 0 options on how they can help. Lost out on thousands and thousands of pounds! Overall avoid avoid avoid this company.

Recently submitted invoices for post journey medical expenses. Outright rejection of claims amounting to $4k on grounds that I didn't meet terms. On calling claims dept, they had overlooked doctor's referral letters that revealed condition was met. Second mistake, they didn't give the max. claim for physiotherapy. Shoddy work by CHUBB and incompetent staff! Will never buy from them again. I hear from many CHUBB's claim process is challenging. I've now experienced it first hand! I would not give even 1 star but zero star wasn't an option.

Horrible customer service, no communication or support. Do not waste your money. They also provide travel insurance through Revolut, but it is not worth it. Revolut - shame on you that you deal with this kind of company. They declined the claim clearly stated in the policy documents without any reasonable explanation.

If I could give zero I would. Its been a month since I sent a claim and nobody has replied my emails, or return calls.
I wont buy travel insurance with them ever again. I use to recommend them. I will insure my trips directly with air or cruise lines from now on.

Scam!! They took my money after I put in my card details then their website crashed. I didn’t get any confirmation email. Tried to ring their number but phone was out of reach.

Website is glitchy, forcing you to restart whole claim process from the beginning each time. Uploaded too large a file? Unlucky. Waited too long on one page? Unlucky. Horrible. Sometime can add only one item to claim, sometimes two. Wasted so much time just trying to create a claim. Cannot contact them. This is not an insurance company, it's a fraud.

Would leave zero stars if possible. Complete lack of communication, taking 7 days to reply to e-mails each time and asking for a single different document each time, rather than everything in one go! Chubb have been the reason I have cancelled my revolut plus account - I will get my travel insurance elsewhere.

UK division. If possible, we would rate this company no stars. We're currently dealing with them to provide assistance for my daughter. Assistance that is covered by their plan. It's obvious that they use any and all stalling tactics to avoid meeting their obligations. It's been 2 hours and they're still looking for a doctor. Whereas we were able to book a local privite doctor within minutes. I would strongly suggest avoiding this company.

Worst insurance I ever tried - they treat their customers like criminals, payout is very low and expedition time is very long.
Would not recommend this!

Geweldige ervaring met Chubb! Ik heb een terugbetaling aangevraagd voor mijn vluchtannulering en één e-mailuitwisseling gehad om ontbrekende documenten te verstrekken. Binnen 5 dagen werd het geld teruggestort. Goed gedaan!
