Hi im looking to put a formal complaint in. By the way i have been treated as a paying customer.
I ordered this skip on the 23rd to come for the 25th of may. Within the hour i got a message saying you've changed delivery to the following week on a thursday. Didn't give me no options just said that's whats happening no offers of cancellation ect
So i waited had it delivered on the 30rd late afternoon.
I phoned you to tell you it was all ready to be collected on the 6th. Your response was it would be collected 2 working days (8th of may). Obviously it didn't get collected. So i phoned again took me another hour to get through. And again got told it would be early in the week as short on drivers which takes us to the 12th.
Obviously didn't collect it again. Phone again today 18th of may as this is just not on. There has been no records of my calls according to the lady on the phone. She just kept saying sorry. She's now told me it will be collected by the end of this week. Which takes us to the 22ed. Which i very much doubt it.
This is so unprofessional from a skip company. Also said the reason it hasnt been collected is because its a long drive. Which you sold me the skip in the first place. If you don't want to cover the area don't sell the skip to the area. I am truly disgusted with the company. If it isn't removed this week i will have to look into getting it removed. I want something done about as it isn't right. I will be leaving a very honest review (seems im not the first )
I should of looked at the reviews before i ordered as it seems very common.
Its ok to take the money but cant collect the skip.

Poor Service and Communication
I have been contacted Circle Waste several time (email, phone calls) for the skip to be collected. It has been almost a week, no response and the skip has not been collected. I will have to escalate this

Last minute company cancel my order they informed me no stock

Complete scam company. Listed as a different company with 5 star reviews in Bristol- comes up as ‘Johnson’s waste’. Skip never turned up and they never refunded me without having to chase multiple times.

Ordered 3 skips for different places and out of the 3, 2 have them have been refunded as cant get the skips delievered on time. also one was last minute so had to pay over the odds due to it being next day

Booking process was quick and easy and price was very competitive. Skip was delivered on the wrong date and positioned on the driveway in the wrong place without direction from my tenant. When I called the customer service team they apologised that they had delivered on the wrong day and said that the delivery driver would only be able to reposition the skip in 5 days time. After speaking to a very helpful agent called Tom, the skip was repositioned 5 days later to a more suitable place. Thank you very much for your assistance.

This organisation needs to address its communication issues with its customers. I booked a skip with an upbeat customer service agent.

There was zero communication ahead of the collection. Their driver called around 7am to arrange a collection and he said he would get back to the company once I said the skip was half full saying he would update me if there was an issue.
I called him back on his mobile later the same day to check all was well. He confirmed it was.

The following morning they requested a £120 late collection fee be applied. Any attempt at explaining that there driver never turned up, fell on deaf ears. Despite several emails they are unwilling to apply logic or understanding. They are operating with zero integrity or good intention or to provide any value of customer service.
They are stating they will not collect the skip without payment being made and will apply late charges and are stating it will be sent to a debt collection agency.
I have requested they put this matter before the court, they should not be able to operate in this way and cause stress to a vulnerable old aged pensioner.

Would not recommend using this company in any circumstance.
As a residential customer I ordered a wait and load skip for an AM slot 8-12.
On the day it was booked for I contacted the company at 1pm to inform them that I still hadn’t received a notification when the skip would arrive and they were unable to confirm when that would be either. In the end I cancelled the booking as I had to go to work. Paid £450 of which they haven’t refunded. Further had no communication from Circle Waste since, despite emailing them. Feels as if I’ve been scammed.

I booked a skip for Friday the 24 of April 2026. I then got a email the day before saying fully booked will be delivered Saturday. Now there was no indication it was actually the skip company, didn't even say my name. Just "hi there we are fully booked on Friday, will deliver on Saturday "

So I cancelled straight away. Today you have taken the payment for the skip, which you wasn't being delivering until tomorrow. Attempted con artist is the best way I can describe your company, just no clue how to do it. The fact you have emailed me to ask me to rate you I find just unbelievable.

Luckily enough I've paid through my credit card and have notified them. STAY AWAY!

The skip was delivered two days later than the agreed date, but it was collected as if it had been delivered on time. When I raised this, I was told I would be charged if I kept the skip for two more days, even though we only had it for 12 days rather than the 14 days stated in the contract.

Avoid! They take your money but don't deliver the goods. It's been 3 weeks of trying to get my money back but they just ignore you. Luckily I paid via credit card so can get the money back.

Do not deal with this company. Happy to take my order and my money online then withdrew. I think they had made a mistake in the price and noticed it at last minute and cancelled my order. Awful experience.

So far they are in breach of contract.

they did not deliver skip when they said; two days waiting and still no sign of it.

Customer services do not pick up the phone.

Booked a skip, through a different company, called Stevenson skip hire,

For a set day that I needed the skip,

I got a confirmation from this company stating my skip had now been moved dates,
1. I didn’t order from these,
2. Your holding on a line for 20/30 mins at a time waiting for them to answer,
3. I cancelled or tried to cancel my booking once I read the reviews of this, but also because I needed the skip for the date I booked it not the date you gave me. Otherwise I wouldn’t have booked.

Iv had to ring 3 times for an email confirmation 3 hours later it’s still not sent, and I need the confirmation to book another skip.

Terrible company, terrible customer service.

Don’t bother with this company if you want anything done the correct way.

Unfortunately I did not check trustpilot before ordering my skip.
The skip arrived 3 hours late, it was smaller than expected. They picked it up the next day late again. Two weeks later received an email to say I had a dining chair which is a prohibited item and owed them £30 plus vat. Nowhere in their FAQs does it say no dining chairs. I relied and told them no I won't be paying it. Now it's an intimidating email telling me it could go up to £1500 plus costs. When they take me to court for £ 36 . Steer clear just shiesters.

I wish i read the reviews here before ordering one skip...total rip off company charged us extra for skip that the driver stayed there for 45 mins didn't say we must lower it .. driver left and next they they send us bill with explanation... well too late ... customer service shocking....never ever using again

I ARRANGED A SKIP HIRE ON BEHALF OF 1 OF OUR CUSTOMERS, THE SKIP WAS NEVER DELIVERED WHICH I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF UNTIL 4 WEEKS LATER. WE PAID FOR SKIP HIRE WHICH COST £325 AND DID NOT RECEIVE SKIP. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CONTACT THIS COMPANY AND PROMISED PHONECALLS BY LUCY, THIS NEVER HAPPENED. THIS COMPANY WILL CLAIM THEY WILL GET SOMEONE TO HELP, THEN PUT YOU ON HOLD, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
