Ich habe mich in dieser Klinik einer bariatrischen Operation unterzogen und kann sie von ganzem Herzen jedem empfehlen, der über diesen Schritt nachdenkt. Die medizinische Betreuung ist auf höchstem Niveau – die Ärzte und das gesamte Personal sind nicht nur professionell, sondern auch einfühlsam und unterstützend in jeder Phase der Behandlung. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Aleksandra – die Betreuerin und Übersetzerin – für ihre großartige Unterstützung, Herzlichkeit und Fürsorge. Sie hat meinen Aufenthalt ruhig und stressfrei gemacht. Ich fühle mich großartig und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wer einen Ort sucht, an dem sich wirklich um den Patienten gekümmert wird – ist hier genau richtig!

I underwent bariatric surgery at this clinic, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering this step. The medical care is absolutely top-notch – the doctors and entire staff are not only professional but also empathetic and supportive at every stage of the process. A special thank you to Aleksandra – the resident and translator – for her tremendous support, kindness, and care. She made my entire stay calm and stress-free. I feel fantastic and will definitely return in the future. If you’re looking for a place where they truly care about the patient – this is the one!

Ich wurde am 19. Mai 2025 von Dr. Namik in der Klinik „Antalya Obercity Surgery“ operiert. Der Doktor hat hervorragende Arbeit geleistet – es wurde mir nichts Falsches versprochen, alles war transparent und ehrlich. Dr. Namik ist ein sehr herzlicher, freundlicher Mensch, der mit vollem Einsatz und großer Leidenschaft hinter seiner Arbeit steht. Dafür bin ich ihm unendlich dankbar.

Auch das gesamte Klinikpersonal war einfach großartig. Alle waren sehr freundlich und fürsorglich – sie haben sich hervorragend um mich gekümmert. Alle paar Stunden kam jemand vorbei, um nach mir zu sehen. Ich habe mich in der Klinik rundum wohl und sicher gefühlt.

Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Yolanda, die alles von Anfang bis Ende perfekt organisiert hat. Sie ist eine unglaublich liebe, aufrichtige und professionelle Frau, die uns in jeder Phase begleitet und unterstützt hat.

Das ganze Team bleibt für mich unvergesslich. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen – sei es für dieselbe Behandlung oder für eine andere Operation – denn ich habe volles Vertrauen in diesen Arzt und das gesamte Team.

The doctor,

I returned home yesterday after attending Clinic Antalya for gastric sleeve surgery.
The whole process has been nothing but perfect and professional from the moment I made contact to enquire about having the surgery.
After my initial enquiry, I received a WhatsApp from Jolanda asking questions about my current weight, health, previous surgeries and current medication. I replied giving honest answers.
She replied saying I would be accepted for surgery. We discussed a suitable date and booked our flights.
I received regular informative messages from Jolanda.
DAY ONE A taxi was waiting at airport with my name and took myself and husband who came as my companion straight to the hospital. Jolanda was waiting at the hospital to great us when the taxi pulled up.
The night of arrival I was taken to my room which had two hospital beds for myself and husband.
I had bloods taken and an ECG. Dr Namik later came and introduced himself to us and explained thoroughly what tests would be taken tomorrow and about the surgery.
DAY TWO Nurses woke me. Jolanda arrived to take us to see Dr Namik who showed us a video about the surgery and weight loss journey. She then took us to see a dietician, psychologist, anaesthetist and then for tests which were a chest xray, Echo and ultra sound scan. There was no waiting around, if was very organised. As soon as I had been in one room the next was waiting for me. We returned to our room where we waited to be taken for surgery. When they were ready for me they gave me a gown to change into and stocking to wear. I was wheeled to the theatre Jolanda remained with me until I was in theatre. I don't remember anything more until I was being woken up in recovery. I was taken back to my room where my husband had been anxiously waiting. Jolanda came regularly to see me and nurses to regularly check my obs etc. Dr Namik also came to check on me. Nurses woke me and helped me to walk with them as regular walking was encouraged as part of recovery.
DAY THREE Dr Namik and Jolanda were there first thing Wednesday morning to see how I was and check on my wounds etc. I was encouraged to drink water and again walk. I was very sleepy today. Jolanda would come regularly to visit me but if sleeping would allow me to sleep.
DAY FOUR I was woken by the arrival of Dr Namik, Jolanda and a nurse. All dressings were removed and Dr Namik played a lovely piece of music whilst he removed a drain from my stomach. I was told I could now take a shower. I felt so much better after it.
It was now lunchtime and ready to be discharged to a hotel for overnight stay. Jolanda took us to the entrance of the hospital were a minibus was waiting to take us to see Dr Namik in his clinic. He explained everything I would need to do and continue with if I wanted to maintain a healthy weight loss journey. Jolanda gave me a bag which contained medications I would need yo take, protein shakes, vitamins and a DVD of my surgery. From there Jolanda took us in a taxi to the hotel and checked us in. The hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely and the room had a stunning view of the beach. I was told I could drink apple juice, water, shakes and if I asked in the restaurant for clinic broth they would serve me a bowel of watery clear soup.
DAY FIVE Jolanda picked us up at 10.30 and took us back to see Dr Namik in his clinic. He asked me questions to check I understood what medications etc I needed to take and how long for and about my future diet and exercise routine. I was a star pupil as got everything correct. Afterall, why have surgery if i'm not going to take note of the important changes to my lifestyle.
We waited in the clinic until our taxi arrived to take us to the airport for our flight home.
It had been a long and tiring day and when I arrived home went to bed after taking my medication.
BACK HOME I woke today and was keen to weigh myself. Already I have lost 10.5 lbs. I have taken my medication, injection, shower and changed dressing and now sitting having a protein shake. I feel so much better and am not at all hungry.
I have given my honest experience of the process from enquiring about surgery to returning home after surgery.
If you are considering gastric sleeve surgery, then I would most definitely recommend Dr Namik at Clinic Antalya and the wonderful Jolanda. My entire weight loss journey has been nothing but professional, extremely organised and outstanding informative communication.

Już na lotnisku przywitał nas uprzejmy kierowca, który zapewnił komfortowy transfer do szpitala Medstar – z którym pracuje Clinica Antalya, w której przeprowadzono naszą operację. Cały proces był doskonale zorganizowany: szczegółowe badania przedoperacyjne, konsultacje z zespołem specjalistów oraz pełne wsparcie polskojęzycznej koordynatorki Aleksandry i jego męża Nusreta, którzy towarzyszyli nam na każdym etapie.

Dr Namık Yılmaz to nie tylko wybitny chirurg, ale także człowiek o ogromnym sercu. Dzięki jego doświadczeniu i zaangażowaniu czuliśmy się bezpiecznie i pewnie. Operacja przebiegła bez komplikacji, a opieka pooperacyjna była na najwyższym poziomie. Personel medyczny był niezwykle życzliwy i dostępny o każdej porze, co sprawiło, że cały pobyt był komfortowy i bezstresowy.

Dziś, kilka tygodni po operacji, czujemy się lepiej niż kiedykolwiek. To była jedna z najlepszych decyzji w naszym życiu. Clinic Antalya to miejsce, gdzie pacjent i jego zdrowie jest najważniejszy, a każdy detal jest dopracowany z myślą o jego komforcie i zdrowiu. Z całego serca dziękujemy całemu zespołowi za profesjonalizm, empatię i wsparcie na każdym kroku.

I recently had gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Namik, and I’m extremely pleased with the care I received throughout the entire process. From the start, Jolanda was absolutely fantastic—she coordinated everything seamlessly and stayed in regular contact with me, making sure I was well-informed and reassured every step of the way.

The care provided before and after the surgery at the hospital was excellent—far exceeding what I’ve experienced in the UK. The whole team was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made me feel more like family than just another patient.

Although there was a language barrier at times, most of the nurses spoke enough English to communicate effectively, and Google Translate on my phone helped bridge any gaps. It was never a major issue.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The entire team was amazing, and I felt supported, safe, and genuinely cared for throughout and highly recommended.

Nothing was a problem for Alexandra who kept daily contact with me before and after the procedure was always happy to ask questions and ask how I was feeling which was touching

I visited Dr Namik on the 19th march 2025 and i had my gastric sleeve surgery on the 20th march. From first contacting clinic Antalya i have had the most amazing experience, Alexsandra was my coordinator and she and Dr Namik were amazing in explaining everything prior to arriving in Turkey.
I travelled alone and both Alexsandra and her husband Norsek were fantastic, Dr Namik also is amazing and i felt very much in safe hands and they were there every step of the way.
I feel i left turkey with not only a new healthy start to my life but also with some great friends also.
Alexsandra kept in touch with my family while I was in surgery and made sure everyone was at ease.
I have had absolutely no complications and recovered very quickly, i am now 2 weeks post op and including the lrd diet i am 2 stone down already yipee!
I cant thank these people enough and can’t wait to see you again soon xx
